I was looking for a pair of shoes since the airline that I took to Orlando lost my luggage, or what they would call delayed my luggage. I eventually did get my luggage but I didn't have my check in luggage for a few days. I walked through the aisles of the ladies shoe section. Found a few shoes that interested me and tried on a few pairs. In the end, I decided to pick up two pairs of shoes. While I was looking for shoes to try, the 2 employees working the store had asked me if I needed help or if I was still doing fine. During my visit, I had to use the restroom and the employees let me into a clean restroom in a hidden room, by the register (just thought I would make mention in case you find yourself in the same situation). When I was paying for it two pair of shoes, I ended up signing up for the rewards club (free) so that I can earn points on all of my purchases. And now I get coupons in my email inbox (which now makes me want to buy more shoes, lol). I didn't need any help during my shopping visit but could get it if I needed by any of the 2 employees working the store. If I lived in this area and needed to buy more shoes, I would come back here again.

At NO store did a sales person say hello or ask if they could help me find something. I walked into this Famous Footwear and was delighted to find it clean and well lit. The employee welcomed me and showed me how the store was arranged. She was so friendly and polite! It was great. I ended up finding the shoes I needed for an event tomorrow. I wish I remembered the rep's name, but her number is 307764 and I remember her nametag said that she is an Assistant Manager. She deserves a pat on the back (and a raise!). She is great.

While the shopping experience itself was pleasant, two of the items I purchased turned out to be too big. The next day, I made the trip back from Ocala to Orlando--an hour and a half drive--to return the items. Upon entering the store on July 18, I was greeted warmly by the young woman at the entrance. However, the interaction at the register was a completely different story. The cashier asked for my email, to which I politely responded that I would like to skip that step. He then told me that unless I provided an email address, he would not be able to process the return. I explained that I do not have an email and asked to speak with a manager. Rather than calling a manager, he turned to a nearby coworker who instructed him on what to do. He returned to the register visibly upset, processed the return, and when I handed him the original receipt, he tossed it on the counter instead of handing it back to me. This entire interaction should be available on your store's surveillance footage and can be reviewed for verification. Despite the disrespect, I remained calm and chose not to engage. After completing the return, he also tossed the final receipt for me to sign onto the counter instead of handing it to me respectfully. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect a basic level of professionalism, especially after making a return trip to the store. This experience left a negative impression, and I hope this feedback is used constructively to improve future customer interactions

The place is well staffed and organized, having someone available on the floors, fitting rooms, and registers. As far as the merchandise goes, there's a well appointed selection for men and women as the store is split equally in half. Sales on almost every rack, you're bound to find something you're looking for. Shirts at this time were 2 for $30, or $21.99 for 1 shirt. I suggest starting at the back of the store as that is where the heavily discounted items are. There is a rack with additional discounts on top of their already discounted items. I managed to find a shirt for only $8 compared to its original high selling point. If you're looking for sporting wear at great deals, pay this Under Armour a trip.

The market is down for the most part so Jordan's that would have sold out years back are sitting below retail here. They had plenty of stock and sizing. It was super busy and crowded.
