I'm a visitor to the area for three weeks and needed a pedicure and a fill with gel polish. I travel a lot and when I use a nail salon on the road, it's a pretty boring experience: little talk and (too) fast work. Color Nails was 180° different! I was greeted as I walked in the door and immediately seated for my acrylic fill. The nail tech was so friendly and put me at ease right away then, by the time she finished, had me laughing. Then I walked over and was seated for my pedicure. I had a new nail tech who was as nice as the first. As we visited, I realized one of the ladies in our conversations was the owner -- also nice. I went in for a pedicure and dipped nails and it took over 4 hours... and there was only 1 customer... so they were not busy.. each customer that came in after me was there for several hours for one service. read more

I went here a few days ago I paid 55.99 on my debit card total no tip gave her 9 cash. It had shown 55.99 snd I just checked and they ran this through as 70.99 I would not trust this place at all I disputing with my bank. Fabulous nail salon!! Josephine was so great and took her time with my gel pedicure. The salon was clean, bright and airy. I'm just visiting but if I were a local, I'd be coming back here! Sweet family run business! Bonus that they were open on Sunday when many other salons weren't. read more

Too expensive IMO. $28 for "express pedi". No massage at all, just the basics. $10 extra for a 10 minute massage, which is normally included at my regular nail salon (they were too busy today, and I was already at Publix so I figured WTHECK). Took over 2 hours to do a dip with tip when usually it should only take 45 minutes. Each nail is a different shape and the clear coat that was put on top is peeling off after not even a week. read more

Worst customer service ever! Should have read the reviews before going. I too got my head bitten off when trying to tell the tech what I wanted. It was unreal. I was pleased with the cleanliness of the salon and timeliness of the service. He took great care to even the length of my nails and give a nice shape to the white tips of the French. Great pedicure! I got the $35 pedi. They did 3 did massages during the pedi. Exfoliating, lotion and hot stone. Very relaxing. Bonus for me that they could get my engrown nail from my big toe! (Seems a lot of salons in Destin don't do that.) they don't use a razor on your foot, some other places do. Very pleased and I'll return! read more

Tiffany is amazing! I have been going here for a long time and these guys know what they are doing. The express manicure is a great deal for how great of a job they did. My gel tips were put on perfectly, exactly how I wanted them to be with a perfect color to match. I always go here to get my nails done because they are consistently fantastic and I never leave disappointed. Not just nails either, their other services are fantastic as well. I have had countless pedicures which are always very relaxing and my toes look so cute when they are finished. They also do waxing and, anyone knows that waxing isn't exactly painless, they make it almost 100% pain free. Stopped in for a regular pedicure on a vacation. Have to say this was the best pedicure I have ever received in my entire life! Arthur was extremely attentive and took his time! Anna did my nails poorly! Request Tiffany only. When I went back to complain I told them I had to file my nails to make them look even and to get rid of all the chipping that occurred in less than a week (had a French gel). The man who works there accused me if lying. I am extremely insulted. I am a lovely Godly woman who really doesn't want to cause problems. Just expect a better service and the vendor to back up this service without calling YOUR customer a liar! read more

Weird pricing! I'm on vacation in seaside and wanted to get a gel pedicure because my regular pedicure was looking dull and peeling off after being in the sand. When I asked what the cost would be for gel, (after requesting the express pedicure for $25) I was told my pedicure would cost $50! Double the price to have gel polish!? I argued back and forth with this woman who barely spoke any English and looked so confused. The man working there who clearly spoke English well didn't step in and help communicate, just sat and watched me attempt to question this price. Maybe this is a FL thing. In St. Louis a common price to add for gel is $5-$10. Anyway, I ended up doing it, and the pedicure was ok, not great. Still can't get over the shocking price tag! I had a terrible, painful experience at this nail salon today. My big toe nails cut so bad; the right one wouldn't stop bleeding. The nail tech, Ann applied unnamed green drops and applied pressure with a cotton ball. I wouldn't be so upset but I tried to tell her it hurt as she cut my toe nails. She had a less than friendly attitude most of the time until it was time to pay. I felt obligated to give her a tip since she continued standing next to me as I signed my debit card receipt. I'm a local and frequent Color Nails often throughout the year. I'm reluctant to ever return, not only because of this incident but a combination of visits. I purchased a gift certificate at Christmas time for an elderly lady friend and she got a fungus on all her toes!! Most of the time, the staff isn't friendly.
