It's false advertising as usual, because it's in the USA (specifically Texas, on the NW edge of the greater Houston area), rather than in Colombia, or Columbia SC, or the District of Columbia, so no matter which way you look at it, it's a lie. But I'm not one to go Medellin in other people's business naming rights. I'm just trying to Cali it as I see it. I just hope the guy who works here that was complaining that his wife is always at the bar trying to pick up other girls is not as psycho as he sounds. He said he might just buy a gun and go to the Barranquilla. I told him that guns should be outlawed. And so should false advertising about where a store is. IT'S NOT IN COLUMBIA. But recently, having been to the store a few more times now, we like it even more. They have a bunch of great stuff, and if it was just a little cheaper - despite the outlet prices which make it cheaper, supposedly - then we would probably give it five stars. Went out to the Outlet Mall for boots hoping to find a better buy than at the Mall. Stock was limited, some shoes were actually really ugly in my opinion or it could be I am getting to old for the trendy fashions. I came for a pair of classic boots and they had none so I left empty handed and with $ intact. Guess it wasn't so bad afterall. Went back to regular Mall and bought two pairs of Cole Haan, including my classic boots. read more

I don't ever come on the internet to give reviews on stores or restaurants but I came into Columbia Sportswear to return a whole bunch of shorts and shirts because it didn't fit my husband right.Mercedes was the person to help us at the register! The best customer service i've ever experienced! She was very sweet , told us in advice the process would take a little longer, very patient with us Had a conversation with us about our plans this weekend! It was with a surprising amount of pleasure that I went to the Columbia Sportswear Outlet along 290 recently. I had been secretly dreading shelling out the dough for a rain proof jacket. Though I had looked at LL Bean and found one that would work perfectly, perfection has its price: $169. I would not describe myself as the "outdoorsy" type, but after having tolerated many a trip to Columbia with my mother, this time I was able to find a selection of items that will work perfectly for me. The prices are AMAZING. Instead of over $150, my rain jacket was only $39. Unlike the outlets which barely take off 10% from the regular stores, this one manages to have a great selection combined with low low prices. The salepeople are quite... attentive. There were three people working the store, and each probably came up to us maybe five times asking if we needed help. I can't fault them though. They were all very nice, and they weren't pushy. I will definitely keep this place in mind for my outerwear needs. read more

Best sales found here!! Some of the items are identical to what is sold at Academy. After applying different coupons and sales in the store, you can get a $250 winter coat for $40. This is definitely a man's one stop shop! The sales associates are also very helpful and willing to assist if you can't find something you need. read more

I was at the cypress outlet today. While browsing I decided to stop by and speak to the store manager about some return issue I was having. The manager and his team were very friendly, gracious and kind. Needless to say, he resolved my issue and made me feel I was a valued customer and our patronage matters. I have over thirty Cole Haan shoes right now. I know I have a problem. My favorite are zerogrands and grand os. They are both usually Wingtips and Monkstraps and very traditional classic designs with new technology infused into their soles. A pop of vibrant colors, traditional craftsmanship and quality products make Cole Haan products stand out. I absolutely love their brief case and other goods as well. read more

After years of saying no to ski trips (what can I say, I'm lazy, my idea of a vacation is sitting on a beach with a margarita) I finally said yes, to a group of friends. We scored a great deal to Vail, after the realization that I would need a new wardrobe! After heading over to Sun and Ski, and REI, it dawned on me that there was a Columbia outlet store in Cypress, and off I went, venturing OTL. The store in the Cypress outlets isn't huge, but it has what you would need to go skiing. I quickly found a super cute (very important!) ski jacket with shell for $100. Ski pants were $80, and they had a good selection on colors of white, black, patterned, and various other colors. They also have socks, boots, hiking apparel, fleece, running clothes, and lots of mens and womens jackets, ect. They also have UT shells, and LSU gear. The service was very friendly, and quick. After looking at the prices at Sun and Ski, and REI, I was a lit scared about how much this impromptu ski trip was going to cost me. The best part are the prices, now mind you Columbia isn't North face or Spyder, but for a first time skiier or just the basics, it will do just fine. I also saved 10% giving them my email address for future coupons, and a $30 gift card to use in December for purchasing over $150. All in all, for what I got it was a fantastic deal! read more

This place always has the best deals and the best prices be aware that they do offer student discounts and many more discounts if you return. I also encourage you to ask them when the new shipments get in as many of the sizes disappear due to its location at an outlet mall. However Columbia is the best brand for any outdoorsman or worker. I am in love with Cole Haan shoes in particular the zerogrand. I have purchased several and my last was at this outlet store. There was a particular pair I was interested in purchasing so I called the store to see if they had them. I spoke with Alex and Alex went out of his way to help me. He sent me pictures only to find out that they didn't have my size. He went so far as to find them at another store and talk to the manager and ask them to extend the discount that I would have gotten at his store. This took a lot of time and just to give me great customer service he did it. If you go there ask for Alex. He is big on professional and customer focused. read more

This is not an outlet store, all their prices are drastically high compare to their own online website and they won't match it. They have completely different policy from their online store which does not make sense. You'd think that you will get a much better deal since it's an outlet store but you are wrong, their online website has much better pricing compare to the outlet store. I was looking at a pair of shoes for $119 at the outlet store and the same exact shoe was listed for $71.10 on their own website. The manager was rude and does not care to lose a customer, I saved more than $40 by buying the same exact shoe from their online store. Won't recommend this store! read more
