Huge indoor / outdoor flea market. Numerous food and drink vendors and resale items out the wazoo. Grab a taco and a michelada to start your hunt for whatever it is you looking to buy.

Cars are bumper to bumper trying to leave this place! Expect over an hour wait to exit!

Flea is ok...not worth the headache of trying to leave this place! Was sitting in the car for over one hour just trying to exit. For $3 a car you'd think they would have a traffic controller or something managing pedestrians and cars trying to leave. Never again!

Went out on a Saturday! Not a big crowd compare if you go on a Sunday. It was nice outside so that was a plus. It's a flea market so not the most clean place. Bathrooms and walkway needs improvement, but can't complain. Plenty of parking space. Love walking around and see what you might find. Careful with the kiddos bc they have a lot of toys lol! Pretty much ended up shopping for my son. He loves LEGO's so we had a nice chat with the seller. He was pretty cool, so stop by and check him out. He has some cool LEGO figures. The food is good. Can't go wrong with any yummy Mexican treats!!

Here we are. Why? Corn in a cup and barrel snow cones shine bright at this place. Everything else.......not so much.

This is a place I would go if I was looking to film a movie involving a dystopian Spanish speaking enclave. In my younger years a few friends and I actually did some work on a short film we never finished at this flea market. Fun times. But back to business......I didn't find the Pearland flea market on Yelp. So I tried putting it in as a new business with the address and all. Ends up the Yelp overmind corrected me and my check in ended up being at this place with a very interesting name "Cole's antique village and market". Huh? What antiques? There's old used stuff at some stands for sale. But I wouldn't call them antiques. Well to each his own. My wife and I only make the drive out here and the long walk around this outdoor Flea Market (they have some stuff indoors too with a/c inside) to buy corn in a cup and the snow cones. Which I will correct myself because if I did not know better I would call it a snow cone. But I know better. It's called "Nieve de barril" Which translates to barrel ice cream. But it has no milk or milk substitute and it's water based shaved ice, with fruit flavor. In English it's a snow cone is what it is. They scoop it out of these ice cream tub looking things (that's where the barrel name comes from I suppose). I'm not a fan of anything else here except the snow cones and the Mexican style corn in a cup. Some of the shops have Western wear and a friend told me they sell some decent cowboy boots. I believe the thing about the boots. Several boot vendors, and a boot store or two inside the a/c'd area. There's a ton of stands with all sorts of stuff. To many for me to want to list. But, If I was rating this based exclusively on the corn and snow cones I'd be at 4 stars. I wanted to give it 2 stars, but felt that was kind of mean since I do like those two edible things readily available here. So 3 stars. This is a place I don't like spending all day at. We get some corn and snow cones and walk around a bit and then we're out. Summary = Corn and snow cones. That's all you need!

Clearly says not safe for food consumption and they served drinks with fruits in them!

This is close to Salvation Army so I like to stop by after shopping. The birria tacos are 3 for $12…read moreor 4 for $15. The corn tortillas are very crispy and greasy, as expected, and the meat was very tender and cheesy. I enjoy the array of sauces and toppings that are brought out with the tacos. The restaurant is very clean and has a nice ambiance. Although this is probably controversial, I preferred the salsas to the birria consomé.

I was super excited for this one. Birrieria El Compadre has incredible reviews. And I love birria…read moretacos. So, on a Friday evening, we got takeout to give this Pearland spot a go. It's Pearland so parking won't be a problem. After perusing the menu, I couldn't say no to the pizzadilla. I'll be back to that in the moment. Service (4.5/5): Pretty much what you hope for. A seamless ordering experience, the food was ready when promised, and no issues arose. One thing I like is that they go above and beyond in providing you with extra limes, and a generous heap of onions, cilantro, and veggies. Ambiance (3/5): Pretty much a standard small Mexican taco joint. Nothing to write home about. Drinks (4.5/5): I love agua frescas and they have them here with 3-4 flavors to choose from. I went with a large pepino (cucumber) agua fresca. Delicious and refreshing. Food (3/5): This is interesting. The pizzadilla sounded amazing. Think of it as a huge quesadilla of sorts, served in a pizza box You can choose your meat. Naturally, I went with the birria which is served with a generous portion of consome. All sounds good, right? Here's where things fell apart. The quesadilla had an overwhelming amount of cheese and an underwhelming amount of birria meat. This is coming from a guy who absolutely loves cheese and feels like it makes anything better. I think this is the first time in my life I'm saying otherwise. There was so much cheese that it overpowered the dish and you could barely taste the birria. Which shouldn't be the case as the meat is the star of the show. Maybe the kitchen made a mistake. Or maybe their ratio is highly off on this dish. Either way, disappointing as I thought this spot would crush it.
