Came in on a warm summer Friday evening, there were two employees who were doing a good job getting peoples orders done. The vanilla with pb cups mix in was so good! We ordered the small and it was a good size to be enough after dinner, but for $9 each it should be! We did not get a cone but they looked yummy! A good place for a treat you will eat right away, just across from sky zone!

The ice cream was pretty good! I tried one of the specials--apple ice cream--and while it was tasty, it was a bit too sweet for my liking. The portions are huge; even the smallest cup is more than enough. The service was great, though the ambiance was just average--nothing particularly special. Overall, not bad! I'd come back.

Coldstone is one of my favorite ice cream places to eat at. It's such a nostalgic parlor, this location was super clean and cute! I love the variety of flavors, and even though it's a little pricey per scoop, you do get a good portion. When I was younger, cotton candy + marshmallows was my to-go-to combo, but now, I like getting the cheesecake + graham crackers combo! I really appreciate the friendliness of the employees here, very kind girls who seemed happy to help.

This review is mainly for a girl who's working today on Monday (10/7). I came in around 3 PM and was craving for some ice cream. This girl was so friendly, helpful and patient answering my questions and happily gave me some samples because I couldn't make up my mind about which one I would have chosen. I ended with some coffee/chocolate ice cream with Oreo cookies, peanut butter and almond. Yummm! It hit the spot! Thank you again for such a great service!

I am a huge cold stone fan, but this one absolutely blows. The cheap owners never have enough staff so you always have to wait too long. They are super stingy on extras. And they keep the freezer temperature so high that your ice cream by the time it gets to you is somewhere between a custard and a milkshake. For what? To save a few bucks in electricity but lower the quality of your product? Losers. Nothing ever changes, ever. Cheap ass owners who don't care about the customer. One look at the chairs tells you all you need to know about this place.

Cold Stone Creamery is a classic. Good rich ice cream shop including shakes as well as smoothies that are solid any day of the year your sweet tooth is tingling. The CSC of Thousand Oaks in the Janss Marketplace mall shopping center is truly more hidden than gem and a place we wandered into post dinner and thrills at the Reign of Terror Haunted Maze. We waited in an epic line that moved at a decent enough pace though there was a server getting off right at this rush which slowed the line again. Nobody seemed to want to be here or deal with the influx in business on a Sunday night however they still served us. Unlike some other creameries Cold Stones does have a less enthusiastic selection, however they have unique flavors and toppings not to mention signature concoctions. Cold Stone's does cookies, cakes and other desserts as well, not to mention family/bundle deals for pre-order. For an everyday experience you can do a waffle cone or cup... The waffle cone is huge... A regular (Love It Size) or small size cup (Like It Size) are both great portions and they fill it to the max. You can opt in to mix in your toppings of choice with your icey treat unlike most places where you just get all those extras on top and they melt in. The Gotta Have It (large) is great for sharing and you can probably play around with more variety and flavors. You can choose from things like Cake Batter, Mint, Pumpkin Bread, Strawberry, Classic Cookie Dough, Peanut Butter Cookie Dough and more... Cold Stone Creamery T.O. also has pretty cool non-dairy options including the new Silk Almond Milk based Chocolate and Mango sorbet... Which being a picky weirdo about chocolate milk (elementary school flashbacks) and chocolate ice cream I usually go for sorbet all day unless it's some non-dairy vegany double chocolate chip (it's the chips and crunch). We enjoyed our treats in the shared patio area for the marketplace, just a few feet left of the entrance. Aside from the small serving of service it's definitely something that hits the spot. Somewhat of a stroll from most parking areas but the prices are pretty good to be honest ranging from $6.50 and up.

6-9-2021 - Screenshot of the time I received my order after placing it at 12:53 PM.

