My family and I came in on 5/22 at 6:45 and the lady working acted like she was not happy to see us because we had five people with us. We were facing the rolled ice cream section and she told us she could only make three ice creams because she was by herself. We were the only people in the cafe! It was my mom's birthday so two people didn't get to have any ice cream and it made her feel horrible! After we placed our order, she gave us major attitude the rest of the time we were there. The customer service at this place could improve drastically! This is the second time we've been here (the only rolled ice cream place near us) and my mom wanted us to go here for her birthday. Especially since it is my sister's favorite ice cream place. The customer service was just as bad back then (this was years ago) and we hoped it was better. Update, Refused to serve rolling ice cream 20 mins before closing time, we drove all the way from other side of town. So sad :( Finally the first boba cafe in Springfield!! Not only did they sell boba drink but they also sell the rolling ice cream! I had Matcha green tea ice cream, was a little mild but the berry n' cream was the bomb! If you don't know what it is then you have to try it! The cafe is well decorated! 3 big screen TVs, comfy sofa, and modern tables and chairs. The only downside is the location, I hope people in springfield get a chance to try new types of drinks and ice cream from this place! read more

So I got the winter mint by accident when I ordered online my brain read watermelon but I was not let down the winter mint is so freaking good! Came here so excited to try this place based on the reviews and sadly, I was disappointed. I ordered a lychee boba and it tasted terrible. My friend had a melon drink and it had an off-putting after taste. More than anything and the very reason for my 1 star review was the service or lack thereof. Yay, after months of practically stalking their location and facebook page, they finally opened! And I finally got around to trying it! I've been very excited for this boba cafe, finally Springfield has a boba specialty store of it's own! I went with my boyfriend and the staff was very friendly and helpful in describing all the flavors and types of drinks they offer with a smile on their face. You can really tell they love what they're doing, and I really appreciate that in a business! I ordered the La Boba Special, which was a black milk tea drink with chewy black tapioca pearls. The drink itself was so refreshing and the perfect level of sweetness for me - sweet but not too sweet. I just couldn't get over how refreshing it was! My boyfriend ordered the mango milk tea without tapioca pearls (why). His was also really refreshing, and had a nice crisp mango flavor. It was a little on the sweeter side though due to the favoring, so he liked the La Boba Special more but he still enjoyed this drink. I think it would be perfect on a warm and bright summer day! The only complaint about my La Boba Special drink was I thought the amount of ice was a tad too much. I like to move my straw around to control the amount of drink vs amount of tapioca pearls I chew on, so it was a bit difficult to do that. But I can just order mine in the future with less ice! The only thing I'm worried about for this store is the location is kinda hard to see, kind of like a hole in the wall location. But if the business promotes itself and advertises properly, I think it can really flourish because the drinks I tried were very declicious and I can't wait to go back and try more! I've heard lots of positives from other customers about their smoothies so maybe I should give that a go sometime! read more

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has been waiting for a place like this to open in Springfield. I first found out about it through the news leader, of all things... Yes, some of us still read the paper. :-). It's tucked away in the corner of the shopping center, so be sure and keep your eyes open when you're looking for it. It has a very modern artsy Decor, which doesn't quite fit the menu but that's not my call to make. They have a ton of options, all of which are completely customizable. I love green tea , and I'm an even bigger lover of boba so this place was fantastic for me. You can pick your tea Style, and your flavor of boba. Then, they use some sort of magical sealing machine and punch a big straw through the lid. This makes it easy to transport, but does not do much for insulating your drink. Be warned if you stop by on a hot day. I will definitely come here again and again, and try something new every time. If I was a millionaire, I would definitely check into setting up one of the shops myself... Or maybe in the style of a mobile food truck. This would go over like a big hit in the right crowd. It's fun, interesting, and a novel thing for Springfield. read more

First legit and modern boba shop in Springfield! Great decor, awesome drinks, and great customer service. My favorites are there infused flavor ice tea. There's also variety of toppings to choose from that really compliment the drinks perfectly They even added ice cream rolls recently which are to die for. I'm a huge fan of smores and when I found out they have one speciality ice cream called "bonfire" which is basically having smores in ice cream form. Simply amazing!
