You never want to have to repair your car after whatever accident you might have. However, if you do, I recommend C & L Auto Body. When you walk in you're greeted immediately by very friendly agents. After telling them what happened, the manager or someone its authority comes to your car and immediately goes over what has to be done to your car. CnL.. can't and lost. Buyer beware. Tired to pick up my truck that had a rear bumper repaired. Bumper was installed almost an inch out of even with the truck and was presented as completed. Second try. Must have actually looked at it and adjusted the bumper. At second pick up attempt found drivers door jam/rocket panel covered in shoe marks of mud. Now rocker panel has scratches. Windshield also caked with bondo dust. If you care about your vehicle take it some where else! read more

So far my experience has been terrible. It has started in Washington with a nice guy named Doc. I have no complaints there's. I was initially told it would be 2 weeks. I wasn't that happy with the answer but you have to do what you have to do. So i arrange for rides and I wait. April 29th I drop off the car. May 4th i get a message that the car has moved onto the next stage. Great. May 10th i get a text that the car has moved onto the next stage. Perfect. May 17th I text to ask if the car will be done. They text back saying no that it won't be done until the end of the week. I call my insurance to see what is going on. She speaks to c & l and they tell her they have not even started the painting process and they need a few more days. When 7 days prior i got a text stating the car would be in the paint booth that day. So instead of calling so i can make arrangements they just don't say anything and had no plan to say anything until i reached out. I've hit a wall with them, my business is mobile and I need my car. Today i check the estimator and they added 6 more days. Bringing the total time with my car to a month no one reached out, no one offered to fix their mistake or do their due diligence by putting me in a rental NOTHING. I get it, things are busy. But communicate with your customer, be transparent with your customer. I'm a business owner and service provider myself, things happen, but when you have someone's 2nd largest purchase in your possession for a month the least us consumers expect is communication so we can plan accordingly. I haven't been able to work for over a week because of this. read more

My car was side swiped by a neighbor so it needed repairs. I thought I was bringing my car to Coury's which was the old name of this auto body repair shop. when I arrived, I was informed that it was under new ownership and was now called C&L Body Shop. I continued on with their service since I was already there and figured I would try it out. I have to say the office manager was great, and the repairs seem good so far BUT the carelessness of the mechanics is unfathomable. I found several pieces of debris left in the car which I can get past. what I CAN NOT forgive is the sharp razor blade that was so carelessly left behind. I am very grateful that I found this and not one of children. read more

Let me start by saying the customer service at the front desk is amazing. Very professional and courteous. Unfortunately that's the only nice thing I can say. I brought my car in for damage to the side of my car and they had it for two weeks. (No complaints there). I brought the car in with working blinkers, working heat and working butt warmer. Now none of that is working. If it was just my blinkers I would say it's a coincidence but all three things no way. I was told to call my insurance company and deal with it. read more

I was referred to C and L by Geico as part of their insurance program. I accepted as it was convenient to be able to drop off car, get estimate, and get rental all at the same location, and have payment handled internally so I didn't have to spend a lot of time going back and forth. To be clear: the work done on my car was NOT done by C and L, but by whomever they use externally to do paintless dent removal. I brought in my car, which had been absolutely obliterated by squirrels and acorns, to have approximately 47 dents removed. They had the car for 4 and a half business days, during which I can't even imagine how much time the PDR guy spent on it. Came to pick up the car and there was no sign of even a single dent. Amazing work. Car looks the way it looked before those demon rodents destroyed it. The only thing C and L did themselves was remove my headliner so the PDR guy could work on the roof of the car. I docked a star because the quality control after putting it back was a little lacking: molding on both sides of the car were not seated properly on pickup. As a positive I came back in and they resolved the issue within 5 minutes. Honestly, I love my car a ridiculous amount and am anal about everything looking right otherwise I very well may not have even noticed in a timely manner. Front desk staff is amazing: friendly and on top of their game. Ann Marie was my contact for Geico and she was likewise friendly and on top of things. I've honestly never seen a body shop like this one. It's enormous, with a HUGE indoor garage area. Waiting area looks like a business rather than like an afterthought as it is with many autobody shops. In fact, the whole place was run like a business - a really refreshing experience compared to many other local shops. Thanks guys for getting my baby back on the road! read more

