My friend and I have been searching for a nail salon the whole week. A lot of them were nice places that have done wonderful jobs but we wanted our nails done a specific way, and most places we normally went to gave excuses of why they couldn't do it. This place came up on Yelp. I noticed the nail designs right off the bat. They were beautifully done, and unique, but it made me wonder if they could do the designs my friend and I wanted done. Luckily, they had a cell phone I could send the pictures to and right off the bat, I get a reply saying they can do any of those pictures I provided as a reference. I called them straight away and booked an appointment for the next day. They were very helpful, and made sure to listen to our requests. We are completely in awe of how amazing our nails came out and are already planning out our next idea in a few weeks. This place is definitely a gem! They also have so many more colors to choose from than the ones I normally go to as well. I think this will be my go-to nail place from now on. We are their walking billboard :) One thing I do suggest is making an appointment. They book up quick because they do so well and take good care of their customers.

Have never liked being pushed, rushed and talked/laughed at by the manicurests. Mainly because I won't do an upgrades they are pushing! Great job, great price and great experience! We will be back! All kinds of nail services and waxing. I loved Karina and July! Thank you ladies! 2nd visit just as AWESOME! They are beyond caring! They all lavished my 70 year old momma! Walked her to our car, carried her purse, shoes... Beyond impressed! Love my nail both toes and finger nails have lasted well into 3 weeks! Love them!

I normally don't get my nails done. Last week, had to go a company party so decided to get my nails done on the last minute. Looked on Yelp and found this place and has a high rating. Also, according to yelp, they offer 10% discount to military. Before I got my nails started, showed the ad from yelp, the woman said yes we can give you the discount. Nothing against the woman that did my nail, she actually did pretty good. After my nail, decided to also get facial. Then getting ready to pay, i showed my military id to another woman and she start lecturing me about military discount is only on certain days. I was upset but paid my fees full price. Now, don't know how to rate this place. 5 star for the woman that did my nail but 0 star for not honoring the discount they advertising. To owner, nothing mentioned on the coupon of when i can and cannot use.Also, in the fact that the first woman honored the coupon and then when i'm ready to pay, it was not honored.

The only place my sister and I and now mom go! Julie and crystal are the sweetest ladies and they have so many options from the glitter dip, to cat eye to any design you desire. We won't go anywhere else & are so glad to have found them! They have a new lady Tina who is also amazing she does pedicures only and she is very fast . Gem in Oceanside!

They accept mc, visa and debit card, but there is a $.50 charge each transaction. I decided to try this place as its close to home and I usually pass the sign out front. The woman that did my mani/pedi did a wonder job. Both hands and toes feel nice and clean. Like they can breathe. And the massage was on point! What I really like is they don't try to sell you on everything. They are well priced. Another thing that sets them aside from other places- they focus on quality of their job and not the quantity of clients they can squeeze in. The lady took her time and it reflects that. I def will be back. I can appreciate their efforts and that's how you get a returning clients. The owner is very nice as well. He wants the clients to feel like family. Don't think you'll get that at other nail salons.

Thank you, YELP, for leading me to this hidden gem! I'm new to the area and have been trying and looking for a nail place to go to. Originally, I went to another nail salon next to Burlington Coat factory but I didn't particularly like their style of acrylic nails... BUT this place not only was able to correct the shape of my nails, they made me wish I found them sooner. Call for an appointment during Covid-19.. they took me in right away and luckily, I was the only one! They have you wash your hands before and after everything, which I appreciated since no one needs to be spreading around more germs... If you're getting a pedicure, add the callus removal! It's sooo worth it! My feet are so clean!!! For my nails, I refilled and chose the mood color changing nail polish and I'm in LOVE! It's gonna be a bit before I can go back since I'm visiting my inlaws for the holiday then will have to quarantine after my return but I'm looking forward to going back!!! read more

I came here after getting my hair done next door and asked if they had any walk in's the sat me immediately. I rarely get my nails done but felt like I needed some mommy self care time they did an excellent job I loved my nails. If you are local try this place the girls are sweet and really make you feel like you are treated like valued client. I loved all the color selections also when I came around 5 they weren't busy but I am sure they have their peak times. read more

