Genuinely the best Indian food I've ever had in my life. We just ordered a bunch of stuff, from…read moresamosas and butter chicken to kabab and broccoli salad. Absolutely nothing we didn't love! Service was also fantastic! I noticed they're super intentional about allergies and brought out an entire tablet for my friend to cross-reference with the menu.

I'm probably going to get some hate for this but I only thought our meal was ok…read more Which bummed me out because I've been dying to try this place for years! We started with some yummy cocktails and the okra fries which were delicious - if only okra always tasted this good. For mains, we shared the chicken tikka, black daal, paneer and garlic naan. Pretty standard Indian order. The chicken tikka was just too spicy and we weren't used to that so it went mainly eaten. My favorite was the black daal but again, it wasn't so amazing that I would go and have it again. Honestly the best dish we had was dessert - the basmati kheer is a perfect rice pudding with crème brûlée like topping. So good. Service was spotty, I constantly found myself trying to find our server or make eye contact with him. They were slammed on a Tuesday night (which I'm sure is the case every night) so that's probably just the way things are but it could've been better. Disappointed but willing to try again, also made me want to try some other Indian spots in London next.

The cafe is super cute in Covent Garden. We were seated quickly at a small table and given a complementary cup of fresh popcorn. Jessi Juan, our server, was attentive and friendly. We ordered a glass of wine and a beer. The menu is fairly simple, steaks and sides. Other steak and wine specials are listed on a board. Steaks start at £15 and sides are £4-5. Food comes out super quick. My husband and I had Flat Iron steaks and shared sides of Roasted Aubergine, Tomatoes and Mozzarella and Bone Marrow Mash. I also ordered the Bearnaise sauce to compliment my steak. Everything tasted excellent. My husband LOVED the Bone Marrow Mash potatoes with fried onion bits. I loved the aubergine. You receive a token for a complementary ice cream cone, which you pick up when you leave. The ice cream is topped with chocolate powder. The free cone is delicious and a nice touch. I'd return, heck, I'd even stand in line.

So, we knew better this time and made a reservation. Highly recommend making one before coming here. The ambiance is a Very cool, trendy vibe. Once seated, they put seasoned popcorn on the table while you wait. Here's what we ordered: - Truffles Mac and Cheese - Crispy Bone Marrow Garlic Mash - Wagyu cuts of the day: Fore Fillet and sirloin - Salted caramel ice cream with original beans Virunga chocolate shavings Everything was exceptional from making the reservation, the wait to be seated, the service, to the free ice cream. Highly recommend!

They ushered us to a table right away, and we enjoyed paging through the many menu options. Service was friendly and professional. Our cosmos were perfect, and my salad nicouse was tasty. My husband's pesto pasta looked delicious too. Brightly lit and open, with nice decor, many people had stopped in for tea and dessert, but several were enjoying their many pasta choices. We will definitely be back since my husband's mille-feuille dessert filled with custard was terrific.

The pastry display in the front window was impressive enough to attract me...after being seated and looking over the menu, I knew we had made a good choice. Staff were professional and friendly. The food well prepared and well presented. The nicely decorated interior was pleasant and amazingly quiet. They have a full bar, and we had a Cosmo while we looked over the menu. I loved my Spaghetti Pesto with mushrooms (3 types!), and my wife enjoyed her Salmon Nicoise salad. For desert, we shared a Mille-fueille and it was as good as it had looked in the window display! Reasonable prices, attentive staff and wonderful food made for a great meal.