Never again I wouldn't take my bicycle here. They completed a bumper damaged to rear of truck blinkers didn't work the rectify that after having to come back and then my power seats didn't work mirrors didn't work and to this day to power seat some of the function still at work ever since they touch the computer system. The paint job. I have asked him several times to repair the paint job that came out horrible after several visits and nothing occurring I was told that they don't do Lamborghini work here this is a high-volume shop. I was also told that someone will contact me to let me know if they can further look into the terrible paint job. haven't heard back. probably never will. it's been over a month And they have the nerve to charge $6700 to repair a bumper to the insurance company. read more

Very nice shop Rep shop for Geico. And the set up is better than any I've seen ever. When you walk in the lobby your greeted with friendly folks. The paper work was painless and very little. There is a Enterprise office within the shop, so you can get your rental right there and drive away with it. The bathroom is the best looking auto body shop bathroom I've ever been in. Made Magee scared to use it. Lol. Better bathroom than in a hotel lol. They got in touch with me by phone the next day to explain every thing that needed to be replaced. Also emailed the photos to me with the estimate and when it should be ready. The did the job and it was done correctly the first time. I am happy I went with them to get this job done. read more

STAY AWAY FROM this place. I had an incident where my car broke down on route 10 right in front of TGIF on 7/25/20 and the racist truck driver (Chris) as soon as he showed up had an attitude. And to make matters worst he took my debit card and dropped it to the cracked of his tow truck and told me that he couldn't get it out unless I gave him a Philip screwdriver, which I did then he changed his mind and drove off with my card. Smh. You can't make this shit up. And when I called the manager (Bob) to explain how shitty the customer service was, he was as rude as his tow truck driver Chris. Cause he didn't think that it was a good idea to apologize for his nut case driver's behavior but instead think it would be great to let me know that Chris is his top driver. The nerve... The front desk staff are very courteous and extremely cordial. Thats the only thing good I can say about this place. They took the car in for minor side swipe damage. No updates for almost a week then when we called they said that they will speak to insurance company and that insurance will contact us. The insurance company called us and told us that they will pay us the car's worth as repairs may be more expensive than the car's value but didn't tell us why. Then we call the shop and they tell us they took the entire side apart as the ins co required that but were unable to put everything back in in a safe manner and that some of the parts may be broken in the process. The ins co then called and advised that they can give us a tow + money. We asked that they at least put back whatever they can but they refused to do it because they didn't want to spend the time. Please do not make the mistake of taking your vehicle here unless you want it back in pieces! read more

Ok where do I begin....car had been hit while parked at St Barnabus so that was bad side.they left the scean and left us with a bill. Then took it to C +L to get an estimate...all nice good then car got hit on the other side omg added to the orginal estimate.car fixed one side only aferr being in the shop for 4 days...they forgot the other side but i paid for both ..i asked for a rental since their error...No ok but we can drop u off and pick u up...not what i wanted ..the drop off was great to my dads but they did not have a driver for the pick up..omg rwally thanks to my 91 year old dad that had to pick me up.....next the right blinker did not work 2 times after this I had to go back not I am sorry let me help you..never again C&L see you later .. read more

I would not recommend this auto shop. The excuses they give you for fixing your car is just unbelievable. Everything that can go wrong will. Got my car back after two months and had to take it back to be fixed again. Everything was off and paint job was horrible too. Took car back and they said pick up the next day, and a week and half later still at the shop with more issues that apparently I did. Had to take the car to a different shop to be fix the right way. read more

