OMG this place is so cute. Open with a lot of candy & different cereal to pick from. My shake I had was amazing. My friend already told me I need to bring him here so we'll be returning. The staff super friendly & everything is contactless. This place will definitely take you back to your childhood.

Okay, this place is so bomb! COVID-19 ish - hand sanitizer, 6 feet distancing signs on the floor, contactless menu, contactless payment, face masks required, all employees wore masks and gloves..... ...,now that's out the way. First off, this place is super cute, I love the decor and they have a Mrs. Pac-Man machine. They turned one of their shakes I saw on Instagram into a sundae for me with no problem. Super professional and very friendly staff. They also sell nostalgic candy in bulk and a la carte, if you don't want a dairy treat. My sundae is so delicious. Oh and did I mention, it's black owned and operated. I loved my experience and my dessert and will be back! Kudos to Munchiez!

This place is spectacular! I've been wanting to go since they opened, and they did not disappoint. Staff was welcoming and answered all questions we had. Place is cute, and spacious. Will be back soon to try more things.

This place is AMAZING! It's my childhood dreams come true. Munchiez is a cereal bar. They also sell candy, ice cream, shakes and walking tacos however cereal is their main attraction. They're located on 1803 W. 95th St. right by the tracks. The bar is small yet cozy. Inside its very colorful and animated. They have a few stools seated at the bar and a handful of tables with stools. Also each table has a giant deck of uno cards. They have 33 different flavors of well known cereal which are displayed on the back wall of the bar. The cereals are dispensed from plastic canisters and they're served in giant see through plastic bowls with plastic spoons. The milk comes on the side in a see through plastic jug. They have several different flavors of milk from regular, to chocolate, to almond, to multi colored milk, they even have unicorn milk (whatever that is). I brought my wife and daughter here this past Sunday for some family time. My wife ordered a walking taco, I ordered a bowl of cocoa pebbles with almond milk and my daughter had a bowl of lucky charms with pink milk. The cereal accompanied with the ice cold milk hit the spot. Their menu is small and when it comes to the cereal you can choose one of the specials which is usually multiple flavors mixed together or you can create your own bowl for about $6.00 and every flavor you add is an additional $3.00. Overall you come to a place like this for the experience as well as the childhood memories/nostalgia it will invoke once you take a bite of your favorite cereal while playing uno or the Mrs. Pacman arcade game they have in the shop. Parents with small kids kids should definitely bring their children here, they'll love it as will anybody whose a cereal lover. This place is legit and I have no complaints. They get 5 stars from me and I will definitely come back soon. PS. Munchiez is black owned and I love supporting black owned businesses.

We enjoyed our shakes made with our favorite cereals. The customer service was good. It was our first time there and we will return.

When we were little, we always came to Chinatown for candies and toys. The neighborhood has changed…read moreover the years, but they are still a place to get our favorite rice candy, Botan. I think it used to be called Tomoe Ame, but it's the same as ever, though it used to come with a tiny plastic or even metal toy, and now it comes with a toy tattoo. The candy is a lightly-flavored set-jelly candy, much like a Turkish Delight, and the inner wrapper right next to the candy is rice-paper that melts in your mouth! I think we used to shop down Wentworth south of Cermak, and there are still authentic restaurants and all kinds of shops there. Nowadays we mostly head to the Chinatown Square open-air mall. This time we stopped in the Ichiban Candy & Snacks store. They have so many kinds of sweets, and yes, Botan Ame! They sell a trendy new ice cream bar, Dubai Pistachio Chocolate Flavor! Inside a fairly thick chocolate shell, the filling is like skinny long bright green sprinkles! It's fun and unusual. Even better, while we were there (Nov 2025), if you bought over $35 of candy, (we did :-), the friendly staff gave out a free ice cream bar as a sample! We all got to taste it. Pretty good! They have good old White Rabbit candy, like a white taffy roll. They have unusual "Chinese flavors" of Lay's Potato Chips we got Cucumber, Lime, Peking Duck, Five Spice, and Wasabi. They also have cans of formed potato chips like pringles. Other than the spicy flavors and the wasabi, none really have the flavor in the name, but they are all interesting, and every one we tried went well with beer :-). You can never go wrong with various flavors of Kit Kat. We like the original Pocky sticks and the chocolate-filled Hello Panda cookies. And there is a vast assortment of by-the-pound hard candies and chewy candies. We stop in now and then just to refill our candy dishes :-)
