You always have to make a stop at any Coldstone! It was clean and had plenty of seating inside. It shares a plaza with BWW and Hobby Town. The service was a bit slow than I was used too but ice-cream is always worth it. The portion was smaller too but nonetheless, it was made to perfection because the taste is always delicious! This ice cream place is one of my favorites. I've stopped by here several times in the last few weeks. They are a smidge pricier than other places, but you are paying for fantastic product and amazing service. Each time I have gone with my son, he has taken a long time to decide what he wants to get. They patiently interact with him while he decides. I've been there so many times, that even with a different covid mask, one of the employees, Dylan, recognized me today. He immediately greeted me and welcomed me back. That shows that the customer is truly appreciated. I would highly recommend going here. Their smoothies are fantastic as well! We bought a hot Brownie Caramel ice cream, we were completely disappointed by what we got. The customer service was horrible. The girl who was making the ice cream seemed to know nothing about it and she tried to make it following the picture of the the ice cream on the board, she put it in a plastic plate which looked so sketchy. The brownie ice cream they gave us does not worth $5.79, and either worth to come back. We tried to talk to the workers and they COMPLETELY Ignored us when we complaint about the size and look of the brownie&ice cream It is so upsetting to go there as they are not even friendly when you get suggestions of how the lies they tell about their products. read more

I really like Cold Stone Creamery. (Cold Rock as my 4 year old calls it) They have unique flavors, fresh tasting ice cream and quality mix-ins. I love the chewy consistency the ice cream takes on after being mixed on the marble slab. The staff at this location usually puts on a pretty good show too, they bat the ice cream at the slab at the beginning and throw your concoction up in the air to be caught in the cup at the end. It's usually high school and college aged kids working and they're always very sweet and friendly. It can take a little while to get through the line on a busy day, but this is more than just a scoop of ice cream. read more

I love Cold Stone! The Birthday Cake Remix is the beeeeest. They have a ton of ice cream flavors (sample to your heart's desire) and at least 20 toppings to choose from. They fold them in by hand. When you tip they all sing you a pretty little ditty, so if you like entertainment, you got it, I guess. They also have ice cream cakes you can buy. I have frequented this establishment a number of times in the past year and it never ceases to amaze me. This place is great. What makes them so great one might ask. Its just ice cream? Well, they take an old fashioned ice cream parlor to the next level. First they dip up one of the 20 or so flavors of ice cream. Then they take everything from strawberries to Twix and fold it in by hand with to metal spatulas. After this you are able to get a waffle cone or cup, and if you want it dipped in chocolate they will do that too, Last night I thought, "Wow it's cold out." Cold Stone, however, was the right thing for me. I had the Founders Favorite for the first time and it was amazing. SWEET CREAM ICE CREAM, PECANS, BROWNIE, FUDGE, AND CARAMEL IN A WAFFLE CONE, IT WAS GREAT! Sorry, I get kind of excited. They only down fall to this place is that they make up words to annoying kiddie songs and sing them every few minutes or so. If you can handle that, for this ice cream you could handle anything, then it is well worth they trip. read more

Terrible location! Came about 4mo ago ice cream was old and tasted freezer burnt. Today the sweet cream was empty except for remniants along the side. When I asked if they had more in the back they said of course. I preceeded to order a Like It sweet cream ands the clerk started to scrap the miniscule amounts off of the current bin. YUCK! I told them to forget it!!! No suprise they didn't offer to get fresh from the back. Two young guys that were never taught customer service! Manager should be ashamed of this store. Cold Stone Creamery ice cream is delicious, but then most ice cream is, especially when you mix it up with other tasty ingredients and toppings. I also like the atmosphere because there are several little parlor-style tables to stop and have a seat if you wish. The Founder's Favorite is great, but the Cheesecake Fantasy may not be for everyone as the "crust" consists of small graham cracker chunks. I honestly don't pay much attention to the employees' mixing the ingredients; to me it's presented pretty similarly to a DQ employee filling the cup with soft serve. There was really no fanfare in the preparation when we have gone to the Springfield CSC and I didn't hear them singing any songs mentioned by another reviewer. Cold Stone has one drawback, and that is price. My husband ordered the medium "Love It" size and I opted for the small "Like It" size; our total was around ten bones. That's a bit steep in my opinion. Personally, I prefer Andy's frozen custard (same price but larger sized treats) or any of the fro yo joints if you're into customizing your dessert for much less money. However, if only real ice cream will do for you then Cold Stone Creamery might be the ticket. read more