I was referred to C&L Auto Body by Geico as part of their "trusted insurance program" where the shops are "held to the highest industry standards". I accepted as it was convenient to be able to drop off my car, get an estimate, and get a rental all at the same location. My car and repairs: 2014 Mazda3 needed front bumper, grille, left headlight and smaller components behind the bumper replaced due to a fender bender. The experience of dropping the car off and getting into the rental was pleasant as the Geico adjuster (Annemarie Budesheim), C&L Auto Body and Enterprise reps were all accommodating and made the process in the morning very swift by having the paperwork and the rental car ready upon my arrival. The issues started when I requested my adjuster for a quote to have all OEM parts installed because Geico only covers and recommends the shops to use aftermarket parts, she responded by saying "I will have to ask C&L Auto Body to get you the quote", I never received the quote and the work started immediately after receiving the initial quote for aftermarket parts from the Geico adjuster. I let that slide as I would be responsible for the difference in the cost for the OEM parts and the shop/Geico warranty all the work/parts for the lifetime of the car as long as I own it.  I got a call from my adjuster when the car was ready for pick up, I informed her that I would be there in the next hour or so, she replied by telling me that she will have the shop keep my car ready for pick up (it was not ready for pick up when I arrived). When I arrived, no one there recognized me or immediately asked me for assistance (including my adjuster), after waiting for a few minutes, I was helped through the payment process and they called for my car. This is where things get interesting, after getting into my car I realize the cables I had slightly hanging from behind the rear view mirror for the dashcam and radar detector were pulled out from being tucked in the roof lining and hanging down my center counsel (because I took my equipment with me as they are not liable for any property left in the car). They had no business touching anything inside the cabin as all work was being done on the outside. Bear with me, it get better, as soon as I turned on my car I noticed a rumbling sound and I knew immediately something was not right. The sound continued as I was driving back to work and became prominent every time I accelerated, I knew it was related to the intake or exhaust as I have heard the sound before. I started by inspecting the engine bay and noticed my air intake filter box was completely open, hanging off the intake hose and resting on the air filter (the source of the rumbling sound). When I confronted the shop about their negligence and why they would touch the air intake which was well behind all the damage, all they had to say was "we had to open it to get to the headlight and we are extremely sorry for forgetting to close it" (I really don't think it is necessary to touch the air intake to get to the headlight if you are going to be pulling the whole front end of the car out, but I could be wrong).   This shop clearly lacks the attention to detail, leaving something so clearly visible open makes me wonder what else they could have neglected under all the body panels. This review clearly shows how little importance the Insurance companies and the auto body shops they "hold to high standards" really care about customer service and customer property. I understand this review was not only for C&L Auto Body, but also for Geico, I needed to share the all details as they work together and hence my two star rating for the combined experience with both parties. P.S. The paint job on the aftermarket bumper matches my car but the fitting is a little off and easily noticeable to a trained eye, I would recommend paying the difference and getting OEM parts installed if you really care about the aesthetics and have a nice car. Geico adjuster explained to me that if the parts don't fit well they would push for OEM parts (clearly not the case here and another thing for me to bicker about). read more

Decided to allow progressive to pick the body shop to fix my car this past July. The repairs to the damage was done nicely. The paint job however was poor. They didn't bother to blend the paint which left my car two toned. If this was my auto shop I'd be embarrassed to leave a car painted in that condition. The car previously had no chips or dings on the doors. When I got the car back.. My handles where chipped and scratched. But the worst part was when I caught a flat tire and realized that the auto shop stole the foam piece from the trunk containing the jack and lift. Contacted the auto body shop and never heard back. How does a huge piece of foam and tools disappear? In my opinion, this shop does shady work. Definitely would not allow progressive to choose a repair shop again nor would I recommend this place. read more

I came in because of a minor accident. Because C&L was listed as one of GEICO's preferred workshops for an accident, I came in here. My car had a minor damage and they did an amazing job with the paint, body work and cleaning up my car inside and out. My car looked like it was brand new and did not get into an accident at all. Service at the reception was prompt and friendly. However, I had knocked 3 stars off because my Sennheiser earphones were missing. I will advice you to take your valuables out of the car or out of sight before dropping it off here. read more

They painted my car with bad bad quality, absolutely unacceptable. So I talked to their super and asked them to repaint it. They promised me they would get a rental car ready for me and cover the expense (for sure they should since all were caused by them). Then when I take my car there everything changed. They refused to pay my rental car and asked me to reschedule AGAIN! Totally a waste of time and gas. Can't believe they are a certified GEICO auto body. SUCKS. read more

