So this review comes a year too late, however, better late than never I guess. I learned a very valuable lesson. Never hire a mobile auto painter thinking it'll save you money. I had a bunch of rock chips and curb scrapes on the front bumper and some minor scratches and chips on the rear bumper so I called Colors On Parade. I give them one star because they responded quickly and gave what I thought at the time was a decent quote. I used their mobile paint service so they repainted the bumpers inside my garage. The rear bumper came out looking pretty good. Not perfect, but I was happy enough with it. The front bumper still had scuff marks and scrapes that I'm not sure how the technician could have missed. I ended up calling them back out because I just didn't like how the front turned out. The owner was super nice and sent someone back out the next week to fix it. It still ended up with flaws but I had been without the use of my car for several days as you have to let the paint dry/cure for several days after each paint job, so I thought I could live with the way it looked. Fast forward just a year and the front bumper paint is peeling off in several places. The paint was super thin so I also have more small rock chips than I ever had with the original factory paint. You can just tell they simply used very thin and cheap paint. I'm so upset I wasted so much money with them. I've now got an appointment with an actual body shop to have the bumper repainted properly next month. read more

I hope I got the right location, but I am definite about the company's name. Anyway, I had my car repainted by Vladimir in the past and was very satisfied, so I decided to reach out to him again for a quote for my daughter's car that had heavy oxidation on the bumper. He initially responded and gave me a reasonable quote but when I asked if the price was negotiable (because I was on a budget), he explained that his price was very competitive and then he never interacted with me again, despite my multiple texts to let him know that I had agreed to his asking price and that it was a college gift for my daughter. I noticed that he received all my messages based on his read receipts. I gave him plenty of time to respond in case he was extremely busy, but he never did. I felt his approach was very rude and unprofessional, especially when I gave him good business in the past. Since then, I have deleted his phone number and will never do business with him again or refer anyone! Smh read more

About a year after I purchased my brand new car some lovely person left a deep nasty scratch on the back lift gate of my SUV. Based on past experience I knew at a minimum it would cost about $500-$600 at a body shop to have it fixed, so despite it being a continued annoyance and an eyesore against the black paint, I reluctantly dealt with it for over a year. One day I heard about Colors on Parade and decided to check them out online. It was so easy and convenient to get a free estimate by taking a photo and uploading it directly to their website. Within 24hrs I got a call from Dennis in the Sacramento Regional Office and he gave me a quote practically half the cost it would be at a shop! I scheduled repairs within the following 2 weeks and Dennis showed up right on time on the day of the appointment. He's limited to doing certain repairs on Tues, Wed, & Thurs so I had to take a day off work (no big deal) and had him come to my house. They are mobile and open to going where you prefer, but he needed an electrical outlet and a place where there are no other cars parked close by so he did the job in my driveway. Half way through the job he had me come out to take a look at his progress so he could make sure I was happy with the repair, which meant a lot to me being the customer. We also looked at a few other wear & tear type scratches on other panels that he offered to touch up at no extra cost. After about 4 hours he was done and said that he would need to come back after everything was set and dry so he could do the sand and buff. I didn't expect there would be a 2nd appt. but he was able to schedule a later time the following week so he could finish up the job after I was home from work (about 5pm). After everything was said and done, the repairs came out beautifully and my car is looking new again! The cost was very reasonable and I would recommend them to anyone looking to have any type of minor collision work done. read more

My front bumper on my Honda Civic had a set of 3 scrapes of 3 each - down to the plastic and I had no idea how I did this or if someone ran something into my car in some parking lot. Fail #1: I called the business number a few different times with no answer. A little while later someone (assuming the owner) TEXTS ME back, instead of returning my call like a normal legit business, forcing me to have to communicate my needs through texting, not the best form of communication for auto body work... Pretty poor customer service. Fail #2: Whoever was texting me had me send them photos of the damage to my car and gave me an estimate. Cool. They said they could get me in on Friday (this was a Sunday) and to confirm on Wednesday. When I tried to confirm with them come Wednesday, their TEXTING responses were so delayed, that they didn't end up informing me til late Thursday that the time they had promised me for Friday was no longer available/wouldn't work for them. Great. TLDR: They wouldn't answer their phone, promised me an appointment and when it came time to confirm, bailed on me over text at the last minute after stringing me along for a week. RUDE! On top of that, the color match was noticeably off and the clear coat they sprayed back on was horribly orange peeled. Total waste of money. Have to take it to a pro body shop to fix it.
