Our Model Y got rear ended a few months ago and we reached out to Collision Restoration as they are a Tesla certified service center. The staff were so wonderful, professional, honest and very accommodative. They made the rental process so easy too and had someone meet me right in their office and pick up the rental. Our car was returned earlier than the promised time and it was in great shape. The trunk had a crack inside which they claimed was an error on the their part during the repair. They were so upfront and honest about it and ordered the part to fix it for free. Our car looks brand new and I am honest when I say they went over and beyond. BEWARE!!! In my opinion, this is not a 5 star place. I brought my new car in for a quote, and was told it was going to be around $5000. They planned on taking the car apart and repainting what needed to be done. Luckily, the owner was there and came out and told me that they can do something called Paintless dent repair. That will make the car look almost perfect while keeping all the original parts and paint. After traveling over 60 miles for our scheduled repair and renting a car, Glenn looked at the vehicle and said he could not do the repair. He said it was impossible. He said it would have to be the $5000 job. I reminded him that the owner, Eddie, said they can do it. Glenn replied that "Eddie does not know what he is talking about". Also, Nicole at the front desk was rude when we walked in, for no apparent reason. She made us feel very uncomfortable. Afterwards, I called Union Collision to do the painless dent repair and the car looks beautiful. They completed this job within a day while Glenn said he needed 2 days. Realistically speaking, my experience proves that Union Collision has the talent to complete a job that Collision Restoration could not complete. I can't rave about Collision Restoration ("CR") enough -but I will try my best!  The coolest, classiest and most talented staff I have ever encountered in an auto repair experience. My 2020 Tesla Model 3 sustained noticeable right rear damage to the quarter panel, the lift gate, the bumper, and had some broken indicator lights. I found CR through my own Google search after being dissatisfied with a handful of other Tesla recommendations. I was treated by the other referral shops like a meal ticket. From my first visit at CR I met the lovely Nikki who calmed me instantly of any anxiety and gave me a simple and straight forward approach to restoring my vehicle to new condition. AND then I met the amazing Ed who came to check on me while I was parked with my damaged car at his lot after hours. He was so genuine and compassionate without being aware that I already met with Nikki and decided CR was my place. Next day all went as planned and to my delight Nikki and John directly assisted me with my insurance claim immediately arranged for a loaner at the time of drop off the following day. Nikki also assisted me with lingering purchase agreement issues from my recent purchase of the car, and had the 3-month long issue resolved within 24 hours. Collision Restoration: they make the process easy, they're professional, straight forward and just really nice people I got into a couple accidents a few months ago within days of each other. It's just been really hectic so it took awhile for me to start the repairs and initiate the whole insurance process. I really wasn't looking forward to dealing with it and going through the hassle of working with insurance companies and autobody shops. I have to say, working with Eric Veit has been great! He was very fast and efficient in assessing the damages, provided real estimate of when it'll get done n when he was at the shop or not, and he was very patient. As I'm sure I've talked too much n asked a lot of stupid questions. On the personal side, he's genuinely a very nice guy. He didn't blow me off or make me wait on the phone when I called, and he didn't play any games. He listened to my concerns and really took care of me/my car. He didn't need me or the insurance company to have things written down to check things out. As an Asian woman who has no idea of mechanics or how insurances work, he was very straight forward and just really nice. You can tell he's on the table and legit. He coordinated the rental car with Hertz right next door - guys there were really friendly too, no hassles. They literally picked me up when I could have walked the 10 steps. All I had to do was sign the papers to get the work started. Anyway, the restoration work that was performed on the truck looks flawless. Everything looks great-maybe better! I have no complaints whatsoever with the work that was done on my car. To top it off, he left a small bottle of paint so I could touch up the other scratches that were not part of the damages/accident. AND, when I picked up my truck, it was spotless! It was completely detailed! You have no idea how cruddy and dirty and smelly the inside of my truck was. I had baked on dirt n juice n crumbs everywhere! Eric had my truck detailed! Unfortunately, I have had to use this auto body shop 3 times within the last year. despite my run of bad luck, I'm so glad I found this shop. Upon entering the office, the staff immediately makes you feel like family. They are friendly, welcoming and very attentive. They make a very upsetting situation as easy as it can get. Shortly after my first accident, I had reported the details to my insurance company and they referred me to Collision Restorations. Upon my arrival, They had a file already made for me and information already entered into the computer. The process to estimate the damages started right away with very little to do on my part. The staff was very accommodating and set up the appointment for repairs within a day. They also lent me a car to use while mine was being repaired. The repairs were done promptly and just perfect. My car was pretty messy and dirty when I dropped it off- and it was immaculate when they returned it to me- a very nice surprise! I also had some unrelated damage that they fixed at a reasonable price. I had noticed a mirror control button wasn't quite right and brought the car back MANY months later- they promptly fixed it PLUS an unrelated issue with no charge. I highly recommend this business. Dropped the car off, they arranged a rental, that was ready @ 730am. 5 days later they called, the car was ready. They returned the rental car for me & I drove away in my beautifully repaired car. It really was THAT easy. But the best part was, besides repairing the damage, PERFECTLY. The car was completely detailed inside and out. In the non-damaged areas, they returned it BETTER THAN BEFORE. Please Read whole review! 