I've been to this salon twice before, but it's been quite a while. So, am I wrong or are these new ladies? I don't remember either of them actually, but have only gotten pedicures, so not sure I'd remember the fingernail lady. But, whatever, this new pedicure lady was great, very soft spoken and sweet. Did a great job, I love my toes. Very inexpensive, only $21.00 for basic pedicures. read more

Came for a pedicure a few weeks ago and they were very clean with Covid. I had a man do my pedicure, don't remember his name. On one toe he dug and dug a lot on one side and it didn't hurt at the time. Three days later that same toe and side he dug on was swollen and red and painful to walk on. A trip to urgent care the next day and it was diagnosed infected from getting the pedicure so I won 10 days on antibiotics and a $40 charge from urgent care. Sad because I'd been here once before for a pedicure with a great experience but won't be returning now. read more

Made an appointment prior to service. No walk ins. Service was stellar. Manicurist Crystal and pedicurist Tina were very careful about ensuring property health and safety service were provided, as gloves, masks, and all proper precautions were complied with. The owner Julie ensured we received the utmost care, as she took our temperature before entering, asked all customers to wash their hands with provided soap, warm water, paper towels, and hand sanitizer - everything was touchless to ensure no contamination between each customer. Every station had a plexiglas separation, and person was serviced with appropriate distancing in mind. So impressed. Of course we're coming back. Additionally, they have face coverings and face guards available to purchase at very reasonable price. read more

WE LOVE JULIE! My BFF and I came to Nail Care & Spa after searching for a nail place close by (and tired of traveling 30 miles for our mani/pedis). Walked in yesterday and Julie suggested we make an appt for today. 10AM my friend and I walked in, Julie had someone with her but she politely asked them to come back as we had appointments made. Julie kept the conversation constantly going and was an absolute pleasure. My nails look incredible and I couldn't be happier. THIS IS A HIDDEN GEM. Took me forever to find a good, consistent nail place and every time I come here it's exactly what I want. They are so sweet, especially Julie. Julie is my go to person, she really take her time in cleaning up your nails and making sure you leave happy with the color and shape of your nails. I always get gel manicure and they've lasted me 3 weeks but grant I do have to wash and sanitize my hands frequently working in the hospital. Here are a couple pictures of my nails. read more

I been to this place twice and both times I got excellent service. I walked with in pictures of designs I wanted from the web and I walked out with Pinterest perfect nails! Everyone does their best to make sure you leave happy--even if it means starting over. First appointment: mani and pedi. We realized the color was iffy midway through so we started over. They were so accommodating and really did want me to leave happy. (Thanks Julie!) Second appointment: I got a full set and a tricky design from Instagram and Ann was super meticulous about making sure the design was perfect! Completely satisfied again! Trying this place out for the first time since there was no wait there.. Bad decision. Peeling off and only day 4!!!! Never had this poor of acrylics done before . Paid $40 , tipped $5 for this crappy job. Lady was nice name was Carolina I believe. but common totally going back to my old nail salon in Carlsbad. Turning yellow right away too yuck! I called a few days before for an appointment with Julie. I came here from out of town because my husband is in training at Camp Pendleton. They were all very sweet and welcoming. Julie is very nice and did everything I asked, because i like more of a natural look with gel& filing. Definitely recommend to family and friends ! Can't wait to come back. read more

For it being along time since I have had my nails done. Nail Care & Spa gave me the best service I ever had! They we're very nice and greeted us as walked in. My friend who came with my was so sweet to treat me for my birthday:) I had Julie do a classic french tip. She did such a great job. Other salons always tend to go too hard with the nail file, kus there packed jam in a rush. She didn't. She was care to my need and gentle with her work. Since was my birthday she let me get a free design of a flower with a stud done by her nail designer Crystal. Which she herself hand painted the beautiful flowers. I had an amazing experience with Julie today! As you can see, she did an amazing job on my nails. I came in with my nails needing a lot of help and she explained to me how the whole dip nail process worked. It gives you the acrylic look but with a lighter feel and more natural look! This place is great! They have tons of colors for both gel and regular polish. These girls really know what they're doing. I went with my daughter for a girl day and they took care of us. Our nails were ruined by the previous place we went by filing our nails paper thin. Here, they didn't file the heck out of them, they actually fixed them so they would get strong and healthy again. They also do some amazing designs and they take their time to get it right. read more

