After already dealing with paint defects, taillight issues, and weeks without my brand-new 2025 Dodge Durango GT Plus, I returned for a headlight issue. I waited over 4 hours, only to be told the dealership would replace my headlight by taking one from another Durango in their showroom instead of ordering a proper new OEM part. When I asked for clarification, the General Manager, Alicia Lino, actually shouted at me, saying: "You didn't buy a Lamborghini. This is the last thing I'm doing for you. Go sit and wait in service." This is the kind of treatment I received after buying a brand-new vehicle. Completely unprofessional, disrespectful, and unacceptable. Not only have I been left without my Durango for weeks, ignored by staff, and promised compensation ($500) that was never honored -- now I am being openly disrespected by the dealership's General Manager. I brought my car in under warranty to replace the radiator which had a pinhole size leak. They did a pressure test they found it, they didn't have one in stock but they did order it which was 8 weeks away, which is understandable in these times. It actually showed up early. So I went in and they told me how long it would take, give me a courtesy car, which Not only was extremely dirty but the tire pressure sensor light was on and the alignment off. they called me later that day to tell me it was ready and I had to pay over $100 because I had an aftermarket air intake and they had to spend extra time on it. I told him, first of all, it's not aftermarket it says Mopar right on it, that I purchased from your dealership and it is actually smaller than the stock one so if anything you guys have more room to work on. When plan A didn't work, he went with Plan B and asked me if I installed it myself. I said why are you going to void my warranty because I installed a part that a chimp could basically do? Do you not know I am a technician and I've been doing my job for over 26 years? So he erased the $100 just like that. Seems a little bit too easy, why did he charge me in the first place then? When I got to my car I decided to double check their work. Being cold and wet outside I didn't have a lot of time to inspect it but the first thing I did see was the prop Rod which should have been placed across the front and clipped in was actually placed across the fender where there is no clip and it would have started rattling once I started driving on the highway. I will be having one of our guys check their work on Monday, I'm pretty sure I will find more things wrong with the repair read more

The service here is atrocious! They consistently pass the buck, lose parts, blame owners, each other, anyone they can think of for their errors and there's some kind of error with EVERY SINGLE APPOINTMENT. Installing my roof rack, they lost the clips to cover the side rails new side rails and tried to keep the old ones! I bought tires and it took 4 people and two days to order them. Each of those 4 people also gave different quotes for the same tires and then they misplaced the wheel lock and blamed me. The staff is literally abusive, it's like their job is to create problems. After using this dealership for many years for my service, I booked oil change and my free oil change and piece of mine inspection, which was going to cost about $60 when I went to my appointment they told me my engine air filter may need to be replaced and it was gonna be about $500. The air filters only about $20 and only takes 10 minutes to put in so I said no they told me I would have to pay $120 from my oil change and it wouldn't be free anymore, and I would lose my oil change for life because of it. Purchased my jeep wrangler from this location and love it, however beyond disappointed with the service department as ive been having water leakage from rain that pools in my passenger side door and onto the floor. They have a third party that specializes in seals, however after 3 times of getting the seal fixed it is still happening and ive been told by the service department that they cant do anything about it cause it's a third party provider. We've been looking for a great deal on a used van all summer. Went to a few dealerships and spoke to different salespeople - each one made me feel uncomfortable and made misogynistic comments that not only made me feel uncomfortable, but certainly made me not want to benefit them with such a large purchase. I went in with specific expectations and they pushed each one past its limit. I was made to feel like they we're doing me favours and I'd be stupid to not buy from them. It was demeaning. Enter Columbia Chrysler Dodge Jeep. We saw an ad online for a NEW (2017) Dodge Caravan for a ridiculously low price. On a whim I clicked the Contact Us button and literally asked, "What's the catch?". Within 15 minutes I received a text from Alicia at Columbia Chrysler who was on her day off, but responded anyway. She answered all of my questions and explained that there was no catch, they were clearing out the new 2017s they still had in order to make room for the 2019s. We texted back and forth for a day or two and set up a time to meet. Alicia made me feel comfortable and it was refreshing to be speaking with a woman after all the domineering men I'd spoken to this summer. We weren't able to meet with Alicia, so she set us up to meet with her partner Blake. She sent me a sassy and hilarious photo of him so we knew which person to look for. We met Blake and he showed us around the vehicle we asked about. He explained the ins and outs (something the salespeople at other dealerships hadn't done - I had to ask questions and they often didn't know the answers. One even said, "Oh just ignore that, it's not important." I googled and found out what the piece was in seconds and it WAS important.) We took it for a test drive and fell in love. Blake was super personable, laughed at our lame parent jokes, and made us really comfortable. Blake introduced us to Tyler in financing who was incredibly real and no