I placed a mobile order on the app at 12:53 PM today. I arrived at the store at 1:15 PM. My order should have been ready at 1:10 PM, based on what the app receipt said. When I arrived at the store, there were 3 people ahead of me, so I didn't mind waiting. There was only one person behind the counter and it was a male employee, and there was a female employee in the back. The male employee helped the first 2 customers, and since I've been waiting for five minutes I asked if my order was ready because it was already 1:20 PM. The male employee could not find my order because it was still not made and he said he just received the order on the computer. I looked at the time and it was 1:25 PM. There is no way that the order just came in at that moment, because I place that order at 12:53 PM. So that means that he did not check the computer for any incoming mobile orders. He asked if he could help the people in front of me which is just one customer and I said that's fine because I expected for him to help me right after him. A father and son came in a few minutes before that and they were standing in line waiting. I stood away from the line because I was waiting to pick up my order. After he help the customer that was before me, he went ahead and help the customers that came after me. That made me extremely upset since I have already been waiting almost 15 minutes at this point. After another five minutes I asked if I can just get a refund. The male employee said that he can help me and create my order within 5 minutes so I waited. But this still is very upsetting considering that he should've helped me before the customers that came after me. I told him why I was upset and he apologized and said he was understaffed, and I understand that. But what I told him was that he should've taken care of me prior to the people who came after me. I understand being understaffed, but Coldstone needs to train their employees to take care of customers in the order they came in. So when I came in around 1:15 PM and my order was not made, I should've been the next customer taken care of. Especially since there was a second employee in the back and she should've came out and helped him right away. Both employees are nice kids, treated me with respect and in a calm manner, but Coldstone needs to train them on how to take care of customers in order. It doesn't matter if the customers are in person or they place a digital order. The whole point of having an app, is to avoid waiting. So this was completely ridiculous and unacceptable. I appreciate that they upsized one of my orders at no charge, but that does not make it up for the lack of training of the employees. I have no confidence at this location and I hope these employees will understand how to take care of their customers better and be more organized. Just because a customer ordered online, through a mobile app or a delivery service - their order should not be ignore or be made last just because they did not order in person.

People kept tripping over this sign. Floors were very dirty. Counters too.

As a result, Dear Hubby and I haven't been close by to Little Calf to remember to stop in for quite a while. Recently, though, after a nearby medical appointment I felt like some non-dairy ice cream. It was a Saturday in the mid-afternoon, and they weren't very crowded, which worked out great for us. They always have at least four options for frozen "ice cream" without the cows' milk dairy. Having just been through an MRI test, I decided to treat myself to a small sundae. Hadn't had one in ages! Their hot fudge is outstanding! Just the hit of chocolately goodness I was craving. I paired it with lemon sorbet. It was a wonderful combination of sweet and tart. It was warm enough to sit out on their side patio and just relax for a while. I remarked to DH that I miss all the plants that the previous business owner had kept out on the patio for atmosphere. The current iteration is clean, but on the boring side. We love their food, so I'm overlooking the lack of ambiance for now. That being said, DH and I have been discussing recently how much we miss the kinds of places that used to have great style in their decor. Theme restaurants are more rare these days than they ought to be. I'm sorry for our kids and grandkids that they don't get to experience more of those kinds of visually interesting kinds of places without having to go to a theme park. I definitely enjoyed my small sundae as a wind-down from the whole MRI experience!

Kids devoured all their ice cream, which is rare for them to do. They also serve food here, which we did not get to try but is good to know is an option. They have tables everywhere and a fountain machine and some unique teas I got to try, like their lavender tea! This was beautiful and so amazing. I can't wait to come back and grab another ice cream espresso from here and maybe try one of their sandwiches. Yum!

Overall? Why travel for European flavors when you can just come here and save yourself the jet lag?…read moreThis place was fantastic. It's tucked away in an unassuming corner with a relaxed outdoor seating area next to a fountain that somehow makes the whole experience feel even better. The flavor lineup balanced classics with more creative combinations, and honestly, everything looked like a home run. Service was good and the gelato itself absolutely delivered Parking? Lot I had: Blackberry Mascarpone (5/5): This was killer. The blackberry brought a deep, jammy sweetness while the mascarpone added this rich, fatty creaminess that rounded everything out beautifully. It tasted layered and balanced instead of just sweet for the sake of being sweet. The kind of flavor that makes you immediately start debating whether getting another scoop is irresponsible or completely justified The Elvis (5/5): Elvis knew what he was doing. Banana, chocolate, and peanut butter sounds like it could go off the rails fast, but this combo absolutely worked. The banana actually tasted real instead of artificial candy flavoring, which immediately elevated the whole thing. Rich, nostalgic, slightly over the top in the best possible way. A genuinely great gelato flavor
