First time coming here with friends who say this place has gone downhill over the years. $5 parking and handicap parking is not where it should be in front of the entrance. There are plenty of food places and trucks available selling everything you can think of. The crowds are not what they used to be. You can find a little bit of everything here especially Hispanic items. I would come back if looking for something in particular but not a special trip. Went out on a Saturday! Not a big crowd compare if you go on a Sunday. It was nice outside so that was a plus. It's a flea market so not the most clean place. Bathrooms and walkway needs improvement, but can't complain. Plenty of parking space. Love walking around and see what you might find. Careful with the kiddos bc they have a lot of toys lol! Pretty much ended up shopping for my son. He loves LEGO's so we had a nice chat with the seller. He was pretty cool, so stop by and check him out. He has some cool LEGO figures. The food is good. This is a place I would go if I was looking to film a movie involving a dystopian Spanish speaking enclave. In my younger years a few friends and I actually did some work on a short film we never finished at this flea market. Fun times. But back to business......I didn't find the Pearland flea market on Yelp. So I tried putting it in as a new business with the address and all. Ends up the Yelp overmind corrected me and my check in ended up being at this place with a very interesting name "Cole's antique village and market". Huh? What antiques? There's old used stuff at some stands for sale. But I wouldn't call them antiques. Well to each his own. My wife and I only make the drive out here and the long walk around this outdoor Flea Market (they have some stuff indoors too with a/c inside) to buy corn in a cup and the snow cones. Which I will correct myself because if I did not know better I would call it a snow cone. But I know better. It's called "Nieve de barril" Which translates to barrel ice cream. But it has no milk or milk substitute and it's water based shaved ice, with fruit flavor. In English it's a snow cone is what it is. They scoop it out of these ice cream tub looking things (that's where the barrel name comes from I suppose). I'm not a fan of anything else here except the snow cones and the Mexican style corn in a cup. Some of the shops have Western wear and a friend told me they sell some decent cowboy boots. I believe the thing about the boots. Several boot vendors, and a boot store or two inside the a/c'd area. There's a ton of stands with all sorts of stuff. To many for me to want to list. But, If I was rating this based exclusively on the corn and snow cones I'd be at 4 stars. I wanted to give it 2 stars, but felt that was kind of mean since I do like those two edible things readily available here. So 3 stars. This is a place I don't like spending all day at. This flea market can be kind of junky but I mean it's a flea market, so its not that surprising. Lots and lots of people selling their stock piles of soaps, make up, cleaning supplies, I even saw diapers and wipes. The only thing is they are selling it for maybe a 10% discount from what the stores are selling the stuff for. so that to me is not all that great, especially when they got some of that stuff for cents to the dollar, some even for free. My son always has a great time going booth to booth looking for random toys. Lots of booths have toys so he makes out like a fat rat because the toys are so cheap. The most expensive one was maybe $5 and that was new in the pack. Some of the toys can get pricey but they are usually the bigger items. They also have a pretty big selection of baby items like walkers, high chairs, car seats, and clothes. Some of the clothes is iffy but I have found some nice stuff with the tags still on them. My husband can spend all day looking at the cutlery that they have. Lots of knifes and swords that catch his attention. Oh and windows tinted for about $90. They won't go too dark but $90 for a crossover is a pretty good deal. They also have lots of car audio and even tires that you can purchase. We have also had good luck buying silver coins. We collect them so it's nice to have a place where we can actually see and feel the coin, can't do that with online stuff! Oh and they serve beer! My husband hates shopping but give him a little beer and hes as happy as a clam. The food is amazing here too. They serve the best Mexican hot dog Ive ever had. The aguas frescas are so good during the summer. I really enjoy coming to this flea market. read more

Vendors Cant throw trash away due to 1 vendor heavy set guy fills it up 80-90 percent of the trash is his in a larger roll back dumpster and the office has the guts to threaten the vendors about there trash what a joke. And he is the only one that gets to leave his box truck in the parking lot over night. I guess there rules don't apply to him only to everyone else. Sounds like partiality. read more

I have been fleaing for more than 30 years at Cole's. My personal review would be Cole's is the best. It's like every table is a new adventure with interesting mementos. Cole's tables remind me of the center ring at B Bailey circus. U will b impressed with the new Building at Cole's. Went today to check it out. Very disappointed at the cleanliness of many stalls. Especially one that serves fruits and Rusas at the entrance. They served the drinks in Jarros not safe for food. They didn't even clean them out and left the stickers inside. There were many stamps around the pots claiming that it wasn't safe for food consumption and they still used them!!! Going to need a food inspector to go over there. read more