BS. We talked like old pals (I feel like we should have each had a beer in hand) and he worked us through the financing stuff which is typically so stressful. He hooked us up with extra warranties and other goodies and sent us through to the insurance guy, Jerrick who was late for a family birthday party, but stayed late to get us sorted. We drove away not feeling like we had just signed our life away on a four wheeled container for Goldfish and Cheerios, but like we had purchased safety and joined a family that will take care of us for the entire life of our new vehicle. Unprofessional behaviour During the final stages of our deal (which later failed) both the business office and our salesman demonstrated unprofessional behaviour which lead to me pulling out of the deal. While pulling out of the deal my salesman became angry and dressed me down, placing the blame on me for the failed deal when it truly laid on the antics of the dealership. The salesman was angry and spoke to me in such a way that I would never ever suggest anyone shop there. I would not trust anything said here or take deals at face value. Deals fall through, placing blame is not necessary, shake hands and go on your way. Horrible and most stressful experience at this dealership!!! Do not waste your time and energy here. We went to purchase Jeep Grand Cherokee 2019. On the first day we were told that our loan has been approved @ 3.99%,.Deposit of $1000 was held to hold the deal. After two days we got a call from the dealership that our vehicle has arrived. We went to dealership to sign the papers and do the formalities. When we went to meet the finance office, they tricked us into registering the vehicle on my name even before signing the bill of sale. And then, when we went to sign our loan approval, they changed the interest rate at the last moment to 5.99%,. This was certainly not the rate of interest that we had agreed upon. They blamed the Sales person for miscommunication of interest rates and put a lot of pressure on us to take the deal at 5.99%. The Finance Office told us that we will never be approved at 3.99%. We felt betrayed and tried to back out of the deal and as we were leaving the finance office, they told us suddenly that it is approved for 3.99%! At this time we felt that there is something fishy going on about this deal, and we walked out from there. The sales person called us back to meet with the general manager next day and rectify their mistake, and if we wanted to back out of the deal, it is fine too. Next day we met with the GM and explained what happened in details. He blatantly ignored our concerns, and informed us that the miscommunication was due to bank's server. Our question remained unanswered, how in the world finance office told that we would never get 3.99 % and within less than 30 seconds that changed back to 3.99 %? The GM was very rude, and threatened us that we must take this deal otherwise they are not going to refund our deposit money. We told them that we will not be taking the deal, and we do not wanna be in business with people who are not transparent with the customer. After a couple of days, we got a phone call from the finance office stating that the finance employee who was dealing with our file did not check it properly and was terminated on account of this incident. So, our question is, GM told us that it is a bank issue while the finance office told us it is their employee's screw up. ,,,, which is it? Either way, why is deposit still being held? I was in on Thursday and on Saturday I picked up my new Laredo. They are polite, courtesies, even entertain you while you are waiting. They always treat me nice, and I never felt being pushed into anything. They offered a deal I offered mine, and we worked it out. By the way they don't work on commission. There were issues prior to the sale (poor sales floor experience on first visit) which was finally resolved with sales manager, albeit under pressure. Vehicle was delivered with only 1 set of keys, 2nd set was found 2 weeks later. Issues with back up camera since delivery and was diagnosed not working by service dept. 2 weeks later. No resolution with sales about repairs. Have to pay diagnosis cost for a vehicle delivered within 2 weeks. Was going to buy another van for the company but will take business elsewhere. Service and parts department outdated compared with modern import dealership, had far better experience with Surrey Honda, Carter Honda, Brian Jessel BMW in past years. May consider taking the dealership to small claims to resolve the repair. Wing read more

Salesman seems like a nice enough, honest, guy. I ask him about the history of a vehicle that I'm looking at (2018 Ford Escape Titanium), ask if it was a rental, and he tells me it absolutely wasn't. He shows me the "CarFax" where the vehicle is supposedly not registered as a rental vehicle. Okay, great, looks goods. Take a couple of days looking at it. Driving it to show my wife and a low pressure warning light comes on, requiring me to stop and air up all four tires because they're low. Also feeling that the way this vehicle is handling is a bit odd. Check the oil, it has been overfilled. Anyway, 4 hours of my time invested (time is money) and I come across an Avis receipt that was dropped in the door compartment from a customer when this vehicle WAS AN AVIS RENTAL. When we returned the car, explaining that the law clearly states that dealers must disclose to customers if a used vehicle was a lease or rental vehicle, their service manager makes all these excuses, explaining that every used car in Canada was a rental (yeah, right...) and, after more of that nonsense, half-heartedly apologises, not even recognizing that we were wasting our time and energy. Oh, and he says that it would have been disclosed when we bought the car. Really? When? When we already have signed off on a loan? I do truly (hope) believe that the salesman wasn't aware it was a rental, but that's even scarier/shady to consider that