I reached out to call the shop a couple days to confirm my appointment, since we traveled from out of state to be with family. I called during work hours and was never able to get someone to answer the phone. The answering message said to text, so I did. (It's the owner's iPhone - not even a business phone). She answered and confirmed my appointment immediately. I had a weird feeling about this appointment for the next couple of days, since I had seen several previous reviews stating she kept rescheduling appointments, only to never see the client. Morning of my appointment and she reached out saying she needed to reschedule my appointment. We were disappointed to say the least.

They told us over the phone that they were not busy and would prioritize Devo's care, so we made the difficult decision to head over there to say goodbye. We believed she had passed on the car ride over, but when we arrived they took her to the back and Dr. Echevarria came to us and said she had a faint heartbeat. We said we wanted to hold her while she passed, and Dr. Echevarria proceeded to disappear for 15 minutes, leaving us in a room while our dog passed alone without us by her side. While this was happening, we were obviously very distressed, asking every employee we saw what was going on and where our dog was. When we finally saw Dr. Echevarria, we asked for our dog so we could hold her, she told us very rudely "we have other patients" and turned away. I cannot believe how heartless and uncompassionate these people are here. I would NEVER ever ever step foot in this place if you are in the vulnerable position of having your dog be at the end of their life. Dr. Echevarria stole our dog from us, stole that moment of being with her as she passed from us, then was rude to us on top of it. Her staff was apologizing to us for her attitude, blaming it on her having worked a long shift, but there is no excuse for what she did to us and our precious dog. She didn't even deserve to have touched my precious baby, let alone keep her from us when she needed us most. I will forever remember this doctor as being one of the most evil people I have ever encountered. DO NOT GO NEAR THIS PLACE.

But here we are. From the moment I walked in, the staff operated like a well-rehearsed pit crew--efficient, friendly, and reassuring without overdoing it. There's a calm professionalism in the air that makes you feel like you're in very capable hands (and not about to be launched into orbit... probably). And then there's Zahra--the MRI professional who deserves her own spotlight. If there were an Employee of the Month (EOM) hall of fame, she'd already have a reserved parking space. Clear instructions, great energy, and just the right amount of humor to make the whole process smooth and surprisingly pleasant. I only found out after a recent visit and not until after when insurance settled and they wanted the remainder due, I found then the credit was applied. I called them twice to alert and politely complain about them having my $$ for 2 years. No explanation other than it was applied to your bill. Good customer service would have returned my money long ago. I wonder how many others are due money and have no clue. I'll choose others for service going forward.

Surely one of the very worst aspects of falling ill is the possibility of having to engage with…read morethis organization. Getting an appointment is difficult because it requires app access and their app is flawed. Why don't they collect specimens on weekends port after 5? Creepy waiting rooms. Poor to non-existent phone access. Feels like being in a dystopian scifi movie when I arrive at the site and must engage with the robot check-in podium. Some staff project a warm, kindly spirit but most act like machine components. Maybe I'd overlook all of that but they don't consistently deliver reports. I trust my doctor but not these people.
