We've been coming to Kerriidges since it opened before COVID. In fair I wrote the very first review of this lovely spot of the well known Tom Kerridges. Of course he no longer cooks here but over the years has trained his staff to definitely deliver a fine product. Last night was no exception. Started with an array of excellent cocktails in the restaurant before dinner. When it was time to sit down, we were shown to a very nice large round table booth for the six of us. Everybody was really comfortable and gave us a chance to view out towards the rest of the restaurant - a really nice table. When I looked at the menu this time, I saw some old favorites and of course, some new dishes. They all had a sense of the old meaning the traditional, Tom, carriages type menu and a few that were missing sad but true, but gave me a chance and the rest of the group to try some new things I would say the food was a five everything was really really quite well. I would say the only missed step that kept me from giving the overall reading to five was a service. It wasn't bad. It just wasn't typical carriages restaurant that we were used to. Let me explain - almost all the other times the spirit was very attentive. They anticipated things we needed checked in on us several times really were thoughtful about the way they were serving us. And it's not that we got bad service it's just that we didn't get any attention and it's really a little ironic that the restaurant really wasn't very crowded last night for Wednesday. Don't know what happened. I'm sure it was a fluke and it wouldn't keep me from coming again as I said we really like this restaurant and I believe you should try it if you haven't already it's a winner.

Classy, gorgeous place for drinks and/or dinner. Great ambience, service, and the cocktails and food are incredibly well executed. We lucked into a spot for drinks on a Thursday at 5, then stayed for dinner. Everything was delicious and I can't wait to return.

Kerridges Bar and Grill was not an intended stop. It was the stop on our trek to the London Eye on the hottest day of the year (at that point in time). It was here where we almost turned back. It was here where we recouped, strengthened, and rallied. The heat truly was brutal. We ducked into the bar which did have this old world feel - high vaulted fluted ceilings, large pillars with marble bases, and a mosaic tiled floor made it feel old. Daylight streamed in but cast odd shadows and the yellow light from the light bulbs mixed with the daylight clashed a bit. Our waiter was very prompt with our initial order and one refill and then we never saw him again. For all I know he could have melted. The drinks were stellar and the service was very polite taking pity on us running from the sun. I quickly drank a couple glasses of water while in between drinks. It was a nice oasis.

Haven't taken a sip from the champagne.

I give it 3 because it's standard and priced premium. The Sunday beef was over cooked and the potatoes had been sitting in the window far too long. The wine by the glass was insulting, both in price and pour. And patrons were wearing short pants - so obviously no dress code, thus another reason just not worth the price. You could have this Sunday lunch or dinner anywhere in the UK for much less.

Went to the Kerridges in Harrods. Fish and chips were delightful... light flaky and delicious haddock served with tartar and curry sauce.

When we first walked into Kerridges I was thinking I might have made a mistake in making this reservation. It felt a little stuffy, older world bankers vibe. It was anything but. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable and I wouldn't change a thing. My husband and I shared an appetizer of mushroom risotto. We were both thinking "I should have gotten my own". While it sounds like something you might see on any menu at a restaurant it is something special here. My main course was the Home Farm Lamb Rump and Belly, Stuffed Red Pepper, Courgette and Goat's Cheese. It was wonderful. I rarely eat everything on my plate but I did this time. My husband had an upscale version of Fish and Chips that he also loved. Although we were both full, we opted to share a dessert because they all sounded so good. We had the for the Dark Chocolate Pudding with Crystallised Malt Biscuit, Salted Caramel and Malted Milk Ice Cream. We loved that too but agreed the ice cream was the best thing on that plate. This is a pricey restaurant but worth every quid. Everything at Kerridges was top notch.

The basement has a bar, lounge and restaurant. It was a little noisy. But we could still talk. The roasted scallops were cooked perfectly. The green sauce was tasty. I love the presentation. The Bill Marrow was also good. It was very rich. There were two kinds of Sunday roast a sirloin and a rump. Three of us had the rump roast dinner and three had the sirloin roast dinner. It was hard to tell the difference. All the dinners came with roasted potatoes greens and of course, Yorkshire pudding. It was all delicious. I have to say my favorite part is always the Yorkshire pudding. I also have a green salad, which is basically just lettuce with a light dressing. It was very fresh. We were too full for dessert. The service was excellent. We were seated right away and given water. In the UK, you can order sparkling, still or tap. Sparkling and still come with a charge. Tap is usually free. Our server was attentive without hovering. It's a good idea to make reservations at Hawksmoor especially for the Sunday roast. We got there at three by the time we left around 4:30 some of the roasts were already sold out. Just a note: Sunday roost is usually a late lunch not a dinner. It's good to go between two and four especially if you don't have a reservation.

We dropped by at 5:30pm hoping to be able to eat early, but were told no because they're fully booked all night. I made a reservation back on September 19th, and the best time I could get was 9:30pm. This is the oldest restaurant in London since 1798! I love the old decor and red. Everyone here is dressed up in high heels and lots of the men were in suits. Up first, I had a £18 Espresso Martini! Wow, some of the strongest espresso tasting Martini of all time. If you like thay strong taste you'll love this espresso martini. Next, £8.95 Heritage tomato salad, basil, pickled red onion & toasted pine nuts. Super solid. For the entree we split the £53.50 per person Roast rib of beef for two. The superstar item was for sure the house made horseradish sauce. I could have eaten the sauce all night. We liked the meat too. It came out a perfect medium for us. At the end of the meal they brought me ice cream for my birthday!

It was not a cheap meal, but you're paying for the ambiance, which can be described as museum-like with royal embellishments. There are so many things to look at, from James Bond's seat to the Downton Abbey section. The service was great, and our waitress was entertaining as well as insightful. She even showed us around, pointing out the wall art and other notable items. I'd recommend coming here for a special occasion while in London, it's truly a gem of an experience.

Minced Beef & Onion: The most popular, apparently. Smooth and moist inside with a buttery flaky outside. Steak & Stout: Same great crust, but with a very distinctive inside, chunks of firm roast and thick gravy where you could actually taste the stout. Probably my favorite pie here. Chicken & Mushroom: A nice variation from beef, but by no means lesser. With it's large chunks and umami gravy, this was like a quick hit fix for when craving a proper chicken pot pie. Mash & Gravy: The mash was smooth and buttery. The gravy was more than plentiful. Kinda lives under the shadow of the delicious pies though. Sticky Toffee Pudding: Good, but not great. The toffee sauce felt a bit too thick and wasn't as warmed as I like it. The sponge cake was alright, but kinda dry, like they just plopped into the toffee sauce puddle. But it did do a good job of soaking up the sauce with a little spoon dexterity.

The toffee sauce is so comforting and rich, the cake was so moist, and it was perfectly balanced with the ice cream. Didn't detect any dates, maybe they were too finely chopped.