the management isn't properly informing their own staff about the history of vehicles. Also makes me wonder if they're doctoring their CarFax reports, as that should clearly state that it was owned by a rental company (Avis) and operated as such. Proof's in the photos folks. Then the rep I was talking to never replied back again. Told them no to call me as I work nights, and that I was not interested. Even blocked them as spam.They kept calling , emailing and texting me after that. Then someone else called me and bothered me asking about my interest, I told them which vehicle- then he said it was sold already. So they harass you not even knowing what the hell they are doing. Brought my 2012 dodge ram 1500 that I bought at this dealership to the service for a detailing work, and look at a inverter plug who never worked since I bought the vehicle due to a missing cable who never been installed at the factory. First, looks like the detailing work have been done by students at a fund raising... A lot of cut corners, obvious missing spots, and the rear carpet was still so wet, it created condensation in my windows for days. About the work to find the problem with my inverter, I got told that the cable was missing, (which I obviously figured out) and to fix they would have to remove the passenger seat and rip off the carpet, which would cost me thousands of dollars, as my vehicle is no longer under warranty... I just to clarify again that it's a missing cable from the factory, and not a defective part. But seems like they don't want to take any responsibility of the screw up while assembling the vehicle. I paid $238.00 for the detailing thinking that would be better than any other independent detailing places who where charging around $95.00. I am so disappointed of the work. And they still charged my $65.00 to tell me that the inverter's cable was missing. All they had to do for that is to bend over and look underneath the passenger seat, where the inverter is located... To add on top of that, at the total bottom of the invoice, they are charging me $35.00 for shop supplies... After asking what was theses fees, they told me it's for the protection cardboard they are using to protect the carpet when they sit in the vehicle. I found the protection in my truck which is a simple piece of paper on the ground, driver's side. Pretty expensive for a piece of paper that you can find for free on the table underneath your plate at any kind of restaurants... That is by far the worst customer experience I ever felt in my life. Nothing worst than getting ripped off by the place who is bragging about the customer service they are suppose to offer you, specially after my third vehicle from this dealership for the last 8 years. They should be ashamed of the way they disrespect the customers after we spend over $50k for a vehicle. They can stop calling me and sending me advertising to upgrade my vehicle, as they lost my business for ever. Still love the dodge ram, but can't stand Columbia Chrysler anymore. We were in the market for a specific vehicle, which Columbia Chrysler had. This was the third dealership we went to, and by far the most pleasant experience. It was a used a vehicle (only 1 year old). When we went in, the first question that was asked was whether or not we had an appointment. I found this odd as I have never had this experience at a dealership, and this isn't for a Rolls or a Bentley. Anyway, the salespeople were there to help. The atmosphere was nice, and no pressure from the salespeople at all, and they answered all of our questions. After we decided to purchase the vehicle, at a fair price (even now we feel it was fair, 2 weeks later), it was on to financing. This was the only negative. There was a lot of upselling pressure, even though I asked him to stop. He was freindly about it, but it was quite a turn off. In future, if a customer says no, please don't continue. This wasn't a deal breaker, but could have been. Overall, we are quite happy with our experience (they even through in a Smart TV), and the vehicle. I would be remiss if I didn't mention the fact that they delivered our vehicle, from Richmond to Abbotsford, at no charge, on our schedule... definitely above and beyond in my opinion. My wife was in the market for a new car - original owner of a 2000 Honda CRV: car was still in decent shape for its age, but it was time for a new ride. Visited several different car dealerships in and around Richmond (Richmond Mini, Richmond Honda, Richmond Chrysler) - drove lots of cars, but eventually ended up at Columbia Chrysler on Minoru - we were directed to this location to look at the Fiat 500X, Fiat's "SUV" - certainly bigger than the hatchback, but small enough to be considered a compact car. Spoke with David Wu, a newer sales rep at this location, and from the get go we had an amazing experience dealing with him. Columbia Chrysler operates on fixed commission, so there was no pressure from David to try and upsell us on anything that we didn't need, and gave us full disclosure on the vehicle we were about to test drive. FYI, this Fiat is a fantastic drive, and the second time I've driven a newer generation Fiat -- definitely recommend this car, especially after driving the Mini Clubman/ Countryman (both excellent cars as well, but pricier and less visibility). Organizing this deal was virtually seamless - we discovered that David was fairly new to the dealership and the car industry, but with previous sales experience selling high end watches - he was a pleasure to work with and secured a deal for our car that was well below our top price, and for a car that was almost brand new. (He even drove my wife to the bank when she had to get the certified cheque). He, and all of David's colleagues were very pleasant to deal with - David, Jackie, Christine and Winson (the ICBC rep!) - all very professional. If your considering a Fiat, Jeep, or any Chrysler product, pay these guys a visit - very comfortable atmosphere and no pressure attitude.
