I've used these guys for years for routine stuff, but the real test of an AC Company is do they step-up-to-the-plate when you have a problem. They had their chance a few days ago as I had my first problem. Responsiveness- I went down early on a Sunday evening when it was 90+ outside. Not good! I delayed contacting them until Monday morning as not many folks want to pay increased weekend rates! On Monday, I contacted them around 10:30 and received a 3-5 time slot. Two guys arrived about 3:15. To me, that's an awesome response during the summer! Workmanship- They quickly diagnosed the problem as a bad capacitor. They had it replaced, and they were gone within an hour for $175! It could have been much much worse hence the Happy Dance! It's this kind of performance that will keep a customer like me coming back!

I've had multiple companies work on the same house, and it still wasn't running correctly until a simpler, more experienced solution was applied. You don't want inexperienced technicians guessing or experimenting on your system. You want someone knowledgeable who's been doing this work for a long time. Ask questions, challenge repair recommendations, and require that they put it in writing that they've correctly diagnosed the issue and that the repair will fix the problem. There's no reason you can't ask for that before approving the work.
