By the time she finished her phone conversation, there were 4 other customers who arrived shortly after we did. The employee did not greet any of them either. This employee needs serious customer service training! We were offended when she did not offer an apology for ignoring us for more than 10 minutes while she talked on the phone and proceeded to say absolutely nothing to us except "what kind of ice cream do you want?" When we paid $21 for 2 cones, she again said nothing. We took our cones to the car and found she had given us 2 broken cones inside the paper cone holder. For security reasons, let alone appropriate customer service, employees should never be alone in any business. This is a pretty standard Cold Stone. The staff is nice, the ice cream is good (but a little rich for me), and the store is generally clean. You know what you're getting here, because it's the same as every other Cold Stone location. The parking lot at this location, however, stinks. The complex was built into a small triangular lot, which makes the spots cramped and very tight. It's hard to navigate in and out of spots sometimes, and it's damn near impossible when the area is very busy. Be careful so you don't get into a parking lot fender bender. And people, QUIT PARKING IN THE AREA THAT IS NOT DESIGNATED FOR CARS. Stop being lazy and park 20ft farther away and WALK, instead of clogging up an already clogged parking lot. Sheesh. Not the best Coldstone in town. Ordered two originals off the menu - a Banana Caramel crunch and Chocolate Persuasion, asked for both to be chocolate waffle cone bowls. Simple orders off the menu, and wife and I were the only ones inside. They had 5 members working that night and somehow forgot to put both ice cream orders in waffle bowls like we had asked. The girl working on the Banana Caramel Crunch didn't know how to make the order and had to ask two supervisors for help. Even then, with 3 members working on the same ice cream, the bananas used were not fresh, there was hardly any caramel sauce added, and what I really ended up with was a cup of vanilla ice cream with old soggy banana slivers sprinkled with several nuts. They hardly filled the cup up either despite their lids being elevated. My wife's order was actually filled up fairly nice, but was very chalky and tasted as if it had freezer burn for a few days. We won't be going to this location again for a while. read more

I actually don't like the berries so I just order the cheesecake ice cream and add in the pie crust mix and strawberry. Between that and a very large choice of toppings you can make almost any flavor. I will have to agree with Lauren the parking here does suck. Thought it would be nice to bring my daughter here after school, we went in she picked out vanilla with sprinkles and I ordered the "cookie don't you want some" I added one extra topping Reese's cups. My daughter was happy with her ice cream, however when they handed me my ice cream they had made it completely wrong. Yes you can watch them make it but I was worried about paying and keeping an eye on my child. They overfilled the cup which started melting down my hand immediately, I don't know what flavor ice cream I received but it was not good and the Reese's cups(which were the only thing in the ice cream) were old and stale, I ended up throwing it in the trash after two bites. I wouldn't be so upset if my order hadn't been twenty dollars, so I was charged for what I ordered but not what was received, even though we ordered the smallest size the "like it." EXCELLENT customer service! Went in with my little one for a cold treat. We were greeted as soon as we walked in by a friendly young man behind the counter. He was great with my daughter and struck up conversation. I described what I was in the mood for and he whipped it up to perfection! Five stars for excellent customer service today! It took the clerk a while to acknowledge us buuut it was because she was making waffle cones!! Which was pretty cool to watch and it filled the place with a sweet and delicious aroma!! I asked if they had dairy, soy and gluten free alternatives and she knew what they were right away. Lemon or raspberry sorbet. Sadly the only safe mix in was gummy bears but for my 8 year old he was absolutely thrilled! Hopefully in the future they will carry a couple of dairy free ice creams (chocolate hint hint) besides the sorbet! We stopped in today after the kid's first day of school to cool off and talk about how it went. The store was very clean. The clerk was very nice and helpful. They keep their freezers stocked with ice cream cakes, cupcakes and ice cream sandwiches that all looked absolutely gorgeous and decadent! This a typical Cold Stone Creamery store. They have a friendly and attentive staff, and a clean and inviting environment. For anyone who hasn't been, it's a marble slab type place. Pick your flavor, pick your toppings, and they mix it all together for you. They have cups, cones, waffle cones, flavored waffle cones, shakes, and ice cream cakes. The ice cream is good; It has a good flavor and thickness, and they have almost any topping you could think of. It's quick and convenient, and you can always grab it togo! Only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because it is a bit over priced. You can find local marble slab places that have the same quality product for a little bit more reasonable price, but Cold Stone definitely hits the spot! read more

Stay away. My husband and I stopped here this afternoon to use a gift card given to us a long time ago. We do not normally buy cold stone ice cream, and we're pretty easy to please. All we were looking for was a nice cold treat on a hot day- what we got was a small ice cream that was way too sweet (yes, even for ice cream!), and a chocolate shake that was not good, for about $11. My husband took one sip of his shake and pushed it away. I took a taste and agreed that something was not right. It had a distinctly sour, bitter aftertaste. While I finished my ice cream, he debated about whether he wanted something else instead. Since the ingredients seemed to be the problem, he decided did not want something else, even though my ice cream seemed fine. When I took the shake back to the register and explained the problem, we were told we could not receive a refund, only a replacement. Both of us had an upset stomach for about two hours afterwards, and neither of us had more than a sip or two. Poor customer service, bad ingredients. Food poisoning is not worth $11, so we simply left. Poor customer service is my biggest pet peeve- as someone who has worked in customer service and international sales for four years, I promise you- it's really not THAT difficult of a task to make sure your customer is happy, even if there is a language/geographical barrier (today, there was neither). While I realize that the employee I spoke to is probably a minimum wage high school student, store policies that young woman has to follow are set by real adults. Whoever set the policies for this store clearly is not doing their job! Shame on you, coldstone, for trying to give my (active-duty & a veteran) husband food poisoning on Memorial Day, and refusing to make any real attempt to make amends. Store manager was very rude. My first time I wasn't quite sure what I wanted and each time I asked if I could sample something she would say "try it or want it?" She repeated this each time I ask for sample. Very rude. Then she asked what I wanted to mix in. I wasn't too sure what she meant as it was my first time my boyfriend was finished and waiting for me at the counter she then turned to the girl at the register and said "wait. She's not done yet" clearly annoyed I couldn't decide what I wanted. I almost complained but then I noticed SHE was the manager on duty... not impressed with her customer service at all. Im a lover of cold stone creamery and it has never let me down-- until my last visit to this location. I even always get the GOTTA HAVE IT, just so i have left overs for the next night or so. My last visit i got Sweet cream & Butter pecan with white chocolate chips and praline pecans. A delicious mixture (as with anything from Cold Stone). I had about two, maybe three spoonfulls when my ice cream was ruined buy a long stringly black wavy hair that nearly made me choke. I myself have blond straight hair, so it obvisouly was not mine and I was served by a male with a buzz cut, so it was not his. Clearly whoever made the ice cream was not wearing the appropriate hair net. I havent been able to go back to Cold Stone yet, which is pretty disappointing. Im not concerned about the unsanitary conditions have how all the food is handled. Bummer. read more
