That means that it is too big for its own good. Walking in you can visibly see that there is not enough stock to fill the shelves. I don't know if they are setting this store up for closure or they just decided that less stock was better. However, I did end up purchasing a pair of shoes from here nonetheless. After finding them I browsed a bit more, but that didn't take long since, like I just stated, there wasn't much stock to look over. Customer service was kind of amazing when I interacted with the staff. They were helpful and courteous. And if the store is about to close, they did not let on that this was the case.

Used to think it was just the "poor college kid" treatment but even as middle aged person they still give you the you should appreciate us approach. A decent selection of outdoor clothing, a much smaller selection of ski boots and ski than I recall. They also resell LL Bean items. Footwear associates were quick to offer assistance. When checking out, be prepared to pay a premium to the local shopping experience and the tacky "who assisted you?" obviously for a commission credit is uncomfortable!

As I was shopping around for the shoes I had to make conversation to the associates and there was one helping me while the other two stood there staring at me. Manager #1 told me this was "normal" wear and tear. Really, after 6 days of use! Manager#1 got me Manager #2. Manager#2 told me the mark was from the treadmill belt. Really, on the inside of my left. I would have to walk quite strangely in order to have caused this mark. Then Manager#2 told me that it was not a defect. Well, I agree with that one anyway. I am more inclined to believe the mark occurred during the production process then by my mere 6 days of use. They did not care and would not do anything. So, I will be telling everyone I meet about this experience and will not recommend this store to anyone that asks me about my shoes.

However, I recently made purchases that earned me $60.00 in Kohls cash. Previously you were able to use the cash 10 days after the expiration. My expiration date was 6/29/25. On the morning of 6/30/25 I tried to order $90.00 worth of rugs using my earned cash and was told I couldn't use it because they changed the policy. I plan to return all items, buy them again during Kohls cash days, get my rugs and cut up that card and never shop there again. I won't be surprised if they go out of business. Their customer service and Kohls cash policies are not helping them get business.
