I'm in Midland, almost every weekend and sometimes even more and I have never gone to the Georgian Bakery, I know how could I miss out!! After reading what David has to say about "Simply THE BEST jelly doughnuts" I knew I had to come and try them as I'm a huge jelly doughnut fan, I wasn't disappointed!!!! They are sooo damn good!!!! I like this place. It's homestyle and unassuming. It focuses on delivering a good product. The shop has a large yellow sign and it's on the main drag, so you can't miss it. You'll be greeted with a giant window display of a variety of treats, which make it difficult to select just one! The shop contains room for standing and all the space is used to display the goods. Staff were quick and friendly. When I arrived, I stood by the window and felt like I was in baked goods heaven! I debated for an absurdly long time but finally settled on the apple danish and it did not disappoint! This was not the most fancy danish I'd ever seen but it was good. There were savoury and sweet treats and some lunch style offerings - something for everyone. My danish contained ample filling and the pastry ripped apart in an airy and delightful manner. My pastry could have been split between twp people and only cost two bucks after tax. I've got my eye on a few other goodies, so I'll be back. read more

Yummy and sweet, but the salami and pickle sandwich on fresh bread is fantastic. Ask for whole wheat if they are making fresh. read more

Had a yummy coconut cream pie from this bakery. Too bad the shop doesn't have tables or even a counter, or I might have had a sandwich too.

We have not been back to the bakery since they sold to new owners, basically just a donut shopped

They have amazing service and amazing treats, bread, and cookies. I always go when I'm around this area. Not much explaining is needed!

I love this place. I like getting fresh buns here on a weekly basis! I am a big fan of the chocolate chip cookie, however, I didn't really care for them as they seemed a bit sugary. read more

Simply THE BEST jelly doughnuts I've ever eaten, jammed full of jelly and coated in real sugar, not that icing sugar crap. Our friend picks up a dozen when he visits us in Fenelon Falls, saves us a trip. Wish they were closer.... the pounds would stat to stack on. read more
