Paco & Simon Installing the New Rheem Tankless Water Heater
David M.

" The Best Plumbers Ever " My Rheem Tankless Water Heater was leaking water on my garage floor so I called the Rheem Company. The Rheem Company suggested that I call Rush Plumbing, Heating, and Air in Yucaipa, CA. Don from Rush Plumbing sent veteran Plumber Paco and his assistant Simon to my house around 3:00 pm on the same day that I called. I have never seen a more sociable, intelligent, detailed, and professional customer-caring Plumber in my entire life. Both Paco and Simon were so friendly and had great personalities as they took their time and made sure that everything they did was explained to me with honest smiles on their faces. After entering my garage and checking my old Rheem Tankless Water Heater which was leaking, they contacted both Rheem and a company in Fontana, CA about 4:00 PM to get another new Rheem Water Heater that they could pick up. It took them 2 1/2 hours with all the traffic on the 10 freeway to get my new Rheem Water Heater replacement and drive back to my house in Beaumont, CA . Paco & Simon then took almost an hour to remove my old leaking Rheem Water Heater and replace it with the new Rheem Tankless Water Heater. Both Paco & Simon did an amazing, perfect, and super clean installation of my new Water Heater. I have never seen anybody like Paco & Simon from Rush Plumbing, Heating, and Air in all the years I have done reviews of professional employees. If you ever need some Plumbing, Heating, or Air problems taken care of, you should definitely call Rush Plumbing, Heating, and Air at (855) 845-7874 and speak to Don the Customer Service representative on the phone. Don was so Nice and Great to call me back 3 times in 5 minutes verifying that he had set up my appointment with Paco and Simon to arrive at my house only a few hours after I called Don. If you ever need help with Plumbing, Heating, and Air, call Rush Plumbing, you will not be disappointed !

My land lord recommend me Rush HVAC, I did not have a choice since I am renting, an bragged about how professional an how detail they are an how they take the time to explain any questions I have. Issac from Rush air conditioning shows up with my land lord and supervisor maintenance to inspect the massive problem of my AC system not working properly and what I suspected to be mold inside the HVAC ducking system. Long story short, Issac puts his hand on the mold that he says it is just dust..how does dust accumulate inside a duct when their is a filter?? But he says it is just dust, he puts his hand on the mold an try to put it in front of my face. I immediately step back 10 steps back and ask him how does he know it is dust. Issac reply back saying, "I'm pretty sure it is not mold". So mush for a yes or no answer. I asked him if he could remove a vent for inspection. Issac replied back No. Issac could not remove two screws and a vent. I had to use my own tools to remove two screws an a vent an inspect it my self. The only thing Issac was nice about was he let me borrow his step stool. Issac recommend to just bust all the old ducking out and install all new duct work. I ask him again what about the mold, he replied back with a sarcastic remark making me feel stupid. I had this "dust" inspected by a certified mold expert an find out that it is positive for mold, high level of mold, the name of the type of mold is Cladosporium. I recommend Issac to go get him self checked out at the doctor since he rubbed the mold all over his hands and never did wash his hands. He also blamed my cats for the malfunction of the HVAC system not operating correctly and also said that I had an incorrect air filter. He did not recommend any kind of advice to protect me or my family. Maybe it is not Issac's fault, maybe his manager did not train him properly to do his job. I just did not like the fact that I had to remove the ceiling tile, unhook the flex pipe, told him to be very careful with the mold and then remove the vent. The only thing he did was let me borrow his step stool, re install the vent upside down an made me feel stupid in my own home.

Excellent welding job!

Friendly customer service... Technician was very helpful in…read morehelping me understand what the problem was and what caused the problem and future solutions to foreseeable future issues. I however used the wrong card with a higher interest rate realizing my boneheaded mistake, I called customer service and was able to resolve the problem with the right card. This organization is very professional and laidback at the same time. Enjoyed my experience so much that I joined their membership and received discounts on parts and services and became a VIP member to get help before a non member moving me to the front of the line!!!! Don't hesitate, go with this company and become part of the family.

