With PCP I had Dr. Nicole Munshower, in Yorktown, always brush off my symptoms and tell me that my day-to-day lifestyle was what was always wrong, even when I would do everything she suggested. I recently switched PCPs due to this to Dr. Latisha Murray she listened to what I had to say more when I had my appointment in early December, 2024, but I have not received any follow-up from that appointment even after calling, leaving voicemails, and messages. For OBGYNs it has not been much better unfortunately. My first doctor in this department was not bad, it is just unfortunate that so many birth controls are under researched before put on market. The Nurse Practitioner I saw next, Isabelle Smoot, belittled my experiences on different birth controls and opinions as someone who stays educated. I told her what I was not okay with after doing my own research and she kept pushing those options including giving me pamphlets. I looked back on the visit notes and it was written down wrong what symptoms I was having, reported what I was saying in response wrong, and it stated that I had a physical exam that day which I did not. Along with all these problems with the staff, my medical history is reported in-correcting and most documentation is often not correct either.

He made no apology for being late and after the appointment when I mentioned he became upset and obviously frustrated. He adamantly stated that all his patients are treated with care. I agreed I just stated that he wasn't on time. Why schedule an appointment if you, the doctor isn't professional enough to arrive on time.

Since my insurance company does not cover this type of service I was looking for a reasonable deal for my molds. The out of pocket cost was reasonable and I expect my ear monitors will be completed soon. The molds were mailed to another company that specializes in stage monitors for musicians. Take note the office closes during lunch and the door is locked. I would highly recommend this audiologists for ear molds.

When they contacted me about the deposit, they failed to tell me there is a 3% fee on Visa charges and they don't take American express or MasterCard, leaving me at check in without cash to avoid fees and only a MasterCard to pay with. We tried the mastercard anyway as that accepted if for the copay via online checkin. I was charged a $5.00 fee and if the deposit is not used and they send me a refund, they don't credit the fee back to you. What I didn't like was that they weren't 100% up front about the deposit and credit card fees/policy when I scheduled the appointment leaving me unprepared. Had I known this sooner I may have chosen another practice.

Every visit I have had here has been absolutely wonderful. I seldom have to wait beyond the scheduled time for my appointment, and, when the appointment does begin, the staff are courteous, caring, and attentive to what I am physically feeling. The women working in the optical division of the Eye Center are nothing short of wonderful, as well (my particular experience has been with Emily, whom I would credit for ensuring that I do not prematurely develop blindness). I tend to be very critical of doctors (medical jargon doesn't impress me, in the words of Julia Sugarbaker), and I've never had anything but wonderful experiences here. If your insurance covers the Eye Center, I would heartily encourage you to go. The facility is lovely and maintained impeccably, and the staff and doctors are a delight.

My old Eye Doctor back in my hometown only had 1 person working in the office. It always seemed that I was in and out quickly. There are 3 providers that I know of here. I lost count of the number of people working in this business, this just needlessly drives up the cost of care in my opinion. My primary issue is I was careless and let the provider prescribe a contact lens that did not work correctly. I made contact and was told they would order a trial lens and call me back for another fitting That was months ago and I still have not heard back. I'm not going back, and it's a shame because this clinic is almost within walking distance from my home.

I've not met anyone or been to the other facilities, but have spoken on the phone with many of them due to my job and anyone I've talked to has always been helpful and extra friendly.
