I am also thankful for their honesty. There have been multiple times when money has been left in pockets and it has been returned to us. I was walking in to pick up my order the other day. A couple of pairs of slacks that were shortened for my wife and my dry cleaning. An employee was leaving as I walked in and he thanked me for using Colvin cleaners. That random act was so touching. There are plenty of dry cleaners in WNY to go to, but the staff at Colvin sets them apart. I've always been happy with their work. Customer service is fantastic. Prices are fair. The reason this place gets 4 stars though is because I dropped off two gowns and both did not have all stains eliminated, despite the fact that both were dropped off immediately after wear. Amazing establishment!! 5 days before my graduation, I ordered a dress and needed it altered as soon as possible. I waited until 3 days prior to the event to find a tailor which was, of course, a terrible idea. The dress cost $58. I was not going to pay more than $25 to have it altered. After searching around, I couldn't find a decent place that wouldn't overcharge me. One place I went to quoted me $85!! I refuse to pay more than the dress cost. I Yelped a few other businesses and Colvin Cleaners came up, thank god! The staff was so pleasant and caring. They immediately had me try on the dress and the seamstress asked me what I wanted to do to the dress. She also told me about the structure of the dress, as well as what would and would not work with my desires. Afterwards, I asked the front desk for an estimated price and was told $26. Still reasonable and they would have it done in time for my graduation. When I picked up my dress, it fit perfectly and looked amazing. The price was even cheaper too. I paid $18! (Winning!). I've taken my dry cleaning to many cleaners in the Buffalo and Kenton area and this one is by far the best. Unlike many other dry cleaners, their prices are extremely fair. They also don't take nearly as long as many others. The service is quick and easy. The staff has always been very friendly and the location is very nice and very clean. I got a couple pairs of pants altered there before and they were also done very well for a very reasonable price. I can not begin to say how impressed I am with the professionalism of the staff and ownership of Colvin Cleaners! I am a disabled Veteran who used the Veterans One-stop Center of WNY to find employment. Colvin Cleaners helps Veterans who are going on job interviews, and through our employment services, dry clean and alter the suits they receive from amazing donations to the One-stop. I say "our" program, because I am now employed at the One-stop helping Veteran's like myself. Now, I am a Colvin Cleaners fan! I had a confirmation for our son this past weekend and realized on friday afternoon that my suit needed to be dry cleaned. Our hometown dry cleaners was unable to do anything because of time constraints. I brought my suit to colvin cleaners and with the help of Paula they pressed my suit and did a tremendous job. I took a dress here to be hemmed and taken in for a wedding. I took it in on a Wednesday afternoon, they told me it would be ready the following Monday after 3pm. Monday at 5 i went to pick up the dress, they told me they had not finished and I should come back the following day after 5. I went to pick up the dress the next day when i walked in she could not find the dress. I waited for 20 minutes for her to find it in the same exact place they put it when I dropped it off, it still had the markings on it and nothing was done... With the wedding the following day i had no choice but to take dress and wear it safety pinned... I was and still am furious beyond belief... I wouldn't suggest going here if you are on a deadline or honestly at all... This is so unacceptable. read more

Do Not have Colvin Cleaners do your clothing. They are one of the worst cleaners I have ever seen and I have seen a lot in my time. Ater they ruin your clothing they actually try to tell you in is fine. I was reimbursed full amount after several months of deal with them. read more
