Came to Color Me Mine on two separate occasions and loved both experiences! The first time was for my daughter's friend's birthday. It was such a cute party. The kids enjoyed pizza, drinks, and snacks and got to paint a ceramic piece of their choice. Such a great place to have a birthday party. Also, we recently came back to look for a birthday gift. My daughter chose a plate to paint for her aunt. Fatima and Madison were kind and helpful. They checked in on us often and helped my daughter when she needed help fixing a color on the plate. They were also patient when I asked for paint refills which was...a lot. I loved each visit and the staff made us feel welcome. Keep in mind it can get a bit pricey but the finished products are beautiful. If you plan to gift your ceramics, it'll take either 3 days (rush order for $5) or a week to pick up your order. read more

The staff is very friendly and the instructions were very clear. We had a reservation so we did not have to wait. It did get busy as we were about to leave. The price depends on what item you end up choosing. There were many options ranging from mugs, plates, figures etc. When you also pick up your item they unwrapped it to let you confirm your items. read more

This is NOT for in-store experience. I mainly wanted to highlight that they have a take-home option where you buy your ceramic for the price listed and the take home kit (I think it's $12?) which includes brushes and I believe 5 paints. We did this for our girl's day and while it can be initially more on the expensive side, we were able to paint at least 2-3 ceramics each. We did buy more paint than what was included in the take home kit because we wanted more colors, but if you plan your colors meticulously then the original amount you're given is more than enough to paint 1 ceramic each. The glazing is covered once you pay for the kit and ceramics and if you have leftover paint and want to go back to buy more ceramics, you don't need to pay extra for any of the glazing. I much prefer this than going in-store if you are doing a group activity. You can take your time painting and it's always nice to be able to do what you want in the comfort of your home. This is perfect for birthdays, girl's night or even just something to do with friends. read more

Chill location next to lots of food and grocery/useful things store. The staff inside are nice and attentive in getting you the paint you need. The pieces themselves can be a bit pricey so its best to go during a happy hour to at least save on studio fees. You will need to pick it up. Make sure to put multiple thick layers for the paint to show up well, but if you want to do shading then like 2 layers and a layer on tip will be okay. The blank space fires white. We found that the paint pens have the best saturation of color for detail but sometimes it can be clogged. Overall a good hands on activity if you want some off screen time :). read more

Had so much fun here! Very nice staff, easy to follow instructions, and plenty of pieces to choose from. They have seasonal items as well as items you could use for day to day. I would like to add this would be a great idea to come here alone and decorate a gift for someone special. People of all ages are welcome. I think we were allotted about 2 hours which was a very reasonable amount of time. Then we were able to pick up our finished product about 2 wks later. Fun Family Night. My sister is pregnant and wanted to make something for my soon to be nephew, so her, her husband and I came in last minute to paint a few things. Sister and I each made plates, while my brother in law made a piggy bank. Staff was attentive, and we were able to get a table right away walking in on a Monday night. Still a decent amount of people in there for a weekday. Again, staff was attentive, especially when it came to refilling paints, as necessary. My daughter and her friends were excited to come here, but the staff was rude and acted annoyed when the girls asked for paint colors--despite this being a full-service activity we paid for. When I went to pick up my daughter's item, another employee (Kate or Katie) rolled her eyes and grunted at us just because I initially gave the wrong name. This was a really fun experience!!!! The girls working there are beyond awesome!!!! They work so hard and are literally the sweetest. I'm not very artistic but it was fun to create my own unique piece. I didn't know how it was going to turn out, but overall, I was happy with the end result. I haven't been here since I was in 3rd grade. My boyfriend planned a last minute date here and they are extremely accommodating with a couple hours reservation in advance. They don't bother you too much while painting and just stop by to refill colors which I liked. When we turned in our small projects , we waited about two weeks to get our finalized product. They informed us that one of our prices broke while being heated, and still gave us the bowl that broke after they fixed it. In addition, they allowed us store credit for a replacement because the bowl that broke is no longer microwave safe. We haven't redeemed our new bowl yet, but I love how above and beyond the team here goes to make things right. read more

I like this location better than Costa Mesa (Metro Point). 1) because their charge for kids is cheaper by $4, 2) they have more pottery to choose from, like animals and 3) the marketplace has more places that are open around 9ish vs Metro point, everything, even Jamba Juice opens at 10. If you are in-between both locations, come to this location. All the employees are equally nice at both locations. read more

The items range from plates, cups, or really fun designs. They have almost every color you could think of as well! I came here with a group of friends and it was a great activity that we all enjoyed!
