Spectacular luck today stopping in on Boxing Day! I love Cole Hahn shoes and they are the only dress shoes that my adult sons can stand because they are so comfortable. I did not NEED and probably will never again need shoes, having inherited literally 100s of pairs of my late mother's prolific size 10 shoe collection. It is impressive and so fashionable like my mother herself. Lots of classic pumps, ballet flats, sky high stilettos clogs, mules, sandals in a rainbow of colors- high end designer shoes like Jimmy Choo, Manolo Blah ik,Gucci, Prada Armani, Celine and Ralph Lauren. Shoes that I would NEVER buy myself even if i could afford them. I digress, but the point is that I have shoes galore, but the Cole Hahn brand on major sale are the epitome of practical comfort and too good to pass up. I kept picking up pairs that I loved and finding that they were either in stock, able to be ordered and shipped for free AND 50% off . Shout out to super salesman Brian- who kept checking the back, finding pairs online for me. 5 pair, including the best ballet flats, red patent leather and leopard flats with a bow, black satin kitten heels and slip on sneakers. I was out the door in half an hour with a grand total of $393. Yep- less than $80 a pair for premium, practical shoes that fit my lifestyle perfectly. Time to get rid of some of the less practical pair of my mom's shoes to make room in my closet.... read more

I was in town on business and needed some black dress shoes for an event. A woman named Blanca helped me by narrowing down the choices to a couple options based on the grip of the bottom of the shoe. Very important to have grip when carrying expensive equipment. While I initially came for the dress shoes, Blanca had been so helpful I decided to ask her opinion on something more fashionable. (Me trying to be fashionable on my own is like a pig attempting algebra.) She pointed me towards the zero grands. Game changer. Light on the feet and breathable, and I've never had more guys ask me where I got my shoes. She also helped me find a good matching belt so I wasn't left with my old stale brown/beaten one. Had a great customer service experience here with Liza. It was close to closing on a weekend night and my wife and I hate being the last people in the store, but she really needed some new shoes for work. Cole Haan has the famous deal with Nike for the air insoles, so we wanted to invest in a good pair for her. Liza was very friendly and tirelessly went through styles with my girl, while keeping my pup and me engaged. Our puppy enjoyed the welcoming attitude, clean store, and small doggie treats, as well. The staff even had him try on a limited dog coat and leash that looked very dapper, even though we didn't end up purchasing the items. Of course, the shoes my wife wanted were not in stock in her store, so Liza promised to call all over the country and get back to us. She did, and we had the shoes shipped directly to our house, followed by a hand written thank you from Liza along with our receipt. This was customer service at its finest. Sales staff Sunday the 14th: On a scale of 1 to 10, a 2. "Liz" seemed to be running the store by herself. Other staff seemed juvenile and did not know their merchandise. They wouldn't validate our parking ticket. My wife has purchased handbags in the past with parking validation both times. We won't be shopping there again. read more

While visiting Carmel today, I decided to stop in to see what this place had to offer. I was looking for a pair of shoes for my wedding next month and did not really care if something was on sale or not. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a nice lady and just told her I am going to look around. As soon as I started to see something I liked, a rep, Jimmy, helped me look for the right size for me. He was able to relate to the way my foot was and made a recommendation that worked perfectly. Not only was he really a positive guy to work with, he was super prompt and very helpful throughout the sale. I will say that because of him, I will be purchasing a pair of the Neoprene Zerogrands later on. After I chose the pair I wanted to buy, Laura (i think was her name) helped me and Jimmy choose a belt that would go well with my outfit and shoes. The one I wanted was apparantly not available but after Laura did some digging, she had found out that one of letters in the product code changed and found the belt that I wanted and in the size I needed!!! Both, Laura and Jimmy, were exceptional and am happy to say that I had the pleasure of working with them. Great recommendations paired with amazing customer service is hard to find these days so being helped by these two was an experience I will not forget. read more

I got so disappointed today. Cole Haan isn't the same as it used to be, we are locals and always enjoyed to shop there but not anymore. I don't know for how long the store will stay in business with a new management , the manager Barbara was unprofessional and rude. Not sure if she knows what the customer service is.. I was there today hoping to exchange the shoes that I got as a gift. Even after reading the reviews and calling CH customer service to make sure that the size was accurate , the shoes ended up small, I'm a 8.5 and I need a 9, the shoes run half size small! I explained all this to the manager and the answer was: "I can't do anything for you. It was a final sale and I won't exchange it. It's was it's . " I was like WOW. She was nervous and kept repeating herself over and over again. I'll never ever go back to that store and will never recommend it to my friends and family. The African American salesperson was absolutely rude. I put a pair of shoes on hold from the previous day. I returned the next morning to buy them. I guess he was upset that he wouldn't be the one getting the commission and hence gave me a terrible service. His tone was very rude. I couldn't believe upscale stores like Cole Hann would hire people who treat customer that way. read more

Great service experience and great shoes! Leeza and Mary helped my wife and I and they were very competent and fun. We had a return for our son in London and they worked out how to credit his credit card. Then they showed each of us several really cool shoes, many on sale. I am a fan of this practical shoe store. I can always find classy items and they have good sales. If there is something on sale on the website and they don't have it in the store, they will order it for you and charge you the sale price.
