And honestly, maybe they're right, because I kept going back hoping the next visit would be better. Today was my last straw. The technician clipped me twice with the nail clippers--hard enough that I yelped and had to tell her to stop and just trim and file, not perform surgery. I always ask for a shiny buff on my natural nails (the kind that looks glossy without polish--like they do at Nails So Happy at Per Park). I asked for this repeatedly today, even through a translator. Despite that, my nails are dull and look like they were aggressively sanded. Difficulty with English is generally a problem at nail salons, but this staff is impossible to communicate with.
