The things you should know are: - Colour Tek is a completely mobile service, meaning that they came to our house and did all of the repairs and painting in our driveway. - I didn't fully understand how they could do this for a paint job, but he did a great job of masking off the car and working to make sure that nothing got in the paint. - Jesse showed up on time for the 9:30 appointment and was essentially done on time by around 5pm that night. He came back the following day to check on his work and buff out anything that was noted (which really wasn't much at all). - Jesse was professional, clean, friendly and very easy to deal with. I was super impressed at the job and quality of their work, and the paint job on those areas look excellent. He warranties his work so I feel very comfortable in having gone with Colour Tek to do this job. Overall, I would highly recommend their services. The trim pieces had started to spider crack from being parked in the heat at Sierra College for 10 years. The Collision Center coordinated ordering replacement parts with the Niello VW Parts Desk. They had all the parts on hand when we dropped the car off. Our estimator also coordinated with the Body Shop so our car was worked on by a technician familiar with this particular rather tricky restoration. We dropped the car off in the morning and the job was completed the next day. Jeffrey Douglas was our estimator. Jeffery spent considerable time researching and making sure the correct parts were ordered and on hand when we dropped the car off. He worked closely with the body shop to schedule a convenient time and even inspected the finished work before we picked up the car -- we couldn't be happier! Outstanding craftsmanship, flawless work! This was a complicated job involving delicate chrome trim removal and replacement of the same parts around the window frames and door sills, which enclosed the piano black panels that needed replacement due to sun damage. Our 10 year old car now looks brand new. Thank you Jeffrey for your attention to detail; and, kudos to the body shop technician for their careful restoration.

It was a smooth booking process online, I was able to schedule a 11:30am appointment. Location was easy to find in downtown and has enough parking space. Went into the office to check in around 11:23am. However found out the technician that does smog went out to lunch and will be back in an hour. So I will have to wait and come back. I was not expecting that and was slightly annoyed since I made the appointment time for 11:30am and expected to be done in 30 minutes and get back to work. If there was an appointment time available and someone booked it, I would expect a business to honor the customer's time and continue with the business before going on lunch. If an employee is to go to lunch, then do not make that time available for booking. So I gave the business the benefit of the doubt and just went with it...I just dropped the car off and walked to a near by area for lunch and wait for an hour and half. Overall, my smog check was done a little before 1pm with under 8 minutes to spare. It was done at the time they promised..and the person in the office was nice. All in all..I'm okay with the visit..probably will come back but probably will not book an appointment at 11:30am again, maybe earlier or later. But do check it out for your smog test..

I took my car here to repair damage from a sideswipe. Overall, the repair itself was done well, and the process was mostly smooth. The staff was friendly and customer service was good, though not exceptional. Unfortunately, several issues came up when I picked up my vehicle. First, they charge a 3% fee for credit card payments. While this may be disclosed somewhere, it was still an unpleasant surprise and felt excessive. Second, because I removed my key from its keychain, they taped it to their paperwork to keep track of it. When they returned my key, tape and sticky residue were left all over it. An employee told me that rubbing alcohol would remove it, but even after spending considerable time cleaning it, the residue was still difficult to get off. This could have been easily avoided by simply putting my key in a small bag. Third, it appears they removed the trunk mat, possibly to access the tools underneath. If that was necessary, that's understandable. However, I was never informed that they would be accessing the trunk, which contained personal items. Those items were clearly not handled with much care, as they came back dirty. In addition, the trunk mat itself appeared to have been stepped on or otherwise mishandled, as shown in the photos. Finally, they did not clean up after themselves. Between the condition of the trunk area and the residue left on my key, it felt like attention to detail and respect for the customer's property were lacking. Other personal items in my car had been moved around for seemingly no reason and they also left various tools, papers, and items in my car. I called the shop to discuss these concerns before posting this review, but no one answered the phone. While the repair work itself was solid, the overall customer experience and care shown toward my vehicle were below average. I also had to take my car back in a second time a week after picking it up the first time because they forgot to check something when they were redoing my side panel. They were very apologetic and offered a free gift card (unknown amount) to get my car detailed. So instead of 2/5 I am giving 3/5. For these reasons, unfortunately, I cannot recommend this shop. 3/5. read more

