They tore down the old building and raised the lot due to floods but the original parking lots remain. Anyway, the building inside is beautiful, clean and very high tech. Check in was easy at the kiosk. They have plenty of seating on the 5th floor and even a coffee bar. They send you a text to meet your medical assistant at the door. They still come out and call your name. The rooms were nice and fancy with computerized signs outside the door. Very nice complex.

The doctor or nurse practitioner - whatever she is - last name Weaver - came into the room and after I said hello she responded with "you have Covid" in a monotone voice. No warmth, compassion or kindness. She told me she was sending 2 prescriptions to my pharmacy. Didn't tell me what they were or how to use them. Then she told me she would be sending me an email of something - I couldn't understand her mumbling under the mask, but I never received it. Didn't offer remedies to help me feel better. No discharge instructions. Nothing. As if I didn't feel bad enough - physically and emotionally about having Covid, this woman made me feel pretty shitty. I can't recommend this place anymore. I certainly won't be returning. I'm giving them 1 star because the front desk people and the tech that took my vitals and administered my tests were all friendly.

They make you feel welcome which I think is nice as usually urgent care centers may come across a bit rude. I have also been able to put my PCP information and they are able to view what occurred on any visit outside of their care, and I really enjoy that because I may not firsthand know what the exact prescription, if provided one.

Then they said they would refund me on my credit card for the additional payments. They thought I owed that I never approved to be charged to my card which is illegal, then they said oh we didn't charge your card. The bottom line here is they don't have their act together whatsoever they don't keep their word, and this is not when I think of when I join a Christian organization beyond disappointed.

Screenshots provided below for evidence. - Our counselor Jann Anguish was friendly and punctual, but did not adequately prepare for our initial session. Our intake paperwork was most certainly not "nearly empty." I did a word count on my entry and came up with 347 words. This count doesn't even include my girlfriend's intake paperwork. I would have added screenshots of my paperwork, but it has confidential information. - During the initial session, Jann had promised to prepare some "homework" from a premarital counseling book for us to complete. We were excited to do some "pre-work" to get the most out of our next session, but we did not receive any documents to complete. - During this first session, we also setup 3 additional appointments with Jann in November and December, but the first two (2) were cancelled via text message on the day of the appointment. I was informed when I called on 12/4/2021 that our 3rd appointment on 12/11/2021 would also be cancelled due to a "Company Event." - We were charged an additional fee ($16.83) for a 5 PM counseling session, which was not disclosed to us prior to them charging my insurance. - For the appointment on Saturday, 12/4/2021 (that was cancelled on the day-of), Kingdom Dwelling Christian Counseling tried to switch us with a new counselor. He was available in the office at 1PM, 2PM, 3PM, and 4PM, which meant that he was flexible. Due to our tight schedule in the early afternoon, I had requested 4PM, but we were told that the only availability would have been VIDEO CONFERENCE. Additionally, he likely wouldn't have been prepared for the session. Instead of paying another $100+ for a mediocre session, we decided to cut our losses. Because Mike provided incorrect information and excuses in his response, I decided to further detail my review and dropped the rating down to 1 star. Next time, try just apologizing. Good day.

I reviewed my credit card statements and found out that I have paid $1,800.00 from Jan to May. There is no way we owe Speech Emporium for $500.00 On the letter, the Speech Emporium threaten to report the unpaid bill to the collection if I don't pay by Nov 11th. This is a medical scam!

The first thing they pushed for was a Covid test even though Advil had effectively haunted the symptoms they were experiencing. No further tests were performed. Just here is a Z - pack and GOOD LUCK, "Friend". The Nurse Practitioner will give you her card and tell you to feel free to call or text her if you have any concerns or need further assistance. She won't respond if you call her.At least she didn't when we reached out several times. Fortunately we were seen by the medical staff at Memorial Hermann, because a potentially life-threatening condition was overlooked. Lesson learned: When it comes to your health don't just trust anyone - especially when their standard of care and practices are not closely monitored.
