While the…read moremoving crew themselves were kind, hardworking, and respectful (we even tipped them), the way the company's management has handled the aftermath has been extremely disappointing. Several of my belongings were damaged during the move, including all three mattresses (torn), a broken nightstand with glass inlays, scratched bed frames, ripped up threshold on my front door and a brand-new front storm door that they tried to claim was only rubber trim when it is clearly metal. My home is brand new! One mover also left black glove smudges across my walls that cannot be cleaned and now require painting. When I brought these issues to the owner's attention, I was told flatly, "No Ma'am your claim is closed," without any acknowledgment, investigation, or willingness to even look at the damage. The refusal to take responsibility or even have a conversation about the matter shows a serious lack of professionalism and accountability at the management level. To be clear -- the movers crew themselves were wonderful people. Unfortunately, the company's leadership has made it impossible for me to recommend them. Moving is stressful enough; the last thing you should have to deal with is extensive damage and a company unwilling to stand behind its service.

Also they will charge you an extra month until you call the office personally and let them know you ARE DONE. Do not do it through through the app because they will continue to charge you until you call! AVOID!! Read the ratings and be cautious; everything in your unit will be destroyed by dirt, dust and MICE!

I work in a position that requires every aspect of my job to be in place before the actual encounter date. I expected this company to be professionals and have everything in line before the moving date. In hindsight I see why the two moving companies I called before Garden State said they would send someone over a guy to do an estimate. The movers came and said nothing to me about not being packed correctly. I left for a moment and the foreman called Nicole and said I did not pack right. I'm no professional but I thought I did a great job. Nicole decided since I had three guys, (mind you the new guy was sick most of the move) and I did not pack right that she was raising the rate from $145 an hr. to $190 an hr. and taking away the 10% discount agreed upon in the contract. My bed is not properly put together, and I can't find screws for tv stands and other things, it's just a mess. I rely heavily on honest reviews, and I am happy that others seemed to have a good experience. Not me. BEWARE!!!

Home Depot dropped it in my doorway and refused to bring it any further. I called Garden State movers on a Saturday to which a very friendly lady took all my info, explained everything I needed to know, gave me a price, and gave me the time that they were arriving within a hour. A half hour before they came I received a phone call telling me exactly when they would arrive. When the 2 gentlemen arrived they introduced they're selves with a hand shake, and they then scoped out the job first. I questioned them that there was only 2 of them, how would they be be able to lift the vanity even though they Both were pretty buff. They had the vanity and the top in the bathroom in matter of 10 minutes. They were both very careful watching that they didn't drop or bang the vanity. During the whole move, I was impressed that they verbally talked the move to each other while making the move. I would use Garden state again, and I would highly recommend 3

While we realistically knew that not everything would arrive in pristine condition, we were astounded at the amount of things packed by Sea Cure that arrived broken or damaged. Trying to settle the large claim was a monumental and unpleasant task. If we could roll back the clock we would not move with Sea Cure.

We felt Lloyds of Millville, as a long established 85year old family business, was more than…read morecapable of providing us the awning we were looking for...we made a huge judgement error. When they arrived to install our awning, the installers discovered the initial measurements were taken incorrectly, therefore the Frame was made wrong. The installation supervisor re-measured the area and assured me the problem would be fixed and the Frame would be 'perfect' when they return to install it the second time. Understanding mistakes happen, we fully believed that would be the case...the second install went just as bad. A week later they returned. The second installation attempt exposed new problems with the Frame and now the canopy cover, so many in fact, their supervisor said he had never seen so many problems with the workmanship in all the years he worked for Lloyds of Millville. We had had enough. We now have holes in our stucco and wood areas, created by the screws used to secure the frame to our home and still.... after numerous request, no refund of our deposit. Any company can make promises and take your money. A Good Company is judged by how they handle problems...Lloyds of Millville is not a good company.
