Started with a slap to the back of the head. Within a week he was being held down by two boys while the third boy punched him in the face, stomach and kick in the nuts. I notified teacher, vice principal Mrs Connelly and Principal Mr Hudek and was reassured that they would handle it. I personally handed over the antibullying forms to the district which they "have no record of". The second time I filled out the anti bully form I requested the secretary to sign that I gave this to her and she refused. They have no record of that either. Finally I picked up my son and his whole face was red. His bullies were stomping his head. I received no phone call or anything. Urgent care visit confirmed concussion and broken ribs. School then began retaliating against my son. VP called me 6x in a two week period for things like "making fart noises in class". She called and punished my son over the most ridiculous things. If that's not retaliation I don't know what is. This whole district is a joke.

After inquiring by phone I stood in line at 5:45 am to register and pay any fees due as I was told they fill fast (sounded promising to me). He was at his previous daycare for 3 years so we knew this was going to be a huge transition. However, when my son started it did not go too well. My son is also speech delayed and when he, like most individuals, who are not understood can become very frustrated. But this was something that the staff was not willing to work with or take into consideration. I was told after "2" days that my son could not return until he was evaluated. My son does not lack intelligence but gets very uncomfortable around unfamiliar faces or surroundings; like clenching his comfort blanket even while on the playground. Which I've never seen him do before. But they didn't hesitate to withdrawal 1 1/2 months worth of tuition from us which we had to wait 1 week for them to return. Meantime we had to pay for him returning to his previous daycare provider. What hurt the most is when my son told my husband and I that he was not going back to his previous provider because he had to go to school. He was starting to warm up to them. I would never allow him to return even if they asked me. I rarely write reviews but wanted other parents who may have a child similar to my son to be aware that just because a school says its Christian based does not mean its for your child. And always listen to your child on how they respond to different environments.
