The pre planning process was extremely helpful to ensure the meal types would accommodate our wellness goals. They understood the assignment very well! One of the things that stood out for me outside of their promptness and stellar presentation of the food was they reviewed our selection and made suggestions when they felt something was too dairy heavy or something else made a better choice for the vast eating restrictions I presented them with. They excelled at the challenge presented. This is our third year using them for this event and I need to apologize for not making you aware sooner how amazing they are. This year we added breakfast and a mix and mingle in addition to lunch. EVERY meal was consistent and talked about fondly. They employ a friendly staff that ensures your event flows as intended. They adhered to the timeline perfectly. The food at any event can make or break an attendee's experience. We will definitely use them again for as many events as possible. My mother has terminal cancer and we ended up having to get married a year earlier than we planned so we were stressing about finding a venue that could put together our dream wedding in 5 months. We almost settled and gave up on that dream wedding until we found The Cotton Gin. I still have no idea how they pulled it off so seamlessly. The Cotton Gin went above and beyond to make the whole day smooth for both my mom and us. When they say "all inclusive" they mean it. I did not lift a single finger for coordinating vendors, stressing about timing, or anything that usually causes stress for brides. I was calm the whole day and if any anxiety arose at any point in the process, the staff reassured me and was proactive in accommodating anything I needed. The owner Amanda is a creative genius and you can tell she loves what she does. Her goal is to give all brides a dream wedding that fits their budget. You can tell that she put careful thought into choosing staff that has the same passion and vision. Truly I feel like I made bonds with the staff that will last a life time. All of my guests gave extremely positive feedback about their experience! Also, the food was literally a 5 star dining experience. I am going to be craving their salmon and stuffed mushrooms for the rest of my life. I wish I could get married to my husband again and again so I can give The Cotton Gin more of my business!!

They literally took care of everything it seemed. Lots of places to take pictures. We had beef mashed potatoes and asparagus, which came out temperature hot and well seasoned. But the best part was it was one stop shopping. Joanne helped her plan everything - DJ, florist, cake, signage, bar... you name it, she provided and she was very fair with her pricing. Virtually a one stop shop - Stress reducer for sure!…read more Upon meeting with Joanne for our tour, we fell in love with the facility. They do a great job of helping you set expectations, and they handle basically everything except for a photographer and your favors. They are incredibly kind. Being a same sex couple we did not know what to expect. The Conservatory did an amazing job of treating us like everyone else, even going as far as editing their forms to groom/groom. We were treated like any other opposite sex couple and to us, that meant more than anything. They are clear and concise in what is included, what it will cost and there are NO surprises at the end. They made our day special. We were not rushed the day of, and the coordinators took special care of my husband and I as well as our family. If you're going in not sure what to expect, or if you know exactly what you want, the people here are amazing. They also provide the catering, and the food was top notch. The service provided was excellent. They sent us with lovely to go boxes of food, and a bottle of the delicious champagne from our toast.

You walk right by where the reception is to the get to the grassy area below where the ceremony was. Afterwards, it is a short walk back up the hill to the reception area. This area is covered in case of rain, so have no fear. It is outdoors and had a nice breeze. There is also a fireplace for those cold nights as well. The dance floor is huge and there are many photo opps around the property, that you are welcome to roam. They let you use your own vendors that come onsite from what the bride and groom told us.

The upstairs is a super open floor plan with rooms off to the side. This was ideal as the Bride and Groom had their personal areas which were hugeeeeeee. As they were getting ready the open area was equipped with a portable bar and multiple hi-top tables. Omg! It was so cute. We were able to mingle and take pictures as we awaited the specified time to move to the downstairs area. Once downstairs, the room is hugeeeeeeee. It was perfectly decorated and afforded a sense of style, elegance and amazing ambiance. Once the guests were seated, the bride and groom began to walk down the stairs. When I tell you this room was MADE for such an entrance as this, it was spot on. There is a bar to the front and the main area is a blank canvas which allows you to set it up how you would like. Brea had it sit with a sit down eating space and a dance floor towards the back area. Based on my experience at Venue 92, it has been added to my venue list as the options of use for this space seem endless.