The AI machine had remembered my music taste however, all my settings that were mentioned that would be saved were not and I had to re-Adjust them before starting (but that took only a minute and not a big deal at all) . The massage was good. I was hoping by the second time I would feel less lightheaded, but laying face down for a full 60 minutes is a bit too long for me, (I think 45 minutes might be better). The massage itself was great though and relaxing. After my massage, I headed up to the pool area (you are able to use the pool if you place a service over 45 mins long) and found a lounge chair around 11 AM. I ordered lunch from my lounge chair 11:30 getting their tacos, they were wonderful. I asked for them to be grilled not fried and they happily obliged. Great service both at the spa and pool area. The pool has a beautiful ocean view. It was a little on the busy side only because it was spring break, but I was still able to have an open lounge chair and there was space to hang out in the hot tub and the pool area with without it being too crowded. The restaurant right off the pool is absolutely adorable. Cute little themed areas are so tastefully done for small groups. The Seabird hotel is gorgeous!! I love the nautical feel throughout. It is very nicely decorated. After spending about two hours in the pool area, I headed back down to Sunny's Spa and enjoyed the amenities that were provided there. They have a beautiful large sauna, cold mist area, waiting area with a gorgeous ocean view and light snacks & beverages. I give the experience a 10 out of 10.

However, you get over that very quickly as everyone around you is doing the same thing. Hanna was the one who did my body scrub and she is one of the best that I've had. She was super gentle but really got in there and gave me a nice scrub. They have two different areas separated by men and women with a common area that we both share while wearing their provided uniform. They have a privates wet area that is separated by women and men. That's the area where you can shower and enjoy the Jacuzzi or the cold Plunge pool while being completely naked and getting the body scrubs. In the common area, they have a lounge where it's dimly lit calm and peaceful and you can just chill on the sofas. They also have 3 different saunas in the common area. They have light snacks, candy, water, and tea available. But would love to see more fresh fruits. Even though they share a large parking lot with the other businesses around them, it's very hard to find close parking nearby since they only have a few in front of their facility. Highly recommend getting there at least 30 minutes to an hour prior to your massage or body scrub time so that you can enjoy the wet area with the sauna and the Jacuzzis prior to getting your body scrub. I spent a good 3 hours there and I felt so relaxed after I was done.

This was definitely the worst massage parlor/day spa experience I have ever had…read more I was experiencing muscle pain in my lower back and neck so I decided to get a 30 minute massage after work. I drove on coast highway and stumbled upon this establishment. I was greeted by a short haired Asian lady who failed to smile or extend me any other courtesy. She matter-of-factly told me to walk down a hallway and go inside one of the rooms. The room was probably 5 by 10 foot with blank white walls and no music. This highlighted the lack of professionalism and care that was exhibited in this spa. The same Asian lady who originally greeted me ended up being my masseuse. I decided to not take my boxers off as a personal preference. As soon as she walked in she started to give me a hard time for leaving my boxers on, making me uncomfortable. She then proceeded to conduct the massage, which alternated between lazy skin rubbing and jamming her elbow into my joints. Despite telling her from the very beginning to focus on my lower back and neck, she ignored my wishes and just proceeded to do what was obviously her standard 30 minute massage. The customer's desires were completely irrelevant to her. When she did massage my painful areas, she would use excessive force by jabbing me with her elbow. She had the nerve to laugh at me when I would grunt due to the pain. Once the massage was finally done she walked out to let me get dressed. After a few minutes she walked back in and basically cornered my in the room demanding a tip. Since the massage cost $40, I decided that her efforts deserved a $5 tip (definitely too generous from my experience). When I gave her the $5 when proceeded to demand that she must get a $10 tip. At this point I was completely fed up and walked out of the day spa. This "masseuse" not only does not deserve a tip, she deserves to be fired. Sadly, she is just a reflection of the quality of the entire establishment. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Our first visit to this salon really was great. My husband has very tough toenails and Tina was wonderful in taking care of them. She was patient and very kind as well as efficient. Julie did my pedicure and was also very good. She has all the necessary distancing practices in place, including a shield between her and the guest while doing the pedicure. She checked our temperatures when we entered and had us wash our hands immediately. I highly recommend this salon and the two technicians that worked with us. We will most definitely go again.
