More importantly, the person I dealt with took time, had patience, shared helpful information about the job and helped me choose a frame that looked good and complimented the painting's colors. When I got it home, my spouse thought the framing actually enhanced the painting. You know, you sort of take a chance with a first framing job. You wonder how it will turn out. All I can say is I was entirely satisfied and I wouldn't hesitate to bring other work to be framed.

The most recent experience with Seven Arts deserves special recognition. An error in frame ordering delayed the arrival of the frame. However, upon learning of this, the group called me to explain what had happened and apologize for the error. When the project was completed, the owner learned that I was working all day and wouldn't be able to make it to the store to pick up the finished product, so he personally delivered it to me at work. I've had some collectible print materials framed, and she immediately recommended the anti-UV glass to prevent fading - something I might not have thought of had I done it myself. One of her most impressive projects was framing a silk print, suspending it between two sheets of glass so that both sides can be viewed by flipping it over and rehanging. If you haven't seen her videos on how to hang framed items on the wall, check them out. Very good practical advice, and I learned that I had been routinely hanging items too high (that's the problem with being tall) for many years.
