Let's share some love! Oh we just did because we are sharing "cupcakes!"…read more While driving across the country, and hailing all the way from Las Vegas, we made it to Chicago . We have achieved some sort of appreciation and need to celebrate with love . We were seeking a cupcake institution to make our dreams of cupcakes possible . Lo and behold, beautiful things came to fruition! We have cupcakes! This business, small cakes is a great cupcake franchise that is all over the country, apparently! They even have some of the same flavors that we remember. Oh for the small joys of remembering the past now in the future. We are stopping just to pass through . It's truly amazing here in the city of Chicago! Cupcake rock! The cupcakes are amazing! The staff is even greater! It's so hard to order just one or two ! How about a half dozen? We will need cupcakes later on I'm sure . It was a joy to talk with the staff and have them fulfill all our cupcakes needs. Just like days of old, but in the now ! It's time to give the staff here some credit they are busy little humans making and selling cupcakes for all to eat and enjoy. The store was spotless . What's not to enjoy? We need to find out, the joys of being happy and having fun . Oh goodness, we found that here . Love and epic happiness await us as we keep traveling . Thank you for making our cupcakes and coming to work so that we had something to celebrate our happy with .

As a absolutely foody to see 3 stars on this app absolutely absurd... I've worked in many breakfast…read moreplaces and as a reviewer for Yelp this restaurant the cook owner has went above and beyond to prepare his food.. I ordered the chilaquiles on point not soggy perfect spice exactly what I was looking for.. I also ordered a broccoli cheddar skillet with avocado and let me tell you I've never had any skillet that had broccoli with seasoning it had a hint of garlic not just grilled and thrown in there that flavor was incredible you don't get that at other restaurants... And then of course my favorite thing waffles I don't know what this man does to the waffles but it was crispy on the outside and kind of lacy inside my kind of waffle not a waffle that you cut into and it looks like a pound cake I can't figure out how he makes it or whatever he does that's how a waffle should be.. He uses fresh potatoes.. and fresh hash browns although ..I was charged which believe me I get I a pecan waffle with pecan inside and out I think I was charged $5 extra but you know what pecans are expensive and boy there was a lot on there I would chop them up though..... Was very clean the windows were clean that's my pet peeve when you walk into a restaurant and you have dirty windows the coffee pots were shiny they take pride the cleanliness of the restaurant my server was excellent very informative I did ask about the owner cuz I was just truly impressed usually when food is made to perfection the most part and this industry it's always not a Greek Hispanic they learn and watch and intact.. I don't know if he had had experience before but whatever he had whatever he knew..he is definitely gifted.... I will give 20 stars to this place I hate I work mornings I can't even get there I just had a day off and I was at urgent Care and we stopped there it makes me feel like breaking a bone and having to go back there just so I can go back for breakfast or just take a day off of work LOL.... There is an automatic gratuity don't be discouraged and understand the area they probably work many years getting stiffed and had no choice.. to succumb to that.... I will definitely be coming back you are my all-time favorite breakfast

Bialy's Café -- Real Breakfast, Real Prices, No Market Price Nonsense…read more After getting finessed at Maple & Jams -- where a skirt steak somehow ran $39.99 (and came out well-done when we asked for medium rare) -- I walked into Bialy's with my guard up, half-expecting another brunch scam. But Bialy's? Straight up restored my faith in breakfast. My girlfriend ordered the skirt steak again -- and this time, it came out exactly how she wanted: medium rare, flavorful, and worth every cent. Price? $19.95. No market price tricks. No guessing games. Just real food with a real price tag. I went with the Denver omelet and a side of sausage links, and let me tell you -- that omelet was fluffy, packed, and hit the spot. The sausage was solid, and we even squeezed in an order of French toast to share. Light, crisp edges, just the right amount of sweetness. You could tell everything was made with care. The crowd was diverse, the energy was positive, and the waitresses were friendly and on top of it. Everyone seemed genuinely happy to be there -- staff and customers alike. Bottom line: I came in feeling finessed from my last overpriced breakfast. But I left full, happy, and reassured that some spots still put people over profit. No market pricing games. No sticker shock. Just good food, fair prices, and people who clearly give a damn.

It's not Chinatown cuisine by any means but there is always a time and place for hibachi as a group or orange chicken. Staff is very friendly. As of April 2026 there is some kind of renovations happening inside, though it seems operations are fine. Interior is super spacious even with the construction. Parking lot also looks like it was recently refreshed outside.

Take out | Dinner | $100+ What a disappointment! I just…read morewant to start by saying that my family and I have been ordering from Chi-Tung for 15+ years. We have dined-in, used carry out, and even catered for Christmas parties. We loved this place, until my most recent experience. On Tuesday, June 23, I wanted sushi and panang curry for my birthday dinner. It's a 30 minute drive from my house so 1 hour round trip to get carry out. I love their food so I was willing to make the trip - I ordered $160+ worth of food for a family of 5. Pick up was no problem. However, the overall quality of the food was TERRIBLE - super bland with all of the sushi rolls and even my fave roll from there, Godzilla was just AWFUL - didn't taste anything like it normally does. Three-fourths of the order was sushi so that was super disappointing. My daughters' chow mein didn't have any noodles - it was just straight vegetables. She wouldn't eat it bc she wanted the noodles. The panang curry was the only thing that tasted good, but that was only a small part of the order. I was able to speak to the manager (Peg) on the phone a couple days later and explained to her my experience and she basically acted like I was lying, making the whole thing up. That I was supposed to save the food we didn't eat in a cooler and bring it back to the restaurant that day to get some form of refund. That was the policy. Not only that, she also said their recipe has not changed nor had anyone else complain about the food that day. I explained that we already threw out the food so that wouldn't be feasible and she basically said then there was nothing she could do and that she had to follow this policy. I'm sorry but I'm not driving an hour to return the bad food that a restaurant served me - 1. How is that sanitary? 2. Why are you calling a loyal long time customer basically a liar? 3. What kind of customer service doesn't offer anything to a customer that had a bad experience at your restaurant? She didn't seem to care when I told her that MY FAMILY AND I WILL NEVER COME BACK! I couldn't believe that's how a manager would treat a customer especially one that had been coming back for many years and recommends it to others. NEVER AGAIN! BOTTOM LINE: RUN, this place has definitely gone downhill and their customer service is the worse I've ever seen. The only way to save this place is fire that manager, fix the quality of your food, and treat your customers better
