I had the pleasure of working with Trey and Kirby from Colorado's Finest Moving. They were both EXCELLENT!! I live in New York and scheduled this move for my mom who lives in Colorado. I've lived in many different states and have worked with numerous moving companies, and can honestly say that these guys are the BEST! My mom was extremely nervous and stressed about this move. I reassured her, that I would hire a great moving company and I'm very happy I was able to deliver. I was very hesitant about scheduling the movers without getting a personal referral and relying solely on reviews from U-haul. The great reviews did not disappoint, these guys were AMAZING!!
From the start, the process with Colorado's Finest Moving went smoothly. I booked this company online through the U-Haul Moving Helpers. Within a couple of days Colorado's Finest Moving contacted me to get all the details about the move. The day before the move they called me to review the details again. I was in town to assist my mom with the move, which all went much better than expected thanks to Trey and Kirby.
Trey and Kirby drove from Denver to Boulder and arrived ready to work. They were extremely hard working and efficient. They had great positive energy and their overall attitude was very refreshing. After my mom met them, she calmed down and trusted that they could handle the job. My mom was moving out of a 3rd floor apartment with no elevator. Even on a hot July day, the stairs and heat did not phase them. When they first came, they surveyed all of the boxes and furniture and created a plan of which items should be loaded into the truck first. I really appreciated that they took the time to ask questions. I've worked with movers who are in such a rush to begin, that there is no order to the process. They took special care with all the items, especially all the fragile and glass pieces. Whenever a box was not labeled or they were unsure about an item, they asked about its contents. They worked diligently and were very pleasant. My mom kept saying, "They are so nice!", which they are.
When arriving at the new apartment, like before, they first surveyed the space and asked questions about where items should be placed. They were very thorough. They read the labels on the boxes and brought them to their designated places. "Plates" were put near the kitchen, "shoes" put in the closet, "books" placed next to bookshelves. Sounds simple enough, but the movers taking this extra step to put boxes in specific areas makes everything more organized and easier to unpack. I did not realize how many things my mom had and ended up going an hour over my scheduled time. However, they remained positive and worked hard until the job was done.
