Then I called Monument Worx in Houston and requested his estimate of engraving my father's headstone, I could'nt believe it when he said $300 to engrave, and said weather permitting he would get to it the next week. That was on a Wednesday and he called me 2 days later, on Friday and said he just wanted to let me know he was already there at the cemetery about to start working on the headstone. I made sure he understood and saw in-person what was needed and asked him if he still wanted to proceed before work started. Several times after agreeing on the scope of work and payment Eric seemed to want to change what was agreed on. (payment and work) Micro-managing Eric was exhausting. End result was not what I had repeatedly told Eric. I had marked specific broken bricks for him and they did not get replaced. I told Eric to please match the caulking color. I asked him several times if he would have any issues doing any of these things and he repeatedly said he wouldn't. In the end I paid the full $950 for the work done.
