I arrive early at 445 knowing I'm early, they don't greet me or offer anything that I notice they offer the other women. I'm waiting & eventually another 5 women walk in all with 5 o lock appointments. Eventually we all start to fall off and those women leave. A couple of us stay but it is now past 530 and I've asked multiple times as there is zero urgency through the shop to make sure the group waiting for their 5pm appointment if they have an eta on when they plan to start. At that point they rush me to a pedicure station where I waited another 10 min so all in all I've not even stated my services until almost 6. I end up getting a pedicure (which was an after thought) as I needed my nails done by 630 no one has even started on my hands and I felt there was zero sense of care for my time or any one else's so I let my toes dry and I left. I will say I've lived in scottsdale for 14 years and this was the worst service & experience I've had at a salon ever. They tried to stop me at the door when I was getting up to tell me I had my nails to get done and I stated I had dinner plans at 7 this shouldn't of taken almost 2 hours for a subpar pedicure. Again been in scottsdale 14 years frequent the area often. Very disappointed in the energy and all around care they had for me. Maybe it's me for many reason they didn't care as this was in a different area and definitely had a different vibe inside the salon when I walked in. My fave lady was Tracy who owned it. She sold and it went downhill after that. So then I moved over to Lavish Nails. It's a pretty salon and they do a decent job but it's always so busy and they are expensive, they rush you through, and the main guy (who's an owner) is rude. When I got up to the counter she told me it was 80$ and I said no you stated 65$ and she's like no it's 80$ and then she proceeded to add her own tip and stated my total would be 95$. I again stated what she originally told me and she just felt very argumentative and went back and said yes 50+15 is 80 and I said no is 65$ and she's like well then it's 15$ for chrome and 15$ for gel each. She's like all salons do it. I didn't appreciate her adding her own tip or giving different numbers especially after confirming before service. I'm not one to argue. I'll pay but I won't be back.