Who'd have believed all this junk? Tires, blue jeans, used shoes, sugar cane, poodle puppies, fuzzy boots, socks, little plastic cars, spices, lawn furniture, socks, mirrors, bananas, flip flops, haloween masks, socks, plastic necklaces, chorizo sausage, socks, bibles, electrical cable, zippers, wrenches, farm cheese, playing cards, a toy firetruck, dog food, socks, coffee mugs, feather boas. Did I mention the socks? Cole's is a flea market with, they say, 200+ vendors. A few large, permanent ones have their own buildings. The rest are in canvas stalls with varying degrees of exposure to the weather. Most of the vendors have been in the same place for a long time, but some look like somebody has just set up a garage sale for the weekend. This is deep Mexican culture. Yesterday I saw no Anglo or Asian vendors; just one Black, and the customer base is the same. But most of vendors - the long term ones at least - speak passable English and were anxious to talk with me, hawking their wares as I wandered by. Sometimes I felt like "200 vendors, just one wholesaler." I saw the same merchandise over and over. Especially the socks; I think every fourth stall was selling socks. But then there was a lot of random stuff, too. Many of the stalls were selling a mix of new merchandise and second hand goods. Much of the new merchandise is very cheap and cheaply made, not up to dollar-store quality. I tried to buy my daughter a hair piece; it cracked in two when I tried to take it off the stand. The vendor just laughed and pointed to a whole pile of broken hair pieces. "They all do that." I wasn't shopping for truck tires, socks or used clothing. The food stalls bring me back to Cole's. Mexican cheeses, spices. Many stalls of produce. Roma tomatoes were cheap, tamarinds, mangoes and sugar cane. I got a 'personal size' watermelon for $1, chorizo sausage, some kind of orange chips that my daughters said "taste like styrofoam except they're really good." I'm surprised at what's NOT at Cole's. Other than kid's trinkets, I didn't see much jewelry for sale; I'd expect to see some turquoise, or at least metal and glass pieces, some Mexican silver, like I do at most flea markets. But not today. Cole's is a downscale market; there's nothing here for the souvenir or tourist trade. Cole's is open weekends; parking is $1 or $2. In nice weather it's a delightful way to while away an hour or two. If you're close, it's a good place to buy produce. There are a couple of small restaurants among the stalls. Took my Mom who was in from Florida expecting to find a true antique market. Not sure where these other reviewers were, but this place was very run down and not what we were expecting based on the website. Multiple appliance, tire, lawn eauipment and re-sale yard sale items. Was only $2 to park so that wasn't really a loss. Bad weather had some "booths" covered by tarps. Will not drive out there again. read more

Yes, inner-loopers - antique, vinyl, and vintage clothing shopping DOES exist off of Westheimer. If you're up for the drive, Cole's is easily among the best flea markets in town. Situated right off of the Beltway, between Southeast Houston and Pearland, this huge, open-air/indoor market is the place to find everything from knock-off name brands to old video games to furniture to weird toys to corn in a cup. A true bazaar, the shopping experience alone is worth the trip. Come hungry and enjoy a plethora of Mexican snacks, mostly sprinkled with chili powder and drenched in lime - Yum! Parking is cheap and gates open at 8am on Saturday and Sunday. Get there early before all the good stuff is gone. read more

My husband and I go to this Flea Market very often. Most of the time we go just to spend time together and see if we can find anything that is interesting or unique enough to buy, especially if the weather is nice. There are vendors who sell MAC makeup/brushes, CHI irons, video games, clothing, accessories, furniture, toys, and pretty much anything and everything you can think of. I think that it is definitely worth it to check out this place. The building in the back that houses all of the antiques is a must-see. If you are into antique furniture and trinkets, you can't go wrong visiting the many vendors inside. I definitely recommend taking a visit. read more

Terrible flea market. People here are extremely cheap when you try to sell items to people and overprice things when you try to buy. The people here basically want you to give your item away for free and when you try to work a good deal out with someone they say the price is firm. Would not recommend this flea market. read more

First time visit. We really enjoyed ourselves. Parking was only a dollar and getting in and out was easy. The first thing we did was, of course, eat and we picked the best stand in the place. We had a whole BBQ chicken, beans, rice and tortillas for only $14. The food wAs awesome! The vendors were all very friendly and helpful. This place is HUGE so bring your walking shoes. read more

Less than ZERO!!!! this place used to be the place to go but not lately. I had not been there for a few months and place has gone from bad to worse. Trash everywhere...the vendors want to sell old junk at brand new prices. Antique row inside is a joke...found a box with wood animal napkin rings..box said on outside with bright yellow sticker $5.00 for all. Man at the booth said $10.00 after I showed him the box with the yellow sticker. Man stated "oh $5.00 for the box". A green, cheap .50 or less box for $5.00??? what a greedy, cheap, lier!!!! I said keep your cheap box and your false advertising prices!!!! I'll take my good honest money to someone else who is honest. Arrived Sunday 12/6/2015 at 5:45 a.m. (called a wk. earlier and was told arrive by 6 a.m.) Paid the $2.00 vendor entrance fee and could not find a table because lot was sold out the day before (Sat. 12/5/2015) but they still accepted the $2.00 fee from me and many, many other people in cars and trucks with items to sell. When I informed them no tables were available they stated they could not refund the $2.00 entrance fee because they use the counter system for entries. I feel this is misleading the public. Prior to coming I was informed by management to arrive earlier especially on Sunday due the the crowds. Overall, the lot is trashy and very junkie; it's like being in Mexico. Trash was everywhere at 5:45 a.m. I find Cole's Management not trustworthy when they knew they were sold out and the tables were already reserved prior to paying the entry fee. The people selling and overall what one can or cannot buy is ok. My problem is with Cole's Management, not the people selling products. If one likes the overall Mexican joyful lifestyle this place is for you. Many families, kids old and young alike enjoying a Sunday out shopping and enjoying the food, this is the place for you but, they need MORE TRASH CANS. read more
