The moving crew smacked one of my couches into my siding and damaged it. They said they would hire someone to fix it. They tried to back out and offer me $40 instead of repairing, but I insisted that they provide the repairs. Well the gong show they sent to fix it was comical. They removed it, bashed it back out and touched it up with a magic marker. If the one worker didn't look so inappropriate, I would have asked them to improve the touch up , but at that point I just wanted them off my property. I thought the worst was behind me, then my wife sat on the couch several weeks later and noticed the arm rest was completely shattered. I contacted Leon the franchise owner, and he basically said that this couldn't have been due to the collision with my siding, without even giving me the courtesy of coming out to have a look at the damage. Anyhow, make sure you check all your items out before you sign anything post move , no matter how sorry you feel for the workers who are forced to work upwards of 6hrs without a break. If I could give a zero I would. we We're impressed when we called in the morning and they set up an appointment between 2 - 4 the same afternoon. Unfortunately no one showed up between 2 and 4. So I called the office at 4:15. They confirmed our appointment and I was put on hold briefly so the office could call there drivers. I was then told I would get a phone call in the next 10 minutes with an expected arrival time. At 5:00 I called again since I didn't receive a call. I was again put on hold for the office to check on the status. After a few minutes I was advised that there was a "glitch" in their system and that the office in Edmonton was closed and i would have to reschedule. I put aside all the things I wanted to do that afternoon so I could be home for the appointment and wasted 3 1/2 hours of my day. read more

You guys were great! Totally made the move alot less stressful. Staff were professional and so courteous. I also noticed how well they worked together and treated each other! At the first estimate visit I had thought that there would be 4 movers and that Leon was also coming as an extra to just make sure that things went smoothly. There were 3 movers and Leon who then quickly had to be one of the 4 and he certainly hauled his share! Lol! Upon payment - we had both totally forgotten about my deposit but this was quickly brought to my attention a few days later and I will be receiving the refund cheque for that in the mail. The level of service we received was amazing. Leon kept us informed of what we could expect every second of the way and we liked how he checked in with us in the days leading up to our move. I'm very satisfied with College Hunks! They're super easy to book a service with. I booked online and received a confirmation call shortly after. The best part is that I was able to book a service for the next day!! I asked them to remove and dispose of a mattress and box spring for me. Leon and his team are not only very professional, but they operate a very green business. Most of your garbage can and will be recycled when picked up by College Hunks. They donate to help employ those who have disabilities. My daughter is one of them. She has been gainfully employed for over 3 years mostly thanks to College Hunks.
