I just got a new 2020 Chevy Equinox and unfortunately hit my garage while backing out and got a dent about 5'' in diameter in the front right fender. Searched around the area and received a few quotes (both from body shops, and mobile repair) and ended up choosing Gold Hammer because of how easy they were to communicate with. After messaging Gold Hammer on Yelp for a quote, they returned my inquiry with a quote within 1 hour, which was very pleasing. I received a few others from body shops that were nearly double, if not triple of that I got quote from gold hammer. Scheduling was a piece of cake as they were accommodating and able to set up an appointment (to come to me!) within 2 days. The day before my appointment, I received a quote for 15$ less than what Gold hammer had quoted, and they had no problem with matching that quote. Which made me even more happy because of the fantastic customer service and communication this company has. Sometimes its as easy as communicating effectively and in a timely manner that will bring business your way. I was super stoked they could come to me and fix this dent as soon as 2 days after I contacted them. Well, stupid me, I bought one of those $10 dent popper outter things on Amazon (actually have worked in the past lol) and tried everything I had to get the dent out. I even banged on the inside of the fender since I could reach it, and tbh it made it a lot worse. I was nervous that Gold hammer was not going to honor the original quote they game me because I left this part out during my inquiry. Welp, here went nothin as I scheduled the appointment and hoped for the best... The technician showed up to my house right on time. All he needed was a small space to work (literally about 6 'x 6') and I let him work his magic. Before he started, he noticed that the dent had already been worked on and noted that most people would immediately walk away because the dent was too far gone to be repaired. I mentioned that I did try to get it out myself with the dent popper outter thing and he noted that those things are the absolute worst way to go about dents and should NEVER be used. Unfortunately, I learned the hard way. Anyway,this guy was the real deal and still offered to repair the dent at the SAME quote he gave me in the beginning. The dent was also on a ridge line and he mentioned it would be difficult to make it look perfect because of this. Anyway, after about 1 hours 55 min (told them I needed it done within 2 hour max so I could go get my windows tinted), the technician called and said he was finished. I walked down to my garage and was surprised beyond my belief at how the fender looked. This thing looked BRAND NEW as if there was never even a dent there in the first place. I was stunned. He said "I did the best I could and only me and you can probably see the dent", but to be honest, I think only he could see it because my eyes definitely could not. I was so stoked that the dent was gone, I was more than happy to pay them the original quote and not even bother trying to get the extra $15 out of them like they had promised. I know I should have mentioned I worked on it previously so i did not want to do them wrong since they just did me right. I am so impressed at the work they did on my car that I cannot recommend them enough. They are WAY more than reasonable on the price and can absolutely get whatever dent you have out perfectly and in a jiffy. The tech arrived and described himself as a perfectionist. I would end up agreeing with him. The tech (Sergio) went to work and continued to work after nightfall as he had brought several work lights. The repair took about 3 or 4 hours. I have a 2022 Tesla Model 3. I got a ding on the body line crease below the front passenger door handle. This is the absolute worst car and place to get a dent. Two PDR tech's told me they couldn't get to it. One was a guy I've used for seven years on my BMW, F150, and Lexus. The other guy recommended I leave the dent and learn to live with it because that spot on a Tesla is impossible to access without drilling major holes in the door jamb. Sergio from Golden Hammer assured me he could remove the dent without drilling and if he couldn't there would be no charge. Two hours later the dent was completely gone. There was no trace of a dent ever being there. I watched him do it and have to say this guy is extremely talented. He has 30 years experience and it showed. First off, I highly recommend Sergio and his service. Over the holiday Labor Day Weekend, a small roof dent occurred by own doing on my Audi RS5 Sportback while I was unloading my mountain bike. I contacted Sergio via phone on Labor Day, Monday. Surprisingly they replied back and even more surprising they were able to do the job the same day. The only catch was that I had to bring my car to him as he was not doing any mobile service on the holiday. Fortunately, he did not live too far. He assessed the car and admitted it would be a difficult job due to being on the roof and no access under the roof unless the interior trim was removed, which he did not recommend. He did promise me though he would do his best despite the limitations and it would "80-90%" better. He seemed confident in his work, so I took up his offer. Well, after the job was done I can say it's 100% better, as if no dent was ever present. Partly because Sergio was creative enough that he was actually able to find access via a cable cutout hole at the trunk hatch.
