Let me explain why my experience here was traumatizing. I visited this chiropractor because the previous one I went to didn't help me at all and charged me $200 for nothing. Since this place had some excellent reviews, I decided to try it. I have been struggling with a pinched nerve for quite some time, and during my first visit, they asked me to get an X-ray done. However, since they are closed on weekends, I had to wait until the next business day. Finally, Monday arrived, and the doctor explained my situation. She used some machines to loosen up the muscles around my back and neck. Afterward, she cracked my mid-back, which sent a shocking sensation down my arm and worsened my situation. Initially, I had minor pinched nerve pain, but after that pop, the pain escalated to 10 on the pain scale. It was my first and last time there.

I was cajoled into agreeing to see Jules, which I did, motivated by the desire to honor my promise to my Jules-enthusiast acquaintances as well as by persistent ulcerative colitis symptoms that had emerged despite my extant medication regimen and my attempts to follow the instructions of my gastroenterologist to "stop being so stressed out." I might have been willing to make a deal with the devil whilst using crystals and dream-catchers and doing asanas so, why not try acupuncture? I'd never tried acupuncture before, so was uncertain what to expect. Jules was thorough and attentive--carefully taking my medical history and inquiring about symptoms and functioning. As a Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner, some of her questions were atypical for a Western medical setting. The needling itself was not particularly painful, although aware of my newbie status, Jules was vigilant about checking in about pain and sensations. Over the course of treatment, Jules has remained attentive, concerned, and accommodating. She seems to truly view me as the expert on my body. She listens and offers recommendations (e.g., dietary changes, relaxation techniques, herbs), though certainly not in a dogmatic way. From the beginning I have been impressed by her knowledge and noticed that she will seek additional information if she is unfamiliar with something. For me, acupuncture has been incredibly relaxing. I actually leave her office much less cynical and skeptical and ride the F train home like I weren't the hardened native New Yorker that I am. Acupuncture seems to have cured the day-to-day aches and pains that accrue. It also improved my colitis symptoms. Jules was not averse to my continued use of Western medical doctors and herself discussed the collaboration of East and West. So I would say that with acupuncture and moxa, a new gastro doc, and a tweaking of my meds, I feel much better. I highly recommend Jules, including if you're a skeptical newbie. PS-I malign Whole Foods, but I actually like it. Kinda. Love-hate.

After the first session, my skin was visibility firmer and plump. This is a treatment where you see the best progress 3-4 weeks after the initial treatment because it takes time for the collagen to build. Morpheus8 is a combination of microneedling and radio frequency, so it's very important that you go to a skilled practitioner in a very clean environment. This place is the real deal. They have the brand name Morephus8 machine, everything is sterilized and all the tips are medically packaged to ensure cleanliness. After I met with 2 other plastic surgeons and was so glad I did. Both spent way more time with me. I wound up with the 3rd. The second kept trying to push HIS vision on me. The 3rd really took the time with me to discuss what I want, my expectations and what works best with my body. Dr Greenberg may be good for you, he didn't work for me. Shop around it's your body. But what followed was the most chaotic, unprofessional, and disappointing experience I've ever had with any medical office. When I decided not to go through with the surgery, I was told I could use my deposit toward Botox or injectables. Then I was told I couldn't. Then I was told I could again. Total inconsistency, but I still went ahead with treatment because I trusted the office to honor what they promised. That was my mistake. Dr. Greenberg performed my Botox--and it was by far the worst I've ever received. He did no assessment of my facial expressions, didn't ask me to raise my brows or frown--he just injected quickly, without precision or care. Two weeks later, I had no results--I could fully move my forehead, and my 11s were just as visible as before. I've gotten Botox many times and know what effective treatment feels like. This wasn't it. I came back for a touch-up, and again, the injector missed the mark. My 11s were still there, my forehead still moved, and nothing about my expression was softened. I called again and was told to come back once more for correction. This time, the injector told me that I couldn't be injected in a certain area of my forehead or I'd risk a droopy lid. I understand there are specific areas that should be avoided--but I wasn't asking to be injected there. I was asking for my 11 lines to be treated. She insisted she couldn't do it, and I've never once been told that before by any trained injector. It was confusing and made me seriously question their knowledge of proper technique and anatomy. At that point, I asked for a refund. The office manager came in and agreed to process it. I was told I'd get a receipt by text, and the money would hit my account in 2-3 days. That was over a week ago. I received no receipt. No confirmation. No call back. I've followed up via text, phone, and email, and have been completely ignored. I now had to dispute the charge with my bank just to try and recover my money. And still--no one from this office has followed up or tried to make this right. This practice is a mess. The service is subpar. The communication is careless. And the entire experience has been stressful, disorganized, and disappointing from beginning to end. I will never return, and I highly recommend others think twice before trusting your money, your time, or your face to this office.