I don't ever really do reviews, but I thought it was well deserved. I actually found Trino's Auto Body on Yelp by doing an Internet search. I had gotten quotes from 4 other shops in the area, but Johnathon called me after looking at the damage and gave me a great quote to get the work done that beat everyone's price. With that said I was a little worried that it would not be the quality of other work that I had gotten in the past since the price was cheaper. He told me that if I dropped the car off to him on Thursday that I could have it back on Sunday since I needed the car for work on Monday. I dropped the car of and came back to look at it on Friday and was wonderfully surprised with the quality of work and care that my car was getting. They needed to do extra work to do the job right that they had not quoted me and they did not try to charge me for it. They said it needed to get done in order to do the job right. During the repair process they sent me pictures of the progress of the repairs. They are normally closed on Sunday, but Johnathon opened the shop to make sure I could get my car. The color of my car is one of the hardest colors to match and they did such an awesome job with the matching and painting that you can not see that the car was ever in a shop. My 2002 Toyota Tacoma had a cracked windshield and a serious amount of rust damage across the cab roofing that needed to be shielded away for the windshield to be replaced. After searching the internet, I went with Trino's based on the quantity and quality of their reviews, and they did not disappoint. I called and they immediately had me bring it in so they could inspect the damage and diagnosed it. The people I worked with were Karina, Johnny, and Maria, and all 3 were very competent, friendly, and personable. They took a look at the damage and explained everything to me in a way that was easy to understand and provided a reasonable estimate and timeline, even offering to replace the windshield as part of the job. Fast forward a few days and the truck looks beautiful! They did an amazing job on it and if you didn't know any better you'd almost think it was brand new. The total price was right in line with their estimate and the work was completed in accordance with their timeline. They had my car for about three weeks and backed all of their work with a lifetime guarantee. I bought my Camaro used, and after removing the wrap, I was left with a roof that had scratches ALL OVER IT (guess I know why they wrapped it), and a hood that was yellow. I brought the car to Trino's to have the hood and roof painted black because I never wanted to deal with a wrap again. There are literally no words to express how excited I was when I got my car back. She looks AMAZING! Friend recommended Trino's and I'm happy I listened to them. Massive thank you to Trino's. My dad's car sustained some serious damage to the front part of the roof, from a branch that fell on it during the winter storm we had at the end of January. The mechanic we go to recommend Trino's. My dad gave them a call and right after let his insurance know he wanted his car to go to Trino's. They arranged for the car to get picked up on Monday 2/08. Three weeks later we picked up the car on a Friday 2/26 and are very happy with the work they did. The car is looking great w/ it's new roof, windshield, and the paint job. I would highly recommend Trino's Auto Body shop. Alex is a great guy! My car needed a replacement bumper after somebody rear ended me. He didn't charge me anything for an estimate, and then had the work done in a day. When I went to go pick up my car, he let me know that he replaced my interior lining above my back left tire but it wasn't included in my estimate. He didn't charge me at all for it, even though it would have been an extra 70-80 dollars! They even gave my car a wash. I will definitely take my car here next time it needs work. read more

Relux made a great first impression and initially appeared to be a professional, reputable shop. Unfortunately, as the repair process continued, my experience gradually declined due to repeated mistakes, poor workmanship, and a lack of accountability. When I picked up my vehicle, the newly painted front bumper did not match the rest of the vehicle. The color difference was obvious. Relux's proposed solution was to blend the paint into the hood. I argued that the insurance company should also approve blending the adjacent fenders to achieve a proper color transition. To make matters worse, Relux forgot to reinstall my front lip, requiring me to make another trip back to the shop. The insurance company later denied Relux's supplemental request after their adjuster determined the color mismatch was due to poor color matching by the shop and was therefore Relux's responsibility to correct and not the insurance company's. I initially believed the denial was simply the insurance company refusing to pay, but that was not the case. Throughout the process, Relux never accepted responsibility for the issues. I agreed to let them repaint the bumper because I wanted the repair done correctly, with the understanding that they would start over and achieve a closer factory color match. During my second visit, I performed a more thorough inspection and noticed the bumper was also misaligned, with the driver's side corner sitting higher than the passenger side. I pointed this out and was told it would take about five minutes to fix. While waiting, I heard loud tapping coming from the shop and hoped it wasn't being done on my vehicle. After taking my car home, I noticed something new. In the exact area where the bumper had been realigned, the paint now showed several small dents or impressions that became visible under certain lighting conditions. I returned to Relux to address the damage. Several employees gathered around my vehicle which felt aggressive, but instead of acknowledging the issue, I was met with excuses. Eventually, the manager, Gain, came out and told me they would not be helping me any further because they had already "gone above and beyond." Gain even told me, "If you find another shop to address or fix it, have them give me a call." When I asked him to clarify, he said he would pay for the repairs if it was within reason. I then asked if he would put that commitment in writing, but he refused. By that point, I was completely exhausted and frustrated by the entire experience. After multiple return visits, repeated issues, and what I felt was a constant effort to deflect responsibility, I decided to leave. I walked away feeling like my concerns were being dismissed rather than genuinely addressed. From my perspective, going above and beyond would have meant taking accountability, correcting the color match properly the first time, reinstalling parts that were removed, and ensuring no additional damage occurred during the repair process. Instead, I left with a vehicle that required multiple return visits, had paint quality concerns, fitment issues, and ultimately new damage that the shop refused to address. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Relux Collision at this time. If quality workmanship and accountability are important to you, I would encourage you to carefully inspect any repairs before accepting your vehicle. Do be so easily enticed as i was with their deductible assistance unless you're okay with C-grade work. They also entice you to write them reviews in exchange for $25 gift cards if that tells you something about their online reputation.
