Although that sounds unappealing , the food was great and there was no limit on the type of food, drinks, or desserts we wanted. Also in the room there are complimentary snacks drinks and toiletries. The following morning when breakfast was served it was pretty good. She made a granola , fresh fruit & cream bowl to start. Then for the main course it was a French toast filled sandwich looking thing , I don't know how to explain it , but it was good . I wasn't as filled as a normal breakfast but what I did eat was delicious . Also the room was very clean . Now for the bad : I don't like writing bad things but for a review I should include everything. First of all there was ALOT of rules that I wasn't expecting. I felt like I was at like a great aunts house and felt very uncomfortable . There was signs everywhere to tell you what to do , or should I say what NOT to do. There was a sign telling you how you should operate the fireplace . A sign on how to not put anything on the wooden counter . A sign to take off your shoes before walking on the hardwood floors , a sign telling you to not take the snacks , a sign telling you not to look behind a curtain . The rules were crazy ! How am I supposed to relax and enjoy myself when I'm scared to touch anything because I might be breaking a rule . In my opinion if someone is so worried about a room being touched a wrong way , maybe you shouldn't rent it out & keep it to yourself to live in . Also the innkeeper is very vocal about her opinion and making sure you keep to the rules .At breakfast my cell phone was on the table and she took it away and put it on the counter . I did not like that. Overall: The place was well worth the money , would go back . The way the wedding was and how it was all inclusive was great . Only downfall was the overload of rules made it uneasy to relax .

Francis, the owner operator, met us at the door and directed us on where to wash and stow the bikes. Being on the GAP trail this B&B is very bike friendly. We had several other cyclist join us that evening. Once inside we were greeted with freshly baked pastries and cookies. Excellent chocolate chip cookies, some of the best I've ever had. As we were on our bikes and a couple of miles from town, Francis drove us in to town for dinner, dropping us off at the Smoke House, and arranging to pick us up at the gazebo in the town's Central Park. The facility itself is wonderful. We had a large spacious room, with comfortable beds. Perfect after a long day on the trail. The living area was spacious with a large reading area and comfortable couches and chairs. There was also a TV viewing area. We had plenty of table space for computers, and mobile devices, with a very solid hi speed wifi. Breakfast was absolutely marvelous. Francis went over her extensive menu the night before. A perfect way to see us off on our journey. I hope that in the near future I can go back to The Hanna House with my wife and we can spend a few days in the Confluence area. A really nice little town . Bottom line, Hanna's is one of the nicest places I've stayed in.

Karen and Don gave us a walking tour of the area and showed us all kinds of interesting flora and fauna. We had such a wonderful time relaxing, hiking, and enjoying the scenery. They had great tips on what to do in the area. Don gives fly fishing lessons and is a patient teacher. We had a fantastic breakfast and lots of interesting conversation. I think Karen and Don know something about everything. It was great. I was sorry that we had to be on our way. The good news is this is a 4 seasons area. I'm sure it's beautiful in the fall and is a short drive to Wisp Resort for winter skiing.

This is near skiing, and you could enjoy beautiful Somerset fall foliage. I'm told it is rarely humid in the area. It is also close close to the memorial for flight 93.
