Huge shout out and thanks to Von. We're in Highland, near the Line Fire, and our AC stopped blowing cold air and then broke down. The next day, I called Von and Cold Zone and he came to our house right away. He was honest, told us that the capacitor and two fuses were blown, and had our AC running right away. His prices are reasonable and affordable. I appreciated that he didnt try to sell a new compressor or anything that wasn't needed at the time. He came back on Monday and replaced a remaining fuse and even made sure we had the correct air filters. Excellent service! read more

Von has saved the day.. again! Home warranty assigned a worthless company who didn't contact us... (they have a BBB rating of "F"). Four days later, 106 degrees and we decide to pay out of pocket. I remembered that they had sent Von out 6 years ago so we found his contact info and he fixed the unit the next morning. Had him check the other A/C unit and we could see by the testing that it had started to fail so while he was replacing that capacitor, we found that it, too had started leaking. He doesn't over-charge, he doesn't try to fix things that don't need fixing, such a great guy. Can't go wrong with Von. Will keep him on file for all future needs!!! read more

Definitely recommend Cold Zone 100%! Our VERY OLD gas furnace in our 1902 house had intermittent pilot issues. We had to manually heat the thermocoupler in order for the heat to kick on. After some time and potentially wind/breeze in basement the heat stopped. After getting frustrated doing this every morning, I finally called for a PRO! Von delivered 100%. Von responded quickly with a basic estimate over the phone without seeing the issue based on my description. He provided a window of availability and showed up on time with a confirmation call upon his arrival. Von diagnosed the problem fairly quickly and fixed the issue with a very reasonable amount of time. Ultimately (if you are wondering), he replaced the pilot ignition. Wala! Heat! He followed up the next morning to check if all was working properly and ensure we were satisfied. RARE! Von did not oversell or pressure unnecessary work in order to enhance his sale/work. He clearly explained and showed me the issue with great detail and also explained where the furnace could be improved. We felt very comfortable working with him. He was very professional and personable. Von is genuine and his honesty is appreciated. Outstanding customer service and trustworthy. So personable my mom and I spent much time after completing the work talking and laughing with this sincere professional. I tried to fix my AC as much as a weekend warrior could, but I had to give in and call in the expert. Von was connected to me through my home warranty plan after buying my condo. As soon as the request went through the warranty plan, I received a text from Von a couple hours later. We found a date and time that worked and met. So thankful for Cold zone. My mom had her unit replaced by another company about 5 years ago. This past weekend it went out on her.