My experience with C & L has been unlike that of any previous body shops that I have had before. I had originally had C & L do repair work on my bumper after it became dislodged a few years ago and they did a fine job then. Then more recently, I accidentally touched that bumper to the curb which dislodged some of the clips they had put in. Remembering how nice the my experience with them was, I went back to C & L and within a short amount of time, CJ and Mike came out, re-secured the bumper and sent me on my way. I could not recommend a shop any more highly than C & L and this includes the staff at the front desk as well as the rest of the environment. P.S. Even in the event that someone has to wait, C & L has an excellent selection of magazines. In summary, C & L has succeeded in making what could be a very unpleasant experience, pleasant, and that is quite a feat!! read more

Most people arrive at C & L not by choice it seems. I however chose C & L for my car's work to fix door dings and scratches because of their quality work and knowledgable, experienced staff. Rickey remembered my car from the same fix-up last year. Good and quick availability of appointments.Tania is always attentive and competent besides being very nice. I called the local Enterprise to arrange for my rental for this work and as people have said, it is easy, the car is delivered there, prices are fair. In reading the negative reviews I realize most people go here not by choice but because of unplanned damage-an unfortunate event-and are already upset before they get there. The insurance is paying for the rental but it seems labor time prediction is still an issue. I prefer my car to be perfect rather than their estimate of the time it will take to make sure it is. They estimated 5 days but kept mine over the weekend which I appreciated as it gave the paint extra time to set. I do not think what they do is a science, it is an "get in and see how it goes, order parts, etc. then do our best." Their work is superior and I am very pleased with the customer service. I was sent updates until the end when judging paint drying is obviously a factor. I will return because unfortunately people are careless in opening doors and pulling into parking spots. There is nothing careless about the way C & L is managed and run. I was referred to this Body shop by Geico after being rear ended in an accident. The experience here was amazing. At first I just went for the appraisal of damages, but then decided to have my repairs done there as well. Everyone at the shop is super friendly and knowledgeable. The damages were going to take a while to repair, so I was given a rental car from Enterprise. Everything happens at the body shop which is super convenient! You don't have to worry about transportation because the whole process gets you covered. Unfortunately I can't comment on the actual work as my car was later assessed as a total loss but I do def recommend this place based on customer service and attentiveness! They were fantastic. My car looks new. The paint work is incredible. The repairs were thorough and on time! Customer service from the front desk to the repair person was top notch. Polite. Pleasant. Prompt. PERFECT Then, when I had what was likely an unrelated issue with a fuse blowing... I went back and they took care of it for free! I even offered to pay and they said no need. WHO DOES THAT?!? I was in an accident with a careless Geico insured driver. Geico insurance was great and they highly recommended C&L Autobody. C&L is a class act! They took less than a week to return my Infiniti back to nearly new. Everyone that works there is friendly including the Geico adjuster! When I got my car back there were a few little issues that they fixed no questions asked. I had an issue with the brakes after the accident and even though it was more of a Geico issue than theirs, they listened to my concerns and bled the lines. This is my second experience with C&L Auto Body and both have been incredibly good. The first was in March when GEICO suggested them for a repair to my wife's Subaru Outback after another car broadsided it in a nearby mall. The repair was made quickly, to a very high standard and the GEICO claim and necessary Enterprise Rental Car process (since the car was needed for 4 days) was seamless and very pleasant. While I was there, I couldn't help but notice the size of the operation and the variety cars in the workshop. I counted 2 air controlled paint booths, among the facilities. Told them that if I ever needed another body shop repair to a car, I'd come back. Note: I've had a less than professional experience in February when my classic Audi was totaled by my insurance company after an unfortunate experience with black ice on a local, untreated state controlled road. The competitive in-town shop was extremely week in returning phone calls, etc. and the car was deemed a total economic loss (since the repair was greater than the book value), even though the automobile was in excellent condition. Fast forward to this past week when a friend's classic CL550 (2009) with only 6,000 miles was involved with a very slow speed fender bender with a well worn Acura TLX. When I brought the car into C&L, Luigi Santonocito (the manager) took a look at the various black marks on the pearl white coupe front right bumper and said that I should come back the next day when I was back in the area and he'd see if could be 'buffed out'. He was hopeful but we'd still "just have to see." I returned 24 hours later and after less than an hour in their shop - to my relief and surprise - all of the black marks were gone! The bumper looked brand new and even the slight scratch on the Xenon headlamp lens cover was professionally removed as well. The cost was more than reasonable - Luigi refused to accept any payment since it was such an easy job (and probably because I had been there with another car less than 60 days earlier) and simply asked that I give something to the 'detail man', which I gladly did! Can't believe how lucky I was this time around for two reasons: (1) Not only did I find out that the black marks were caused completely by the tire's sidewall of the other car, but the complete lack of any tell tale paint marks or physical damage to my car's bumper or bodywork clearly indicated that the other car's bodywork was untouched by my car at all and that the damage seen on the other car was preexisting. Luigi offered to give this information to my insurance company, if necessary. (2) But I was also so fortunate to find a local body shop that not only is professional in attitude but also in their actual ability to repair damaged vehicles. I could not be any more pleased with the entire experience. read more

