My husband took me here for a day date and it was so much fun! I love creating things so this was right up my alley. The owner was super sweet and the employees were so helpful in telling us about the process of painting our items and getting us more paint when needed. You choose your item, paint it then come back a couple weeks later to pick it up. This place is perfect for both kids and adults to have fun. We'll definitely be back!

We have visited a few times and they offer many services such as paint pottery, (the main focus), art classes, art history lessons, and more. They also offer summer classes geared towards children and young adults alike. The studio is small, yes, however the creativity shines in all areas. You can just *feel* the love the owners have for this little establishment. My son and I will be coming back soon for art classes. Absolutely wonderful little studio, I am so glad I gave this a try. We will be back very soon.

I could drop off any day during the week but they only fire and pick up on Saturday. I went multiple times over the next couple weeks trying to drop off and even though posted hours said open their doors were locked. I finally pick up the kids pottery on a Saturday and am able to drop mine off. go back the following Saturday and they are closed even though posted hours are open. I call ahead the next Saturday bc I don't want to drive 45 minutes and they repeatedly don't answer the phone. I take my chances and they are open!! Now to get my cup, but wait it has black on it tracing half a name and then another kids name is fully traces in black...I didn't use black paint! what an expensive waste of our families time and complete disappointment.

Ally walked us through the pottery and painting techniques and it was just a few minutes waiting on a table. The place was buzzing and there were so many talented people there... you could seriously be mesmerized just watching them paint! Back to pottery... choices for every person and every budget. Paint colors and brushes galore. It was intense watching our table full of family with a birthday celebration creating their unique pottery. I can't wait to see the finished result in a week! Thanks much and we'll definitely be back! A++++

I went to the pottery place with my kids and my two good friends and their kids. It was a Sunday,…read morethere were 10 of us, and the pottery place was very busy. They don't accept reservations, but their website claims they can seat 70, so we figured they could handle us. We even stated that we would prefer to be broken up into two tables, as this seemed more manageable for everyone. The manager said OK , and that we would be put on the waitlist. We waited patiently, browsing the selection and chatting amongst ourselves, trying to stay out of the way. When it was our turn to be seated, we were ushered to an eight person table. I addressed my concerns that there wouldn't be enough room for all 10 of us, and reiterated we were told we'd have two tables. They refused to honor that agreement. The extra seats that were pulled up for us did not fit the height of the table and I wasn't able to fit my legs underneath. I decided since I did not have proper accommodations, I would not purchase a piece to paint. I was really looking forward to painting something to give as a birthday present, and had planned on spending a good amount of money!! (I paid over $60 for my children to paint a mug and a 3 inch gnome.) We noticed that two tables remained available on either side of us for a while. We politely asked if we could use one of them and we were told no they were reserved. Nobody ever sat at one of them, and at no point for the remainder of our time there were there any less than two available tables in the room, just sitting there empty. I was upset by this experience. I was not friendly when settling up and paying at the end because I believed I was being treated poorly. I don't have to make eye contact and smile, and certainly couldn't find it in me to do so. I wrote a Yelp and a Google review when I got home. The following day I received a phone call from that same manager. She got my phone number off of my pick up information that I provided at the shop and called me at home, unsolicited. She gaslit me, made false accusations, and was defensive and argumentative. I certainly didn't write a review as an invitation for her to call and harass me. I wrote a review to alert other potential customers about a problem that was unresolved by the management of this business. They had the ability to accommodate us and went out of their way not to. We expressed that we were not satisfied, and they refused to make any effort. When I expressed my experience in my reviews, they contacted me to argue about it. Though I wish I had never been to the pottery place, I know there are plenty of other places I enjoy going, where I am treated well.

The silhouette piece has bubbles that appear to be filled in with some sort of marker as it differs from the color of the paint. The words are not even centered on a piece I spent almost $100 on. I asked for tans, greys, and light blues on the border like beach colors and got blue, green, and pink. I paid extra for artwork on a canvas in jewel tones and got no additional artwork for $16 that was paid for the additional. Flower pot was supposed to have pea pods and even told the story to the artist why. No pea pods are on the flower pot, only flowers. There is also glaze missing in chunks on the flower pot. 4 out of 4 pieces had something wrong. Part of it could have been miscommunication, but the way they wanted to address it was me to drop off then have to pick it up an hour and a half away. Even that "solution" took convincing. That didn't seem fair for their mistakes. I did demand a refund for the artwork but only got refunded $20. The artwork charge was $16- $27 each piece so $20 definitely didn't cover for all of the many mistakes. Again paid $300 for the 4 pieces. Whoever I spoke with was rude. I was admittedly frustrated, but these were the main gifts for family this year and am quite embarrassed by the poor workmanship. Takeaway: please provide your customers clear expectations in your art pieces. If there's going to be words misaligned, let your customers know this a possibility. If it's possible the artist is going to forget the exact artwork, again just let the customer know that it may not be exact. I have learned lessons as well which include to provide even clearer cut expectations. I would not recommend this business to anyone. It has left me scrambling to find the money and gifts to replace for Christmas.