10/10 would recommend to friend, family, even strangers. I've had a lot of bad luck over the last 2 years. I've been rear ended about 5 times never my fault. Once so badly that the car was totaled. I've also been to various shops over these years. Getting your car fixed is a hassle. You have to deal with the insurance company then the rental car agency then call the shop over and over to get updates. Then find out its going to take longer cause they're missing parts etc etc. However Collision restoration was great and there were none of these problem. I looked at the one review it had before choosing the shop and I'm surprised there aren't more. It has a Ma and Pa feel to it and as soon as you pull in you can tell they're very busy. They weren't able to take my car in for 2 weeks. However Nicole checked in with me twice before my appointment once to make sure I remembered the appointment and once to double check if I needed a rental. The day I brought my car in they let me know it would be done by Wednesday (2 day turn around). I was skeptical I even asked if she meant next week. But lo and behold Wednesday I received a Text AND a Call from Nicole letting me know my car was ready to be picked up. When I said I don't get out of work till late, Nicole asked if I could get there by 6pm. 2 Hours after close! Sadly I don't get out of work until 6pm so there was no way for me to get it but the offer itself says a lot. The pick up was simple I paid my deductible and walked out to my car... WHICH WAS IMMACULATELY CLEAN. Wheels, dash, rear seat, trunk. Everything was clean and the work itself was great. The only thing I wish I DID was ask if I could pay out of pocket for a touch up on a couple of scratches from a flying license plate. Side note: there's a hertz right next door. Easily The Best Body Shop! I was t-boned in one accident, Collision Restoration was a preferred shop for both my insurance and the other party who hit me. They were able to make an estimate and schedule the repair quickly and easily. I was involved in another accident before that scheduled repair that left my vehicle undrivable. Nicole took care of the tow truck that was called in by the State Trooper, set up a rental at the Hertz next door and stayed late to get my car brought to the shop immediately. They took care of the different insurers for the two different accidents, including splitting the rental car between the two. The work done on all the damage was excellent, there was a clear attention to detail in identifying all the damaged areas even the less obvious. They even replaced the wind deflector, put on new paint and head light rock blocker that I had installed aftermarket when the car was new. As well as replacing the tint strip on the windshield that was replaced. The car drove perfectly and looked great. There was one thing that was missed, the windshield washer tank had a crack where it was not visible. It was near the top and I didn't even know about it until I filled the tank all the way to the top. When I called they were immediately apologetic, told me to come in whenever worked for me, and took only a few minutes to identify the issue. They ordered the replacement tank which came in a day or two later, and then just few minutes to fix. They didn't try to make any excuses or push it off, they just handled it professionally and straight forward with apologies. The only thing that removed a star was that the repairs did take longer than I was originally told and the ready by date was pushed back several times. Once by a winter storm which was perfectly understandable, but the other delays were not identified. They gave me their best estimate but it was missed multiple times. While temporarily frustrating and concerned about rental car coverage - the end result which is permanent - my repaired vehicle was exceptional. I was hesitant to even take a star off at all, but wanted an honest review. I can see why both insurance companies have them as a preferred shop, if I have an unfortunate need for a shop again, they are definitely my preferred shop. read more

The people there were extremely friendly and they worked out the best deal for my car. I even had a small dent in the side and they covered it for free. They made sure they brought in the best in the business to fix the dent. When I saw my car again, it was good as new. If there were any minor issues following the main repairs, they quickly assessed and took care of the issues without any fuss. I bought a car that has paint scratches/imperfections on its side, front bumper & the rear bumper that is really messed up. To be presentable, I decided to have it fixed up with out of my pocket expense. I am a walk in customer after a coworker recommended Collision Restorations and reading all the reviews on this website. So off I go and met with John. I explained what I want done on my car. He gave me quote after 1 day which did not include the scratches that I pointed out so I emailed again to make sure. "Does the estimate include a new OEM rear cover, compounding & touch up around the car, compounding scratch on left door side, compounding & touch up of front cover." John said yes. I kept all the communication emails. So I dropped off my car & after a week picked it up. I got really frustrated about the workmanship. The rear bumper was replaced but there are scratches next to the joining seam. On the wheel well bend, a screw is exposed because they ripped the felt like covering mat'l, there's paint build up and a crooked steel portion that was not corrected. You know what the worst part is, the scratches around the body were touched up by hand, they were not even buffed. The front bumper with all the scratches, they were not even touched. The missing 2 spots of paint on the front bumper were done by hand, a 7 year old could have done a better job. There's blob of paint build up around it. Missed a few spots that John attended to but still by hand without even wiping off the pollen & dust on the spot.Shitty job all in all. I'm contemplating getting in touch with the BBB. After our car was hit from behind my insurance company sent me a list of auto body repair shops to choose from. I like to deal with family run places and after looking at all the wonderful reviews for Collision Restoration I went with them. Brought the car in for an estimate. Whole process took about 15 minutes. Once they got the ok from the insurance company I dropped off the car and they went to work. I received email updates daily on the progress and even some text messages when there was going to be a bit of a delay on when the car would be ready. They called me on the promised date to arrange for me to pick it up. When my wife and I arrived they showed us the car and what was done. Everything looked great. The car had been washed and the interior was vacuumed. There was even a pile of money (coins and $1 bills) in the center console that they found when cleaning the floor mats. We had come in just before they closed so the owner Eddie sat with us in the office and chatted for a bit about how great the car (Lexus) is. The office staff was great. Everyone was friendly and helpful. You can tell they really care about their customers. So glad we chose this place. read more

The owner refused to assist when the car was there and now has the nerve to say my review is not accurate! Even the adjuster at Liberty Mutual said their performance was well below their acceptable standards and the owner would have to retrain their employees or they would be forced to pull the business from them. In addition to the car smelling from paint for weeks the spare tire was loose and bouncing around under the car. This operation is the worst and most irresponsible. They have no respect for your personal property and even damaged my cargo cover. You have to be crazy to trust them with your car. read more
