I snagged some 70's style jeans that were originally $79.95 Marked down to $20 I paid $13. And a cute pair of green color downtown Khaki shorts that were originally $39. For $8 bucks. Service was very good as well. The manager and his team member looked up the two items different sizes online offers However I managed to located my size in the jeans in store. As for the green shorts I wish they had one size up, since the feedback was they ran on the smaller side. But it was the only pair in store, and online was only marked down 15-20% off retail rate (about $29). So I settle for the $8 pair. Still a score!!!!

Often at other stores, employees will tell you it looks nice whether it does or not so they will get the sale. At this store, if a piece of clothing isn't flattering, they'll say, "Hmm... Of course this is not that, and of course they don't sell those kinds of boots here (but they should). What they do sell are perhaps the largest array of Texas and Cowboy Style and Cowgirl too, boots, that you'll find anywhere in Greater Houston, probably anywhere in Texas. If prices or service matched the amazing selection, they might get that 5th star, but neither prices nor service are bad enough to go below 4, they're just a bit hit or miss. I do think it's a quintessentially Texas experience, and as you can see from the photo, Barbi absolutely loves it here.

All you hav it do is sign up and you receive a lovely reusable bag. Last year my bag was orange and this year it's irredecent with pink handles. They provide a DJ and DIY photo station. They also provide a balloon booth for kids. You also, get a list of participating stores that offer a discount for this weekend as well. Some stores offer great value and others just have a glass of champagne. Can't wait to next year!

It should actually be named "Houston Premium Stores." There is virtually NO outlet prices on anything. Adidas store had a great selection, but proved my lack of outlet prices when I viewed a particular shoe that was labeled: Retail price: $100, our price: $100. Go figure! Selection at many of the other stores was minimal. They all appeared to have off-retail styles but with regular retail prices. Not so sure I'd made a special trip here for any of their usual stores. Only saving grace was that a Birkenstock store has opened here, which means that I won't need to drive downtown to Rice Village if I want a new pair of Birks!

Before Houston opened their two Uniqlo locations, we would make it a point to shop there whenever we visited New York, Florida and California, so I'm really glad they finally opened two locations here. Their sales are always worth checking out, and I've found some great deals over the years. The checkout process is also incredibly easy and efficient. I think it's so cool that you just place your items in the bin and have the total calculated automatically without scanning anything. Definitely bring your own bag though! They charge for paper bags, but they do sell cloth reusable bags, too!

I know there are locations in The Woodlands and at the Katy Mills Mall. In the past, my husband has purchased Tommy Bahama shirts at Nordstrom, but this store has a much great selection. We ventured in here on Black Friday and found that even though the Galleria was busy, this store wasn't very busy. They don't run specials like the other stores often do because they send their "deals" to the outlet location in Katy Mills. The service here was attentive, even if I found one of the ladies hovering over us in an annoying way. I guess it was obvious we were buying shirts and not wasting their time, so we became some type of prize. Ugh. The selection here is great. They have a wide variety of clothes and sizes. There are several dressing rooms in the back BUT the lighting inside the dressing rooms is dim and overly yellow, so you have to step out of the room for each piece of clothing, what a strange set up. When more sizes are needed, employees are quick to check the back. The prices here are high, but the shirts were all pure silk. Most shirts we looked at ran $120 - 180 each. Overall, a great place to get some nice relaxed shirts.
