I've been coming here for years and I love that there are so many locations now, so you have many choices as to where you can get your ice cream fix! There are many flavor options and even a couple of non-dairy choices. The service is a bit hit-or-miss, and really just depends on the staff there at the time as well as the specific location. Beyond the regular cones and cups they also have some options such as the flight, nachos, and the banana split. They also specific which flavors have gluten. They used to advertise that their dairy came from grass-fed cows, but that stopped a few years ago so I'm guessing that is no longer the case. While that's what caught my attention and actually got me in the door, I've stayed a customer because they do mention that their dairy comes from cows that have not been given antibiotics or hormones. So for those who pay attention to such things, take note! This locations is pretty small but I do like that they have just a couple of outdoor tables with chairs so that I can sit outside when it's nice weather. read more

My boyfriend has brought me here twice now, and both times he insists on getting me the flight of ice cream. I can never be disappointed. The ice cream is so creamy and rich, and the flavors are amazing. They have nutty flavors, fruity ones, minty, citrus, caramel, sweet, savory, and everything in between. My favorite is the honeycomb one. I also love the presentation of the ice cream cups on the wooden flights. It's adorable. However, we all found that the ice cream was quite icy and lacked any creaminess. It was unfortunately not good ice cream. The texture resembled ice cream that's been freezer burned. Screamery has so many flavors to choose from, and between three of us, we ordered 4 different flavors, so it tells me that perhaps there's been a change to how they make or store their ice cream, or maybe it wasn't their best batch? Another area that we found unappetizing was the odor inside the building; it smelled like sulfur or sewer gas of some kind. The ice cream itself had a film to it somewhat - I can't put my finger on it but as your eating it there's like a layer of film on the roof of your mouth. They smacked it onto the cone without really trying to make a nice presentation. The strawberry ice cream wasn't sticking very well and I could tell they just gave up trying to serve a proper stack. I carried on and still took it because I personally care more about the flavor than how it looks--I was just bummed they slapped the cone together and didn't care. The strawberry flavor itself was basic, not really anything to get excited about. It was nice that it had real pieces of strawberry but overall just left a weird film on my tongue and just left more to be desired. Other family members Lille the lemonilla which is gray and the lavender with honey milkshake. They give a punchcard so you can earn a free scoop of ice cream when you buy about 15 scoops.
