Double chocolate chip are my go to everytime! Hot and fresh out the oven please! The cookies are rich but not over the top. They stay together with every bit not falling apart or crumbling. The parking is really non-existent.... I usually go with someone so I can jump out front, they circle the block and I'm out. Yes, yes and yes! While I love another cookie spot, we were in the area and wanted to try Insomnia. I love that they have multiple cookies that are offered at all times and they have regular sized cookies that are hot and fresh. One in our group has decided that the snickerdoodle's were by far the best she ever had. We also got to try the apple pie and peach pie stuffed cookies. Also very tasty! There is very minimal staff but that didn't mean minimal service. Everyone was polite and helpful for our experience. Will definitely be back when in the area. read more

Zero percent chance the order you paid for online days in advance will be ready at the promised time. I decided last weekend was a fluke... went in to pickup the simple order I had placed three days before and they were completely out of the sugar cookies and it was gonna be at least an hour wait... which I did not have because you know --schedules. I was granted a refund after emailing and decided I would try a cookie cake that is custom for this weekend thinking that that would be the way to make sure my order was ready ahead of time and it wouldn't get sold to someone else. Not surprised, just disappointed. I went last night around 11pm and got a cookie butter bomb sundae ($8). The vibes were not it, you could tell they all didn't want to be there/didn't enjoy their job. Also didn't offer a spoon or napkins, the only person that was semi-friendly was the lady at the register. Per picture- cookie butter shouldn't be slapped on top of the ice cream. On top of that because it was on top the way my lid was put on made the ice cream drip all over the sides of the cup. and again...no napkins. We order a half dozen cookies and some milk. After receiving our order on the longer side of the wait time, we dug in. Dunking our semi warm cookies in yummy cold milk. After a couple of bites and one big milk chug we realized the yummy milk actually tasted quite funky. After further inspection we realized the milk was expired by 4 days and was indeed no longer yummy. Called the store and the did refund us $4 for the milk. Before COVID, things were so easy. I work very close by and loved getting their snickerdoodles! However I recently tried to stop by and buy a dozen cookies and it was too complicated. There was a sign on the door saying we couldn't go in and needed to order on the phone. Called 3 times and was on hold for longer than 10 minutes. Too much work for just buying some cookies. Other customers were standing outside trying to call as well but couldn't get through and was also frustrated. There were about 5 parties, including myself, who ended up leaving. I wish they would allow purchases to be made in store. I understand their lobby is closed but I wouldn't mind waiting outside. Wish it was more convenient. The cookies are good! The double chocolate chunk one is my favorite so far. My little one loves the deluxe sprinkle with white chocolate, and my oldest son enjoyed his m&m. Sacha has so far eaten a mint chocolate chip and white chocolate macadamia nut and enjoyed them both. Really can't complain, these are delicious cookies. I don't think I have had a bad cookie - 10/10 recommend all of the flavors... but the peanut butter chip is my all-time favorite.
