Their phone system is a nightmare. Getting to a human is near impossible and when you do they put you on hold you never hear a voice again. The Doc's are excellent but the business practices and office competency leaves a lot to be desired. read more

Their billing department is so incompetent and non responsive. You are almost guaranteed to be left with problems about either medical codes or your insurance claims submission. After six months that I visited their office, they finally submitted claims to my insurance company with requested medical records. When asked, the billing team had the audacity to say they have up to a year to submit. Terrible experience through and through. read more

You should avoid this so-called center, because it's a place you go to died if you're scheduled to see most of their PAs at the center! Always schedule to see a doctor ONLY, especially Dr. Gill. The so-called staff/employees are worthless! They never answer the telephone, they sit around gossiping and socializing. For example, for a week and half, called and called the center to schedule a follow-up. But when someone did answer my phone call, I was told someone would call me back in 24 hrs to 48 hrs. WTH Why couldn't I schedule an appointment at the time my phone was answered? Guess what no one from the never called me back. So, called the center again and the same happened again!!! If you want the following, this place is for you: appears to be setup for high volume; very difficult to see a doctor; procedure day you will feel like cattle being whisked in and out of your slots next to the patients being lined up (assembly line); nurse looking like she feels frazzled at 9am and was unable to find vein; told that the app/portal is the only way to get your test results and after five phone calls still unable to access the portal; the feeling that you are being milked for money; after weeks you still don't have results; phone calls from staff regarding results are incorrect (I felt that was a scare tactic to get me to come back in for a followup); I'm goin to find another place if I need more work done. read more

I have called 4 times today with no answer to speak to someone regarding a procedure and why the location has be changed from the office where I had my last procedure to the hospital. I have waited each time at minimum 10 minutes! Recording "All our Receptionist are currently assisting other patients please stay on the line for the next available receptionist. Your call will be answered in order it was received" It's in a loop none stop. It's nearly impossible to get through to anyone at this office every time I try and call! Dr. Gil was good and the office has a device that can be used instead of having a liver biopsy for NAFLD/NASH. When I was a patient, Dietitian Amy Johnson was knowledgeable and helpful with a diet and exercise plan. With her support, I no longer have liver disease. Unfortunately, Amy Johnson no longer works at this practice. As noted in other reviews, the front office is lacking. I called repeatedly to get test results sent to my primary doctor. In the end, it was faster to go there in person. read more

Terribly run office. My first appt, they failed to put me in the computer, so I had to take a 2nd day off work for a reschedule. Then, the MD required a release from my primary doctor in order to do the procedure, which was fine. But then, my primary MD faxed the release twice, but I subsequently can't get anyone to call me to set up the procedure. I called their appointment line a bunch, where I get put on hold for 10 minutes, only to be sent to a voicemail that is never returned. I even left a voicemail for the office manager, which also didn't get returned. I attempted to contact them through the patient portal and guess what? No answer. The doctor(s) might be fine. Feel free to use them if you can get through and don't mind being blown off. This is a great example of how bad our healthcare can be. I have already used two days of leave for this goat rope, and now I have to start over with a different office. read more

I was schedule to have a colonoscopy through this group (won't name the doctor). Plenvu was prescribed as the Prep - after 5 sips had an allergic reaction (throat started to itch, tongue felt like it was swelling, and breathing slowed). I do have allergies to certain nuts and fruits which I reported on my information sheet - connected - I don't know - but reaction felt similar. Called the on-call physician who told me to stop drinking it and to take a couple Benadryl and he would cancel the procedure scheduled for the next morning. Luckily reaction stopped. Called the next morning to make sure procedure had been cancelled. Was put on hold for 10 minutes and finally was able to leave a voice mail message. Noone ever returned my call. It's been over 2 weeks - have heard nothing. Noone called to check to see how I was doing, no one called to reschedule - as far as they know I could have died from anaphylactic shock. I highly do not recommend this practice. I will be going somewhere else. read more

Avoid them like the plague! They charged my insurance but didn't help me. They wrote a bad prescription and won't answer the phone. I've called 30 times over 4 weeks and tried all the phone options including leaving messages and they won't answer the phone or return my messages. Worst customer service I've ever had! read more

For the last 2 months, I have been leaving messages for the billing department and the office manager regarding a refund due to me. My insurance recognized a processing error which resulted in them paying too little on my claim so they made a 2nd payment to the doctor (Colon, Stomach and Liver/Loudoun Endoscopy). I paid my balance before the 2nd insurance payment was received by the practice, so they owe me a $688 refund. No one at this practice responds to messages left or emails. COVID-19 should no longer be an excuse for lack of due diligence. I would not recommend this practice to anyone. read more

