Took me 2 visits to finish painting my figurine. There was a $5.00 per person fee to return a second time to continue painting. During our initial visit on a Sat evening, they took us in and failed to explain the paint/length process & that if we came back wed had to pay again. Closing time came & a staff told us we needed to leave - and started cleaning up our area. Think there was an opportunity for better communication there. During our 2nd visit, the new staff we encountered were much more helpful and attentive (Sat afternoon). We had a great time and even started & finished 2 additional crafts. I can't sayenough how therapeutic it is to paint... Even with the loud noise of folks around us. This place definitely gets crowded. It was a fun experience! Pros: Fun! If you are creative and enjoy painting you'll love this. Staff can be helpful and serve/refills paint for you Cons: Cost seems extreme for some of the ceramic pieces available 2 adults and 1 child - 2 small ceramic pieces $78 Room is very tight! There is no where to stand or wait if you are not sitting to paint and the tables are very close together to each other. Even while looking for a ceramic piece to choose from you will need to be careful not to accidentally end up bumping into others who are painting. This is my very 1st review. My 9 yr. old grandson and I walked in today 8/18/23 with no reservation, the staff was friendly and very accommodating. Grandson wanted to make a gift for his parents 10 yr. wedding anniversary. Sarah M. was amazing!..she helped create the best experience for us! They did not have the animal my grandson wanted, so he chose a platter, and they did not have the stencil of that animal, so Sarah M. offered to free-hand draw the animal on the platter, she did an amazing job! and she kept checking on how my grandson's painting was going and she also offered helpful suggestions and tips, she even helped with some detail work per our request.. she went above and beyond in the customer service area, and was so friendly while doing it. Brought my niece here on Sunday afternoon to do some painting. After taking forever to pick out her item (they have so many choices! ), she picked a dragon. Throughout the years, I have visited several Color Me Mine studios. It is a great place to get creative or try to pretend you can be artistic (like moi). This particular location is staffed with very friendly and helpful employees. Although it is a tad bit cozy inside, they will often times have seating outside the front patio. So. First you pick your ceramic figure on display off one of their numerous shelves. Once seated, the staff will come with a tile in which you get to pick colors you want to utilize . I brought my dad here using a Groupon. It was a Monday afternoon so it wasn't very busy. Free parking is available on the other side behind the building or in the parking structure. The staff is helpful and they all have wonderful, bubbly personalities. They provide a wide selection of colors. You have so many shades of blues, greens, and pinks to choose from. They also have puffy paint, stencils, sponges, and many other materials to bring your artwork to life! Be prepared to spend a pretty penny for a few hours of arts & crafts time though. The ceramic pieces are pricey-- smaller items start at $20 and it only increases from there. Remember that any and all pencil marks will fade away, but be sure to paint at least THREE coats. Finally I went to Color Me Mine! This is something I've been wanting to do for a long time, but never got around to. Thankfully Pinky is not the type that is all "I'm too manly for this" and willingly went along for our date. I see reviews for this place complaining about the service, but the three times that I've come here I've always received helpful and friendly service from the girls. If I'm going to make a complaint about anything for this place it's going to be for the prices. Freaking A, I heard that it was a bit costly here, but I didn't think it would be THAT pricey! Pinky and I both chose the cheapest item that was also useful and not some stupid trinket that would only collect dust. Pinky chose the smallest frame, a heart frame while I chose a mug (I really wanted the giant teacup with saucer :[ ) both items cost $20 each in addition to the $10 painting fee per person. $60 not including tax for us two. Shiet. We came around 7PM and being the perfectionist that I am, I took my sweet a** time painting making sure I put enough coats as well as making the lines clean, focusing on every detail. Time ran up for me because they close at 10 and I had to come in another day to finish my masterpiece, +$5 finishing fee. Overall, it was a very relaxing experience for both Pinky and I. You just completely zone out and focus on the painting, even when I came in the second time to finish my cup with a Girl Scout party going on at the same time. I've been to color me mine twice now and both times it's been really fun and I had a great time. Probably because I love this artsy kind of stuff. So basically you go in and pick out an item you want to paint. The prices are written in pencil on the bottom. Then you find a spot, sit, and start painting. The staff here will give you more clear and detailed directions. Once you are done, give them your mug to be glazed and pick it up in about a weeks time. Some things I want to emphasize: 1) Allow yourself enough time. I say to be safe give yourself 3 hours. 2) As they recommend, paint 3 coats. If you don't you will see streaks. Listen to their directions. The staff here have been wonderful both times I've been here. My only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is their price. It's kinda expensive. The items to be painted ranged from like $15-25 from what I saw... Plus $10 studio fee and tax = $35-$45 for a mug... That's expensive! read more

