    No eBoarding Pass Available ?

It's a small airport so you can surely get in and through security TSA in only a few minutes. My experience is the TSA workers were polite and professional. As with many airports these days, food choices are limited. Actually, there are no food choices at the CSG. On the way out of the airport after landing, it can take a little longer than it really should to get your checked back from the baggage claim area. The rental cars' availability is better than I expected; more choices. CSG is only 90 miles from the Atlanta airport (which is 25 minutes of flight time via CRJ regional jet). It's actually quicker to drive from Columbus to Atlanta and fly from there. I can't see how this place makes any actual money or sense. There's no technology in place so you might use your smart phone app to check-in. Delta is the only carrier. Other air carriers have long-since-gone away and left their ticket counters empty, looking like a failed strip mall. The CSG is really close to Fort Benning military base so count on nearly every flight having some number of US military personnel; usually younger soldiers going to or coming from specialized training. Maybe that's where money comes from to keep this airport open to the public, barely. My best frequent flier advice: skip it. Drive to Atlanta instead.

Keurig for travelers to grab coffee before a flight. Ran out of the cups in two minutes but the gate agent brought more!

Small airport that is very straightforward! As another yelper mentioned, once you land, you can handle rental car business before picking up your bag from the baggage claim. Delta is currently the sole commercial airline that flies here. If you have a flight out of here, note that TSA agents might not be at the security check until half an hour before your flight. Do not despair - you won't miss your flight. They are efficient! In my experience, they didn't check my id + boarding pass until after I placed my items on the belt and before I walked through the metal detector. Overall, traveler-friendly airport though it certainly has a very idiosyncratic feel to it.

    Very small disappointing airport.

Very small disappointing airport. I arrived a couple hours early before my boarding time and there was no one there - 0900. I was finally able to check my bag at 0950. It is now 15 minutes before the flight begins to board and there is still no one available at the TSA check-in.

Small metro airport. Easy in...easy out. Parking was close to the terminal and the airport was clean.

I don't always wait for hours for TSA to open just before my flight, but when I do I'm at the Columbus airport

Do not trust the Delta staff with your flying or cargo needs. They are awful and unprofessional.

If I could put negative stars I would!…read more I had travled to Georgia to see my husband who is currently training at Fort Benning. My plan was to fly into Harts-field International, because it was cheaper then flying directly into Columbus. The 100 mile difference between Atlanta and Columbus was going to cost me $78 with another service so, determined to save a buck, I continued my search and came across this pathetic excuse for a shuttle service. Once I arrived in Atlanta I knew I had a couple hours before my shuttle would arrive and I was prepared for the wait. Half an hour before it's due arrival time I went to sit out in the ground transportation area. My shuttle was scheduled to arrived at noon. When 12:05 rolled around I wasn't too worried as it looked like traffic was bad. When 12:10 came I was a little more anxious. And by the time it was 12:18 I decided to call to make sure everything was alright. The person I got on the phone was RUDE. He told me it has only been 18 minutes not like it had been half an hour or anything. He said that they aren't a taxi service the the shuttle wasn't going to be there when I expected it to be and that I'd just have to wait. About 10 minutes later I received a call from the manager. She said she'd call her driver to find out what was up and then call me back. It took her nearly 20 minutes to do so and when she did she said he would be there shortly. At 1 she called and asked if he'd arrived and when I said no she said he would be soon. He arrived at 1:15. In the hour and forty-five minutes I waited for that shuttle I saw at least 7 of the competitors shuttles headed to Columbus go by. Also it takes about an hour and a half (up to 45 minutes if there's traffic) to go from Columbus to Atlanta and vis versa. Which means he probably left right around the time they were meant to pick me up from the airport. My nightmare doesn't really end there. My seat didn't have a seat belt. And while I couldn't find any laws against driving and talking on your phone in Georgia, I didn't quite feel safe as the driver was on his for about 60% of the trip back. The van was filthy! When I arrived in Columbus I went into their offices where I was greeted by the same manager who called me. There was no apology and she gave me a stamp card for ride 10 or so times get your 11th ride free. As if I would ever ride with them again. When I headed back to the van to collect my bag the driver was about to close the back doors. When I mentioned I had a bag he seemed to act fake surprised like he didn't remember putting it back there. I took their competitor back to the airport. Much more professional, prompt and clean. I don't think I'll think too much about paying the $15 extra for their competitors service next time I travel to Columbus.

YOU, YES YOU! You need to read below!!…read more Rule 1 of travelling life: You do not take the Courtesy Shuttle ever in Georgia. Rule 2 of travelling life: YOU DO NOT TAKE the Courtesy Shuttle ever in Georgia. I wish I could give negative stars and it is with deep regret that I'm forced by Yelp to award 1/5. I took this shuttle from the Atlanta Airport to LaGrange. The fat and unhelpful driver first seated me in, then asked me to stand out so he could circle around and get in the line of shuttles! I had to wait 25 mins outside until he returned. It's not over yet. Part 2 - he waited 20 mins more because I was the only one in the shuttle and he couldn't find anyone else. Not only was the service a disaster, the driver was extremely unprofessional. He spat saliva with every word he spoke, moved like a snail, wasted time and had no sense of urgency, and made me wait for an unbearably long time. I finally had to turn to Groome which was much quicker. I reached the client's site almost an hour late and was furious. I HOPE THIS SHUTTLE SERVICE IS SOMEDAY COMPELLED TO CLOSE ITS BUSINESS.

Goldstar? How about no stars? If I could, I would give this cab company zero stars…read more In the last two weeks, I had two negative experiences with this cab service. The first, the driver took 30 min to pick me up from my doctor's office even though I gave the dispatcher specific directions on what building I was in. Turns out the driver was hanging out at the wrong building for 15 min and didn't think to call me. The cabs aren't the cleanest or well-maintained but for a fairly short ride, it's not that big of a deal. The second experience was this morning. I called Goldstar 40 min ahead of time to request a cab for my brother. He needed to get to the Groome shuttle office in Columbus to get to the ATL airport (the Groome office is a 12 min drive from where we are). After 5 min PAST the scheduled pick up time, I called the dispatch and was told the cabbie was dropping off someone and would be there within a few min. Well, long story short - 2 more calls to the dispatch and 1 from the driver later - each call promising that the cab was 5 min away, the cab was a total of 32 min late. (That is 4 calls total in a 30-min period!!!) The cab arrived 3 min before his shuttle was scheduled to leave from the shuttle office. Needless to say, since my brother missed his shuttle. He had to take the next one which gave him approximately 20 min to get thru airport security and make it to his gate. Did not happen. The driver was apologetic but apologies mean nothing when you are purposely lied to over and over again. Why couldn't they just be upfront and say "I'm sorry, we are running late, it's really going to be 20-30 min more." Give me the opportunity to call someone else. The cab company is not the one who is being inconvenienced - the customer is. But no, they just choose to string you along. Do NOT use this cab company if you have to be anywhere on time! Or if do have to, give yourself a 30-45 min buffer!