My system is a 20 year old system that limps along but still works and I was weighing the options…read moreof a tune up to get through the season or put repair money towards a new system. I sent out inquiries on yelp and Year Round was one of the contractors. They got back pretty quickly but I was unable to take the call for a bit and they were texting and calling a ton, very persistent. In general, the company seemed very friendly, very competent, but their pricing is quite a bit on the high side, and their sales tactics are a bit tired. I don't think they deserve a 1 star for it but fair warning to others to watch out for sales tactics. When I was finally able to field a call, they got a tech out the next day. Tech was very friendly, took amperage measurements of the capacitors and motors and priced out a new capacitor and fan motor for $1700 but mentioned a more senior tech was not far and he could come by and take a look. The more senior tech cleaned my condenser without me asking which, ok, cool, thanks, but that felt kind of like entrapment by doing it without permission so I was a bit wary that it was a tactic. They said that yeah the 1700 fix could get me through the season but that the system was on its last legs and that I should meet with a sales person to talk about replacing. I was a bit wary again, a dedicated sales person is a bit of a red flag. Told them I'd rather not, they then offered to replace the capacitor and the fan motor then and there and if I decide to buy a full system they'd credit that 1700 towards that. Again, I said no thanks (remember, my system technically still works), I'd rather not waste the tech's time if I end up buying anyway, which he hesitantly accepted. The sales person was supposed to come by in the evening and about an hour before they came by the fan on the condenser unit stopped working. I'm not saying they did anything to it cause I don't know for sure, but the timing was a bit too convenient so I'm putting it in my review. I went out and got it spinning again and it has worked ever since. He wanted to check the unit again when he got here and seemed a bit perplexed that when I said it was running fine. After he checked out the unit and we chatted about backyard stuff (guy was very friendly) we went inside and it turned into a timeshare presentation at my dinner table. He had laminated pages in a binder, package printouts, and everything. After some hemming and hawing about the differences between the units he shared prices. $24k for a single stage Lennox system, $27.8k for a 2 stage compressor Lennox system, and $34.9k for a variable rotary Lennox system. I was starting to understand why they were willing to "fix" my compressor at sunk cost with the bet that I would buy. The margin was huge. I asked if that included any duct work, he said no. I was about ready to say no thanks but then he found an excuse to "call their dispatcher" which just about made my eyes roll because this is such a tired sales tactic. TLDR, they "could offer my the two stage for the price of the one stage if I get the work done tomorrow" and that if I said no they wouldn't honor the offer in the future. I said I understood and said farewell. Again, very friendly, attitude seemed good, but there were so many coincident sales tactics that took place that made me feel really uncomfortable going with them.

Excellent experience thus far for the following reasons:…read more 1. SERVICE 2. DIAGNOSTIC ANALYSIS 3. TRANSPARENCY 4. CLEAR COMMUNICATION 5. REPAIR OPTIONS WITH ELIGIBLE DISCOUNTS 6. PUNCTUALITY 7. THOROUGH EVALUATION We met with the following specialists: SEAN O'HARA (AC repair) - AC stopped emitting cool air. Fixed issue w/ filter repair. ALFRED BIRNHAUPL (AC leak repair) - Fixed pipe leak from AC and completed comprehensive assessment of our dysfunctional zoning system. DOMENICK ALONGE (project manager) - Reviewed findings from Alfred, provided detailed indication of issues and resolution options with several quotes. Here's why our experience has been superior to previous companies: All three specialists were not only punctual, friendly, and courteous, but they took their time to evaluate our issues in CLEAR layman terms corroborated by photos, and showing us exactly where the problems were in person. We previously obtained a quote from a large corporate company and was left feeling dumbfounded and stressed as they described the nature of our problem in engineering, technical jargon that made absolutely no sense, including astronomical quotes without explanation of the work entailed. We continued experiencing intermittent issues with our AC and heater so we called Friends & Family based on their excellent reviews. This time around, with Friends & Family, we left feeling knowledgeable and reassured, with reasonable quotes including various discount eligibility. We didn't feel pressured by them to choose one route vs. the other; rather, gained the information we needed to make an informed decision that would prevent such issues in the future. Overall, their attention to detail, ability to explain the issues and resolution routes in simple, concrete terms, were far superior than the preceding company. They exceeded our expectations and we much appreciated their patience and openness to answering all our questions. I also want to mention that I was gardening when SEAN was fixing our AC. He saw me struggling to dig a hole for my plant and volitionally offered to help me. He took the extra time to dig the hole for me, exemplifying his genuine kindness and generosity! Similarly, my kids were running amuck and screaming and shouting while I attempted to maintain a conversation with ALFRED. He was very understanding and continued to engage in conversation, appearing unbothered by the chaos with a pleasant disposition. Lastly, DOMENICK was appointed on the day of our son's birthday. He related to us interpersonally and even helped assemble my son's new Radio Flyer bike! I told him that Sean also helped me garden and we laughed about how Friends & Family is a "one-stop shop." Given everything I mentioned, we're excited to have our overdue AC/heater system fully repaired by Friends & Family. We can't wait for our longstanding issues to be behind us, and we anticipate leaving an updated review once the work is complete!