My friend and I came here last week and had a great time. You can walk-in (no appt needed) and the charges are as follows. PAINT FEE - ADULT: $10 PAINT FEE - KIDS (12 & under): $7 **Above flat fee includes all necessary supplies, paints, glazing, and firing. Besides the paint and brushes, they also offer stencils, stamps, and idea books (no extra charge to use any of these). ADDITIONAL CERAMIC FEE: **varies** I believe the prices start from about $20 and go as high as $85 or more (for the really large ones). The small vase I chose was $30. The total I paid for painting + the vase + tax was $43.20. HOW IT WORKS: *Come in + choose a ceramic. *Someone will come by and give you a small square block and you choose 5 paint colors to start with. *Start painting. You can ask for more of any color if needed. *When finished, initial the bottom of your ceramic with paint. *Pay for the ceramic + paint fee and give them your TEL#. *Pick up about a week later. =) We painted on 05/25 and my vase was ready 06/01 after 7pm. The service here is excellent - all of the gals are very nice and friendly. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the ceramics are pretty pricey and the room is very cramped. It's difficult to browse through the ceramics because the tables are somewhat in the way. The pottery is adorable and I love the different mugs and even the decorative figurines they have. The plates and platters are beautiful. The staff is very helpful and good with suggestions and are always running back and forth all evening getting more paint colors. I was going in to make a gift for my wife and was having trouble deciding when a friendly associate came and suggested a mug. After some debating I went for the fat mug that can hold a can of soup then the associate Cheyenne came and gave me the run down on the process of painting which was easy enough. I guess I had a complicated request because when I had asked another associate about the best way to do a finger print pattern they asked me to wait while they got a manage who was none other than Cheyenne. She helped me knock out the design and color coordination; she was super friendly and patient while explaining everything. She came back multiple times to check on me and ensure I was applying enough paint to ensure a proper coating. That emoji bank was $24 and +$10 for the fireing. $34 for a emoji bank..... The attendants were not too helpful. They only checked on us once and that was after i had to go and get them 3 times. We did 2 pieces. One emoji bank and one butter dish and the total was $74!! I came here on my own i wasnt forced I understand that, but its just really pricey. I literally could have purchased a ceramic piggy bank and a butter dish from dollar tree for 2 bucks. So... maybe next time ill do family time at the Aquarium of the pacific for the whole day for the same price. read more

Was here over the weekend with a group of girlfriends, there was four of us. I called a few days in advance in regards to one of my friends celebrating her birthday.I wanted to see if we could reserve the table however they said they can't reserve anything when there is less than six people she did say we can call that day 30 minutes before hand. So I did..We did get there a little late due to traffic but only by about 10 minutes she stated the table was taking already so we would have to wait. She could definitely tell by one of my friends that we were frustrated being that we had called in advance as we were told and we had to stand around and wait. However, she did help us out and get us a table fairly quick after we got there which was appreciated. Well waiting for a table we got to look and find what we wanted to paint. As the night went on the girls were actually very nice and you can tell felt bad for the trouble of the miscommunication for waiting. All in all we had a great time. I would come back again, however, I'm not happy the fact that you can't reserve a spot which makes it kind of frustrating that you have to call in advance to reserve as well as the building is actually very small and can get very crowded. We did notice many people coming in and looking however there was no room for people to get by at times. It was a Friday night, maybe not so busy during the week. I paid for me and my friend, the birthday girl so for the items we painted all in all came out to about $70+ just for the two of us. So yes it is pricey. But guess your paying for the experience which is OK we definitely are going to try the spot a couple spots over, Pinots Pallet next time. And word of advice for having over 50 people in one night and only having staffed two employees isn't ideal for your customers to feel the attention they are paying for, and it's not the employees fault but it's common sense, you need more staff for that many people needing things and having to wait on others. read more

Giving two stars because one of the employees (I believe her name is Cheyenne) was being rude and barely acknowledging my girlfriend. She ignored her, avoided eye contact, and failed to ask her if she needed anything. However, she was able to provide for other customers, so it's upsetting to me that she treated my girlfriend differently. We came here on a weekday and had the whole place to ourselves for about an hour. I made sure to book my reservation online for the first slot of the day. Our temperatures were checked and hand sanitizer was provided prior to going inside. Masks are required inside but not if you're painting outside. Took my kids here during spring break. First timers here and it was a lot of fun. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The girls there were constantly checking on us, refilling our paints and answering any questions we had. It was a busy day, lots of tables were occupied but they never neglected us. The store itself is amazing, there are so many different pieces you can choose from. Plenty of colors to paint with. If you don't have any ideas there are stencils that can help you get your creativity going. They said our pieces would be done by Monday evening and it was. The location is also very small and it can get a bit claustrophobic. This was my first time visiting this Color Me Mine and I was very impressed! I came in so I could make a gift for someone but I had absolutely no idea what kind of design I was going for. I had about and hour and a half until closing time so I was very conscientious that. I was pleasantly surprised by how professional, personable, and over all wonderful then employee Victoria was. Although working alone and with several people arriving within the last hour of operation, Victoria was ready to help everyone with full force. Victoria was so great in helping me decide finds inspiration. I asked Victoria how long she has been manager for, and to my surprise she wasn't the manager.
