WORST PEDICURE EVER! I am a senior and have fungus on my big toenails. I've had it for a long time, and NEVER had a pedicurist refuse to paint them. This operator suggested I see a podiatrist, which I did, and he saw no reason for not polishing them. I even brought my own polish. In addition, she said because I did not have sandals, it would take too long to dry. When it came time to pay, she charged me the regular fee (even though my whole process, without the whole polish thing was maybe 15 minutes!) read more

The best in town! I have gone to more expensive places in Carlsbad + Encinitas and I have not found anyone as good. I go to Jenny and I always get the same exact nail shape and color (baby take a bow). They looked amazing in my wedding photos and I always get compliments when I go places. Just note they are a small team and need you to call for an appointment. I have seen customers upset because they can't just walk in and sit down like other nail salons. Just call ahead and they will do their best to get you in that day if they can! They are also funny and good energy. So that's just a bonus when you are sitting around for an hour. read more

No matter what you ask for, expect to walk out with super short nails. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My girl, who didn't give me her name, listened to me NOT AT ALL![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I took my mom for a mani pedi. I told the gal I just wanted a polish change on my toes cause I just had a pedi so I didn't want them cut anymore. Also I had foot surgery so I didn't want them messed with too much. I had to tell her to stop twice as she was clipping and filing down to the nub. Now it hurts to walk til they grow out. Next she asked If I wanted my finger nails cut. I said No thank u. I like my nails 1/2 to an inch long. Asked her to just shape a little and I'd like a French manicure. Again I kept telling her NO, too short as she continued to clip and file all the way down. they were so short I no longer wanted the French manicure I came for. If I had wanted them cut completely off I would have done it at home. I like having my nails nice around the holiday but I guess this year it's not going to happen. Last time I was here 2 days later my nail broke and I came in to get it fixed Kelly was upset that the nail broke and told me I better bring cash as it was going to cost for her to fix my nail. We didn't have an appointment, but I'm pretty good at analyzing when it's a good time to get a pedicure, especially on the weekends, in a busy, touristy part of Carlsbad. It wasn't too busy in there and the ladies who gave us pedicures were very nice. They weren't trying to upsell me on anything, the pedicure felt good, they clearly have regulars coming in, and were very helpful with my indecisiveness with colors. I also loved that they were scrubbing the foot tub after we were done, sanitation is important to me for a nail salon. They also had this drying nail station for both your manicure and pedicure. I'm very happy with how my toes came out, but they lost a star only because my friend's toes were chipping off the first hour. It seems like the lady forgot to put a top coat on the big toe. Mine is still perfect after running around in the sand at the beach, walking barefoot almost everywhere and the flower she did for me is very pretty! So happy with my nails and with our service. They were super professional and took all the necessary Covid precautions so we would feel safe the whole time. They were very kind and hard working. Hands down the best place in North county San Diego for nails. I tried a number of nail salons bolstering great yelp reviews when i first moved to this area, but my acrylics would start popping off after 1 to 2 weeks and they were far more $$$. If they weren't popping off, they were poorly shaped and chipping. The ladies at this salon are so funny, kind, efficient and use quality products (clearly - because my acrylics last wayyyyyy longer 3 + weeks and I'm never missing a nail when i drop in for a refill. They always remove my previous gel or acrylics with care and my nail health has never been better. High recommend for manicures, full acrylic sets, and of course pedicures. I keep my nails pretty short for work, so I can't do a bunch of crazy designs, and I usually just get a gel manicure. This is probably one of the best gel manis I've ever had.