Group unable to recognize critical short fuse issues! Run away fast from this place!!!! Was scheduled with PA who dealt what was easiest for her. Not my whole issue. The medicine sample she gave left me feeling like I had vertigo. I left her a message that she didn't respond to for 4 days. Where that's not unreasonable typically, I went there because the issue indirectly affected my breathing due to a surgical problem and 4 days had me in extreme distress. A doctor would have realized this. There's no communications between PA & doctors in this practice. Look at the other reviews. Consistent theme here. I have now gone elsewhere & am satisfied with treatment from that doctor's swift course of action. This place is slow, off target with PAs doing office visits & doctors doing the procedures. I was diagnosed with a life altering illness. Dr. Desta, as you may know is very busy and booked out in advance, however, when she received my lab/ultrasound back, I was called right in. She explained everything to me. She answered every question for me. I apologize to the patient after me because Dr. Desta took the time to walk me through what to expect and when. After being admitted to the hospital, it was recommended that I see Dr. Desta as soon as possible once I was released. The office was very accommodating to get me in. Once I had my appointment, Dr. Desta was very thorough with questions, wanted to hear what happened, and offered her professional opinion. I would give zero star if I could. I don't bother reviewing unless I'm extremely impressed or extremely disappointed. This practice clearly falls under extreme disappointment! They took money from my insurance fund yet sent me 3 invoices telling me the insurance didn't pay, charges weren't covered and what not?! See the picture I attached, for example, which clearly shows they charged aetna for my visit AND made me pay too. As you know it's hard to know what's covered and what's not so I assumed people were doing their job right and ended up overpaying. They were supposed to have some of my money back a few months back but nothing so far. Billing is the least of the problem here folks, Dr Gill was the worst physician I've ever come across. I have been dealing with practice for a while. Some of the staff is nice but one staff and it is Dr coleen Nappi. Second time seeing her and she rather acted a little rude in response to my question of the burning and agitation. I am rather a little bit of a obese person but she kept going at the ideology of changing my diet as if I was not aware. I have had hemroidal issue for a very long time regardless of changing my diet due to surgeries and heavy ibuprofen doses due to an illiterate doctor and now after a third surgery with a much more nowledgeable doctor. I would give this place a zero stars after today and even on day one I went to see Dr colleen nappi another staff was on the other side and gave me such a nasty look. I feel very demeaned by these people never ever go to this place. Only front desk people are nice. read more

Subpar healthcare treatment. The nurse practitioners who field the patients before being seen by a doctor for a procedure, obviously are not given enough time to meet with patients. Been dealing with this practice now for a few months and I've noticed a clear sign of miscommunication. When results are in a nurse will call you with the bare-bones basics. I have found that this practice does not take the time to look at the broad scope of the issues, rather they just look to seek basic information then "refer" you out. Funny thing is though, they can't give referrals. It's a constant back and forth with multiple co-pays and little to no information. This practice I believe makes there money by constantly billing your insurance company, not finding the issues and helping. Insurance fraud at its finest! read more

DR. Gill and his PA and NP are a disgrace to the medical profession. Dr Gill has the bedside manner of a limp noodle. His PA ordered a medication for IBS, and never discussed the side effects or questioned whether is drug was appropriate or not. And it was not! read more

Do NOT go here. They work with out-of-network medical billing scammer, and only when you show up for your procedure will you be told that they are using an out-of-network provider for anesthesia. Then they will give you a contract to sign saying you, the Patient, will NOT BE BILLED for the out-of-network doctor. Only later YOU WILL BE BILLED for the FULL AMOUNT of INFLATED BILL from the Anesthesia department. This is a SCAM!!! The doctors get a kick back. Avoid. I have absolutely no complaints about the doctors or the nursing staff. Wonderful care, but whoever I saw from the billing dept (unfortunately, I didn't get her name), was the rudest and most condescending person I have encountered in awhile. I received a bill from them that I knew wasn't correct, so I waited for it to come again to see if the correction would be on it. When it wasn't, I went in to talk to her. First off, she got upset when I asked her if we could go into an office because I didn't want to discuss my "business" at the front counter. Then after finally getting the bill correct (and she was rude through the whole process), I asked her if she could send me another bill with the corrected info on it and her response was "sure, I can send you another bill, we have already waited 2 months for you to pay" By her own admission, if I had paid the bill when I first got it, I would have overpaid!! Besides her rudeness, the whole billing process just wasn't right. I had made a payment when the procedure was completed and that didn't show up anywhere on my bill. So, great place to have a procedure done (I would give them 5 stars), but watch out for the billing dept (they are the reason for the one star). read more