This establishment has, hands down, the worst customer service and communication skills I have ever encountered. I brought my car in for an "expedited" repair on Saturday, 11/16 after being rear ended by a Geico customer. I was told that it would take 5 days and to expect to have it back by Friday, 11/22. I called on Thursday, 11/21 and was told it would be ready on Friday. I called again on Friday and was told they ran into some complications, so it would now be ready Monday, 11/25. I called yesterday and was told it was still not ready and the manager promised me it would be ready today, 11/26. Note that in all of these instances, I was the one reaching out to inquire about the status - no one contacted me. I called again this morning and was told that they could not confirm what time it would be done, but that it would definitely be ready for pickup today. I just received a phone call saying it will now not be ready until tomorrow. We are going on 11+ calendar days on a 5 day repair and at this point I am under no illusions of having the car back until after the upcoming holiday weekend. While I understand that things can happen to delay the process, it is unacceptable to provide an estimated date of completion then renege on it three times in a row, and more than that, have an attitude that the customer just has to accept it. I will not be returning. read more

The repair was not only slow, but riddled with errors. Do yourself a favor and avoid C&L! I won't bore you with ALL the details, but after C&L 'repaired' my Jeep Commander, I quickly started noticing things that weren't right, the most serious (I hope at least, could be other things I don't know about yet) of which was that they installed the WRONG size axle on my front left wheel and also botched the hub bearing on that wheel. This led to a squeak from the front end as well as a lot of road noise at higher speeds. When I told C&L something wasn't right, they pretty much blew me off and said that I needed to get new brakes and/or new tires to fix the issue. Turns out I didn't need either of those things, I just needed a legit shop to install the correct axle and a functional hub bearing. Luckily, Geico still paid for the additional $1100 in repairs my Jeep needed at the second shop I took my vehicle to after C&L just wouldn't help. Fifty days after the accident I finally have my Jeep back in good working condition, but only after a second shop was able to fix the errors C&L made. C&L sucks, steer clear. read more

The employees are great at the front desk, but here is your warning. my car was hit by another car and went there to have them fix it. It took a little longer then I expected, but I understand the issues. Once the car was done, I went there and picked it up. I did not notice any thing wrong until I stopped at a light and lifted my arm rest. My throwing knife was stolen along with 4 country cd's. I called the manager and she told me she was sorry and would get back to me. 3 weeks later, no calls. The next day my wife was driving behind me and called me to ask why my muffler was bobbing. They never secured the muffler back in place and the decals were never put on as well. So I took it back to the shop and showed them what was wrong. It took them another couple of days to fix it. When I got my car back I looked around to make sure nothing else was stolen and long and behold, all my coins were taken from my changes cup except for the pennies. Moral of the story, they have thieves that work there and if you plan on bringing your vehicle there, you better remove all of your valuable because its not safe when you have thieves working at a shop who are desperate for your belongings.
