Never helped with my hearing loss, ear canal issue or even discussed a plan to address of help even after I blacked out from vertigo and had trip to emergency room. After seeing them since October and having repeated a hearing test cause they wanted "their own" performed they never actually did anything to help me, 15 min to 25 minute office visists with less that 5 minutes with the Dr., doing the same thing over and over again like it was a first vist or something. Last appointment I cancelled because it felt like more of the same. Never getting any where just repeat, repeat, repeat....copay copay copay. Probably a better experience if you are 65+ because then they can milk the Government.

The woman in the office was extremely rude and then told me it was already taken, so I scheduled another day. They then called me back to take the previous slot (hmmm, they had an opening?). Dr. Burton was wonderful. I got my hearing aids and have had so much trouble with them. One aid wouldn't charge. They ordered me a new charger. 2 weeks go by. I call them. They had it, and they claimed they called and left a voice message. Nope. Didn't happen. Same problem. They wouldn't charge. I then left my aids with them for repair. Again, weeks go by. I call them. They sent them to Gloucester. They claimed same thing again. Nope. No message. And of course the Gloucester office is rarely open. I even asked them to call my wife JUST in case my phone suddenly had a problem. Nope. They didn't do that either. In total, FOUR times, they supposedly left a VM. Seriously??? Go to Costco!!!!!!! My wife was getting allergy shots (3 shots) at the Gloucester office for 2 1/2 years. Ann was the only one who did a great job. Every 2 months, someone new was giving the shots. She came home with knots, bruises, and a painful arm almost every time. Ann tried her best to be available for my wife, but couldn't always do it. The wait was horrible many times too. Sometimes, well over an hour!! She had to stop getting her weekly shots. It was too much for her. I don't think they take the Gloucester office seriously. They need to service this area better.

The "helpers" pay no attention to the way that you are performing exercises or give any help whatsoever. You might as well save a trip and do exercises at home if no one supervises to make sure that you are doing them correctly. One actually had me start still wearing a brace on my leg until I pointed out that I should be doing exercises without the brace. Another one said that I should try to do an exercise with no support after I told her that my blood pressure that morning was high and I felt light headed. I have had a lot of PT ( not here) )because of 2 knee replacements and 2 hip replacements and always found the therapists exceeding kind and professional--I am also 84 years old. I found neither of these at this facility. Would never recommend to anyone.

Fast forward to Sept 9, 2025 my benefits have been canceled because of a IME report he sent on April 15, 2025, which he hasn't seen me since or reviewed my MRI that I had done in June. I explained this to the workmen comp agency, they don't want to hear anything that I have to say. I had to obtain a lawyer to get my benefits restored in as of right now, I have no income.

Picked this place due to high rating…read more Gave me last appointment of day for young daughter and you expect to be late going in. Staff should be used to running late too; it's a doctors office. They were not. Got into an exam room 45min after scheduled appointment time. First nurse wanted my pharmacy. I started looking up address and she quickly said just give me the road. Like I was impeding on her time after I was waiting an hour (45min plus being there 15min before appt.). What do you think would happen if I just said Route 17. You know my scripts aren't going to the one Walgreens I want. She's picking one of the other 3 on the road. Shortly thereafter got in for X-rays. That X-ray tech was pleasant and only bright spot of the visit. Finally saw Dr. Aldrich 1:15 after my scheduled appointment. He tried his best not to rush but I can tell he was over seeing patients that day. Was short. Hard to understand. He said to get MRI and if nothing is found otherwise we'll do therapy. Hate sports medicine doctors falling back to therapy if they can't figure out the problem in the first visit. Anyway, he never even asked if I had questions and was out the door while finishing his last sentence. Yes I did have questions. Got none answered. Told to wait in room. Was expecting him to come back so not a huge deal. Instead an older nurse with short gray curly hair came back instead. Barged in saying I need to tell her where to send MRI script. I am new to area and not used to the Drs office sending the script to a place as opposed to the patient getting a script in hand. She just glared and gave me eyes as I scrambled to see if I could find a place associated with my PCP, took my insurance, was close to my home, and not a hospital where sick people are - perhaps an imaging center. She was impatient and didn't explain anything. To the point my young child said something to me after. I just gave a nearby hospital that she said was good and hoped for the best. It's Hampton Roads. It's not like the population doesn't turnover frequently. Then as we left the exam room, she turns to her co-workers and said angrily the guy took 10minutes to figure out where to go for a MRI. B, it was 5 and I didn't even get to pick. It's 5:30 at this point. Been there almost 2 hours. Saw staff for a total of 10 minutes tops and she's complaining I'm taking to long. All because she wanted to go home. Walked to checkout, lights off, staff lined up at door waiting for me to leave. Got no questions answered, no needed doctors note, no documentation of any kind that I was even there. Just got to sit there for 2 hours and be insulted. Cherry on top. After more than a week and not hearing anything we finally reached out to the hospital bc this office doesn't return calls. Find out the hospital doesn't do MRIs for children that young. So this doctor treats children but doesn't know that Sentera won't do MRIs for children of a certain age??? Decided to start over. Spent a month and several calls to get this doctors staff to provide the X-rays before I could go elsewhere so I don't get hit again by insurance. At the end of the day, I'm out copay, 2 hours time plus time on calls with office & hospital, a second trip to Williamsburg (gas and 45 more minutes) to finally get X-ray images and worst of all my child's treatment delayed 2 months. Plus the new doctor could see the issue in the X-ray that this first office did not. (Though used MRI to confirm) What an embarrassment.

My mom Was a patient of Dr Burton .My mom passed away unexpectedly due to a large blood clot in her…read moreleg that her Dr was aware of for many months my mom had swelling in her legs and was given lasix instead of checking her legs this clot could of been detected before it got this big were surgery couldn't been performed but it wasn't I told my dad to take my mom to the hospital because mom legs got really bed the hospital found the clot and couldn't do surgery she was sent to a rehab facility and placed on Eliquis which did nothing and physical therapy she then went home legs not getting any better dr made aware by visiting nurse who tell my mom it takes months for the clot to dissolve well my mom dies a clot broke off and went to her lungs she passed very quickly. I'm angry because I felt the Dr should have done more for my mom the hospital should have not discharged her with that clot .
